Pros: Truly heaven on earth. Every meal was delicious with a good variety, all with a stunning view. Our villa was clean and the private balcony had a wonderdul view. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was really interesting to learn about meditation too, such a perfect setting. The private beaches were perfect for peaceful relaxation after a snorkel from the pier. Iris' dedication to minimize their eco footprint was also extremly refreshing. Abolute perfection, worth every penny.
Pros: The reef!!!!
Pros: Everything ! The location , the staff and nist of all the peaceful lifestyle and nature
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: The Coral reef was really spectacular
Cons: Nothing - its a great place to rejuvenate
Pros: The food was delicious, everyday something different and multiple options. The staff was super friendly, the view amazing,... And so on and so on.
Pros: Extremely beautiful location and exclusive island to accommodate limited guests! This made it possible for the owner Frank and his staff to provide every guest unlimited personal assistance and support. No request to big deal for them to deal with on short notice!
Cons: There is honestly nothing negative to say but if one must be extremely critical I could say the lack of proper ceiling fans to cool down the rooms and the provide the basic toiletries like toothpaste and toothbrushes that is standard to accommodation at this level!
Pros: Eco friendly. You can have comfort with less carbon footprint. You can do snorkel in the beaches nearby and no need to go somewhere else. Relax, fresh rooms, no mosquitos, you listen to the waves, in the middle of nature. This is paradise.
Cons: Nothing to remark. It was an excellent experience
Pros: Everthing about the Island!!! The service is great! Plus the corals and sea life are fantastic!!! Would like to definitely come back someday!
Pros: Our 1 week stay in Eco resort was really outstanding. It was great to have a feeling one contributes to save a planet, using solar power, and all other eko facilities, while enjoying beautiful islands and its peaceful athmosphere. It’s corral reef is one of the best we’ ve seen in Busuanga area, kayak boat trips around the island add to sport element of our holiday. We would strongly recommend the place and we hope we’ll be back one day.
Pros: Perfect location, really nice natural environment, close to the mainland. Also offer quite good activities. Vollyball, snorkeling, outdoor gym is in progress, nice island walk. Food is really good, amazing panorama from the restaurant. Beautiful corall reef, worth to snorkel. We also enjoyed the meditacion session after dinner. The resort is small, not busy at all, perfect for resting.
Cons: A bit overpriced comparing not everything is finalized. Pool, outdoor gym are not ready yet and transfer is also a bit pricey. The bungallow is open between the wall and roof, we found some insects, cockroaches and gekkos inside. Comparing to the level what the resort represents it would be nice to give free of charge the kayak and snorkeling set instead of rental fee.
When you stay at Busuanga Bay Lodge in Busuanga, you'll be on the waterfront, within a 5-minute drive of Concepcion Pier and Concepcion Falls. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: I'm satisfied
Cons: Transportation is too expensive. Excellent
Pros: It’s for the love couple.. if you plan to spend valuable time with your life partner go to Busuanga Bay Lodge
Cons: Transportation is expensive
Pros: A beautiful resort style property. Large rooms, lots of staff. Beautiful location and view overlooking the bay.
Cons: The resort is large so we had to call a golf cart to get to the dining area and pool etc. The resort is also remote and so it’s not possible to stroll or catch a taxi into town as it is far away. Also it is virtually impossible to use any other boat operators besides the hotel ones which are very expensive. If you would like to use another operator you have to pay 7000 pesos extra for them to collect you from the hotel jetty. Also, because of the remote location we ate every meal at the resort and it was very expensive. Other than that, it really is a beautiful place.
Pros: The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. The facilities were clean, comfortable and well maintained. I highly recommend getting a spa treatment while here. They also have paddle boards and kayaks for guests use. Overall a great resort to stay at.
Cons: Although it is 45 minutes from Coron Town Proper and an hour from the airport, the location was beautiful and relaxing.
Cons: everything was great
Pros: Super kind staff, cleaniness, good food, beautiful beach, tours at trasonable prices.
Pros: Nice view
Cons: Very far
Pros: This resort is exceptional - the view , the staff , the food , the location . Amazing
Pros: The friendliness and cleanliness of the location. The view is excellent and the location itself is quiet and safe.
When you stay at La Estancia Busuanga Resort in Busuanga, you'll be steps from Black Island Shipwreck. Featured amenities include luggage storage and a library. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request).
Pros: From the beginning of my booking, they contacted me to make sure I had arrangements from the airport to their hotel. Upon arrival the welcomed us with a delicious four season drink and big smile. They really made us feel like family. They completely took care of all the arrangements for us to any island tours of our desire: Black Island Tour & Coron, Palawan Tour. The hotel itself was located far away from Coron, up in the North East of the Island, really quite place away from any big towns or cities. I felt I had the whole place for myself and was relaxed from the beginning. Beautiful place with no words to describe how relaxed I left and the tours were a dream come true. Their customer service was excellent. I definitely would rate them 10 out 5 if I could.
Cons: Just to let us know that there is a lot of mosquitos in Black Island in order to prevent unnecessary bites in my children.
Pros: Lovely staff and amazing location!
Cons: Petty little thing but it would have been nice if they had some snacks or desserts. Or a sari-sari store is something!
Pros: The property is beautiful and private. Since it’s the low season, we were practically the only ones there. The staff is very nice and very polite. Filipino hospitality at its best. We were sad to leave. We enjoyed kayaking around the property. It was the highlight of our trip.
Cons: The food needs to be better. The servings of tocino, which my kids liked, were quite small. There should also be more choices on the menu. I know it’s a small place but since there’s no other places to eat, it would be helpful, especially if you are staying for several days. There is no WiFi to speak of. You have to be in the dining hall to avail of it. Even then it’s pretty slow.
Pros: Great location, easily the best on the island we thought. Very relaxing and the staff were fantastic too
Cons: The WiFi was a little awkward, but everything else more than made up for that!
Pros: Awsome place, everything is perfect, you feel like in a cosy cottage with view on the sea. Very welcoming and warm.
Cons: It is quite far away from Coron town (2hr bike ride for us). But it is totally worth it, and such a hotel couldn't be posible too close to a town.
Pros: Location location location...such friendly staff and loved trying the local dishes. Fantastic day trip on a private boat tour to Black island. This is pure paradise.
Pros: Everything, the staff were incredible in making our stay incredibly special. I proposed to my partner there and they went above and beyond all expectations to make the experience extremely special and memorable. The property is gorgeous, the rooms were amazing and it felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves. Thank you so much again for everything the staff did to make the occasion so special and can't recommend staying here more!
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Pros: We were impressed by the hospitality of the staff, atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. We advise this hotel if you are looking for experience of living on private island.
Cons: Problematic and quite expensive for us to get to the nearest shop (transfer from hotel to Salvacion 1000 php)
Pros: We stayed three nights at this property and if we could we would have spent at least one or two nights more. If you’re looking for a quiet place in nature away from the busy side of busuanga or coron than you’re 100% right here. The staff was so nice and uncomplicated, all our wishes were fulfilled during out whole stay. It was indeed a “discover private island living” experience. Also it was really comfortable that the property offers a variety of different island hoping tours. Here you can choose more than one island and you just have to pay the most expensive one. All in we loved everything and can recommend it to everybody who wants to relax and enjoy the amazing views.
Cons: Nothing much really.
Pros: Quite peaceful place
Cons: One restaurant. WiFi only at the lobby.
Pros: The feeling to be alone, the private beach and pier.
Cons: The service needs improvement. The pool needs to be cleaned, their is flies so something needs to be done.
When you stay at Al Faro Cosmio Hotel in Busuanga, you'll be near the airport, within a 5-minute drive of Concepcion Pier and Concepcion Falls. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request).
Pros: I really loved this place. Would love to come back again. The rooms and location were fantastic.
Cons: The steep walk up is the worst but the staff does everything to make it better for you. The restaurant service could be improved although the food was decent. There were always many employees in the restaurant but it always took long for them to take your order and never did anyone ever check on you after they put down your food. I also did not particularly like having to preorder my dinner and setting a time ahead for dinner. But this would not stop me from staying here again, it just could be improved.
Pros: Amazing location, great view and swimming pool, possibility to use kayaks, welcoming and helpful staff, very good food, everything was perfect ! We highly recommend Al Farò!
Pros: Customer service
Pros: Beautiful sunset from the top of the hill! Nice bungalow rooms, good food, very friendly and helpful staff. All in all a very special place, perfect to relax and enjoy the flair of the Philippines!
Cons: The hotel can only be reached by boat so sometimes it can be a bit complicated if you wanna leave the hotel. Also, the boat trips are quite pricy. We had some ant invasion in our room.. but the hotel was fully booked so no chance to get another room of the same quality.
Pros: This is a place where peace and tranquility abound. Perfect hideaway from hustle and bustle of the big city. Beautiful sunset and ocean views. Food is very good and service is excellent. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who like a peaceful and serene place. If you are after a party place , this is not for you.
Pros: the spectacular view of the pearl bay. all the other good comments about this place is true. i just leave another good review rate to get more attention of yours cuz it is truly worthy.
Cons: the steep path
Cons: Too many insects
Pros: Great atmosphere, rooms are very cosy and intimate. Swimming pool has an amazing view, especially at sunset. Interesting music selection in common spaces. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: The hotel is in a beautiful location, although a bit isolated. Once you get there it is quite difficult to explore the island, except through their excursions. Excursions are a bit overpriced and in some cases not always worth their price.
Pros: Very beautiful location, on a hillside. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We would definitely recommend this place!
Pros: Staff were friendly and great, they made our honey moon special with some nice decorations. I would of stay 1 day more but it was fully booked. As this resort is Private and with no easy access there is breakfast/lunch/dinner in the hotel. Breakfast was included in the price, would prefer bigger choice, but I really like that the all a cart Menu Price was fair and not over priced as there wasn't option to eat somewhere else. We choose to have a massage too before dinner and it was great to and not over priced I would recommend go straight from airport to this hotel and not even try to go Coron town, as a tourist I didn't like it :) In hotel they offer all the tours with trustworthy people, only shame that the boat guys didn't speak English but they where good at there profession - looked after us and boat was beautiful and fast..just no English speaking !
Bella Louise House offers accommodations in Coron. Free WiFi is available in public areas. It is 450 metres to Concepcion Falls. Busuanga Airport is 16 km away. Airport transfers are available at additional charges. Fan-cooled rooms have an en suite bathroom equipped with shower facilities. Some rooms feature a seating area that opens up to views. Towels are also provided
Pros: The staff and the helpfulness of the property manager
Cons: No WiFI
Pros: Food when available was very nice, amazing views and kakaying was really fun.
Cons: On the first night the restaurant was shut, we didn’t mind walking 20 mins to conception for dinner but other guests were turned away as they stopped serving food at 8 and didn’t get to eat anything. The other nights the restaurant was open half the items were unavailable. Very very loud music from the neighbours on 2/3 nights we stayed. To the point you couldn’t have a conversation on the deck. We asked the staff multiple times to ask if they could speak to them to turn it down. All we got was ‘I don’t know where the music is coming from’ when you could actually see the speakers next door. We ended up having to go over and ask ourselves. The neighbours happily turned down the music but we had to keep asking every time it was turned up. We told where we were moving onto after our stay nd we’re told it was 20 mins walk and didn’t need a tricycle. Turned out it was a 6km (hour and a half) walk with our 15kg backpacks. Luckily someone we stayed with at Bella Louise saw us and gave us a lift. Our new hostel was staggered they said we could walk.
Pros: The sunset, the staff and the room.
Cons: The food is a little on the pricey side but understandable due to its distance from the town proper
Pros: Directly at the water with restaurant next door Small huts with water view
Cons: It was raining very hard and our floor was completely wet, was a bit annoying since there is no shelf to put your luggage
Pros: Great place when you want some relaxed days. Lovely family that will do everything to make your stay as perfect as possible. Delicious food, nice surrounding islands and beautiful sunset every night. I’ll book again if I come back.
Pros: This family run establishment is a lovely reprieve and a nice get away. Quiet and about 45mins from Coron Town. Easily accessible by Q Bus system. Beautiful views on the dock and sunset on the water. Food was delicious, reasonably priced and prepared by a trained chef. Cold drinks, beer and liquor available. Motorbike is available for rent to seek out beaches and explore the island. Excursion tours and kayak are also available. Highly recommend as a modest, peaceful get away.
Cons: no complaints
Pros: Bring torch when walking out at night Buy local sim card it's very cheap Suggest some snacks in room as kitchen closes at 7pm Kitchen can cook food brought in on request Check out food in Conception and by the pier.
Cons: Bring torch when walking out at night Buy local sim card it's very cheap Suggest some snacks in room as kitchen closes at 7pm Kitchen can cook food brought in on request Check out food in Conception and by the pier.
Pros: The staff were amazing, the sunset incredible... perfect place!
Pros: The staff were excellent. We stayed in the main house and we were made to feel very welcome. We hired kayaks and a moped from John and he was very thorough about where to go. We also took part in a boat trip to black island which is highly recommended!!
Cons: We liked everything!
Pros: Nice place outside of the noisy city of Coron. Nice people and extremly nice owner. Thank you very much for the wonderful meals that I enjoed a lot. It is a place to relax and meet other people.
Cons: From here it is a bit more difficult to get tours but if you are talking to people and other guests you can still make a good deal. Book the seaside rooms which are not affected by the noise of the road.
When you stay at Concepcion Divers Lodge in Busuanga, you'll be on the beach, just steps from Concepcion Falls and 11 minutes by foot from Concepcion Pier. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and a water dispenser. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The place is wonderful! It's perfect for backpackers and those carrying light.
The staff is very hospitable and nice. We stayed only two nights and took the tour that was offered. This tour was different in that we could stay at each location as long as we wanted! It wasn't the typical 30 to 40 minutes in each location other tour agencies charge.
The place is rustic and uses shared bathrooms so it wont be for everyone!
Cons: Shared toilet. No AC. No bug net over bed.
Pros: The location was beautiful. The staff were friendly & helpful. The food was amazing.
Pros: The location. The view.
Cons: At my arrival in the morning, the staff don’t tel me that they didn’t have water for the shower. There’s no windows on the room.
Pros: I did not get a welcome or introduction at all upon arrival which was strange. Was okay in the end once the owner came back. Right on the beach so good location.
Cons: Food was ok.
Pros: The Lodge is right on the waterfront - and right at the pier to board boats. We had airconditioned room - basic room, double bed - no problems - easy walk to a couple of little village stores and 2 other restaurants. The meals are good - the spring rolls are amazing!! The boat trip to amazing snorkeling and beaches - Black Rock Island
Cons: If I had to pick something it would be the sharing of shower/toilet - but I knew that it was a share facility when I booked. There is only 1 proper shower/toilet for everyone to share - so I imagine that could be a problem if many people staying there, we only had our group of 4 and another couple staying at the time. Make sure you have plenty of local cash with you as nowhere outside of Coron Town for foreign exchange cash or Foreign ATM.
Pros: The area is great and right next to the sea. The food is good and the room is nice. Beautiful sunset from the restaurant.
Cons: Our room was located right next to the water pump. So everytime someone would shower, they would start the pump on and let it run longer (instead of turning it off after the person had showered) and unfortunatly this water pump was making A LOT of noise.. despite my girlfriend was really sick during our stay and this water pump was not helping her at all... Also there is not a proper beach to swim and the propriety miss a secluded place with some sitting area to read or relax outside. The wifi is woking only at the restaurant area and not reachable in our room.
Pros: Not a real beach were to swim but a very nice view. Staff very smiley and very helpful. Next to a dive shop and close to facilities providing kayak and scooters. We also appreciate the amazing island tour provided by the staff. You can also reach very private beach by kayak, which we strongly recommend.
Cons: Showers are not working correctly all the time
Pros: It was nice staying here - felt like escaping crowded and loud cities. The room was ok - perfect for staying couple of days. Food was really nice here. Didn't mind the shared bathroom as well. One of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.
Cons: It was a bit loud in the mornings, but as in every other Philippines village.
Pros: Location nice and quiet
Cons: Bathroom facilities
Pros: Staff, beds were comfy
Cons: Only one proper shower room, hard when wanting to just clean teeth
Pros: The location is fantastic right by the shore and perfect to watch the sunset with a beer from the bar. Shared bathroom was spacious, clean and had a hot shower (albeit with not very strong water pressure) - first time we had one in 3 weeks in the philippines! Liked having a rail to hang clothes in room. Arranged a private boat to dibutonay island with the hotel for a reasonable price.
Cons: Room was a bit poky and not very secure - you could easily open the windows from the outside as no way to lock them. Staff were a bit disorganised and difficult to know who to speak to to get things sorted out.
With a stay at Cashew Grove Beach Resort in Busuanga, you'll be on the beach, and 24.3 mi (39.1 km) from Palawan State University - Coron and 21.5 mi (34.6 km) from Black Island Shipwreck. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: If you're looking to relax and laze around, this is your place. Decent dives, great crew, and dugongs were found.
Cons: Location isn't ideal if you're looking for action, you're either adventuring on tours or diving or left to yourselves at the resort. Cell service is very spotty and their WiFi is really bad. The water goes very far out at low tide, so not really a place to swim.
Pros: The very accommodating staff..the beautiful view of the sea and shore from d balcony...the sounds of nature during d dusk and at nighttime..the adventure in d island hopping..the sightings of d whale and sea turtle...1st time for me in the Phils..
Cons: The sightings of the fecal droppings of a big house lizard in d bathroom..according to d staff...
Pros: Staff was super kind, polite and helpful. The hotel is very well maintained, with attention to cleanliness and order. The garden is beautiful. The food was rich and tasty. The tours and taxis booked through the hotel were at reasonable prices. The bamboo houses were comfortable. Kids had lots of fun in the swimming pool. the daily trip to a nearby island was a fantastic snorkelling experience
Cons: We have been unlucky with the weather, but this is not the hotel fault :) the beach is not the best one in Coron but, in turn, there is a very close reef (swimming distance) that is amazing. the hotel is a bit distant from Coron town, so daily tours require a bit of patience with transportation.
Pros: Everything was good , swimming pool , food and staff.
Cons: Internet doesn’t work !!
Pros: Lovely Cabanna, great beach, friendly staff, generally quiet and peaceful when the dive center are not running about making lots of noise or just hanging out chatting in the restaurant the whole time . 24/7. Even though they have an office to hang in . Very tiresome . Complaining all the time about noise. But then they changed out our room away from the dive center & pool. Which they’ve now taken over for dive training the beginners so that’s also a compromise . $50 to take a 1 hour boat trip pax to see the dugongs - totally rediculous and overpriced sadly so had to cut it from our itinerary .
Cons: Worst food I’ve ever eaten , under cooked , spaghetti with ketchup = bolognaise. Etc etc overpriced food. Overpriced diving. Horrible food . Slow service. Staff overworked. Running triple shifts and clearly not getting any of the 10% compulsory service charge . Also a tips box on The bar - so we are expected to pay twice for the service.
Pros: Location, the reef in front of the resort had clear water, lots of coral and sea life. I liked how our bungalow was set on the waterfront, I liked the outdoor feel of the bathroom, it is in need of a bit of roof repair there was a few leaks. The deck on the front of bungalow was a great space.
Cons: We feel the cost to get there was a bit high, especially when we were picked up while staff were going to the bank anyway. The mattress in the room also needs replacing as it smelt of old sweat and damp including the pillows. We found the food to be of a low standard for the price charged
Pros: Beautiful peaceful location away from the business and bustle of Coron Town. Great room with fabulousl shower
Cons: One of the reasons booked this property was because of pool, but it was action the three days we were there, on 1st day we were told it was being treated and would be ready to use following day but remained green and sludgy the whole time
Pros: The Resort is located ~45 mins from the airport, and is in quite remote area. The staff is very helpful, you are close to nature. The view of the night sky was amazing! There is a beautiful reef just by the shore (and you can borrow kayaks to get there:) ).
Cons: Being close to nature means being close to little creatures I'm not a fan of ;) Since the place is quite far a way from Coron, you depend on the Resort's driver to get you there (I was charged 2500 PHP for travel to Coron).
Pros: The staff were friendly and general feel of the place was lovely. Remote location which was nice to relax in. The massage there is amazing.
Cons: The food was quite basic and poor. We got sick after the first night but not sure what the cause was. We were required to order our meals hours in advance which always felt odd especially when you had just eaten. The aircon an fan dont really work too well so it made the room quite hot and stuffy. I would say overall the value for money is poor.
Pros: Very good breakfast choices , away from hustles and bustles of life. Very calm and peaceful. In the morning you can hear the soothing waves, our room has a panoramic view. Good way to start a day.
With a stay at Mom's Guesthouse Coron - Hostel in Coron (Coron Town Proper), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Palawan State University - Coron and Coron Central Plaza. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
With a stay at Palawan SandCastles Beach Resort in Busuanga, you'll be on the beach, and 24.1 mi (38.7 km) from Palawan State University - Coron and 21.8 mi (35 km) from Black Island Shipwreck.
Pros: the staff are good
Cons: car service charge is high. too many dogs in the resort
Pros: Really quiet environment, beautiful area to use a kayak. (just use it to get around the corner on the right side, you will find a beautiful secluded beach!) The breakfast and diner are very good, thumbs up for the chef! You can use the fridge whenever you want, just write on the bord what you get out of it and pay when you leave. Staff is really kind and helpfull.
Cons: The nearest supermarket is like a 20 min. drive with a motorbike, beach houses cannot be locked and taxidriver really make advantage of you because it's the only transportation you have to reach Palawan Sandcastles. When we left we also had to go to Coron Town and did have to pay a lot of money for that, the accomodation is also a bit expensive. Been there for two days, had a nice stay, two days is enough to get some rest but wouldn't stay there any longer because there are not many people around or things to do.
Cons: too far, no understanding of customer service , almost no food, no internet ...If you want to feel isolated , far from the rest of the world...go for it !
Cons: Overpriced, very hot, poorly maintained, lousy and overpriced food!
Pros: The location is really great, the bungalow was also spacious and clean. Possibility to rent kayak with mask included in the price. Super quiet and calm. Free drinking water.
Cons: The food is good but really expensive. There’s nothing around so you are kind of obliged to eat at the hostel. Each breakfast costs 400php and the full diner menu costs 700php. If you travel on a buget, those extra hiden costs have to be considered. We did not took the transfer to the hostel but the price was amazingly high (2000php). We took the van from the airport to Coron and rented a scooter (600/day). It takes around 1h30 to reach the place. The road is not that easy but if you already drove a scooter, it might not be an issue. I would recommend that option.
Pros: These is a platform in front of the beach where you can do snorkeling.
Cons: Overpriced, do not dine here. Need to pay (overpriced) to rent snorkeling mask, kayak etc The advertised bathtub was broken
Cons: We are not especially difficult. We have already slept in cabins on the ground, without running water and without electricity ... But we had paid for! In Sandcasltes we paid 160CHF (160$ or 140 €) for 2 nights without breakfast which is relatively expensive. So we expected something neat, nice and in keeping with the pictures. Nothing is cared for. It looks almost like an old abandoned village start. There is debris and dog poaches everywhere. Nobody cleans or tidies up. Besides, there is never anyone at the "reception" or the "restaurant". We had to change the bungalow at 6 pm because the electricity was not working. Nobody gets rid of dirty business between two nights, does not clean the bed or sweeps or anything. We had breakfast once and did not get what we ordered. Despite the fact that we have to fill a sheet with our choice the evening before. The prices are also relatively expensive (400php for breakfast although it was not what we asked for). The "restaurant" was already closed when we arrived (about 1 pm). So we went to the resort next door (Cashew Grove) and it was also expensive (500php for a frankly not good plate and rather small portion). Since there is nothing to do there except to rent a kayak at 200php per HOUR and we had no more cash (the only ATM is in Coron City) we rented a scooter to a villager (1000php then that normally it's 500php) to return to Coron City. On the way back we went to Alito Beach (after Cheey) a much nicer beach, cleaner and there is possibility to sleep in wooden cabins for almost nothing. If we had known ... Above all do not take the transport proposed by Palawan Sandcasltes to go to the airport they will ask you 2000php !!!! We took the public bus for 150php per person .... If you want to be sure of the schedule the starting point is just before Alito Beach one of the drivers is there and can even move the schedule if needed just for you!
Pros: Very nice and quiet location , you can do diving , kayaking, snorkeling and other thinks. Friendly staff and great dinner !!
Cons: Property needs definitely maintenance! Water pressure problems and mosquito nets not everywhere. Aircon doesn’t work so we get fan witch is ok. Dogs everywhere and some of them are very sick.
Pros: Nice room and a nice beach in front. Staff are very nice.
Cons: A little dirty. Facilities could use some maintenance though.
Pros: The beach that Sandcastles is on its very scenic, and the beach cabins are also pretty descent. The bathtube is fantastic and even better than the pictures. Greg the owner was also very helpful in arranging transportation to this remote property.
Cons: There's definitely a few bad points about this hotel. 1) There is not much staff present at all times, so even when checking in, you have to search for them. 2) There is no drinking water on the property for the guests. We had to go to the resort next door, to make use of their restaurant, and facilities. Lucky for us that they did have water, and good food. 3) The hotel just feels a bit abandoned. We really spent most of our time at the neighbour's resort (Cashew Grove Beach Resort). I would strongly recommend to just stay there instead to save you from having to walk up the beach each time.
With a stay at Pierhouse Lodging in Busuanga, you'll be by the sea, just steps from Concepcion Pier. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge during limited hours.
Cons: No running water in the room
Pros: I booked a fan room but the owner gave me the annex which is really nicer! I loved it! Thank you!
Cons: The water is cold hehe and some lights are not working.
Pros: Great place to see the sunset
Cons: There was no water(shower and toilet)for 2 days and the owner did not seem to understand that this is a necessitie!
Pros: Location was good, better off having a tent
Cons: Owner stated the broken toilet issue was resolved from the previous review. It wasn't. We had no water, no toilet. Had to haul buckets of water and fill tank then stick your hand in there to open the flap. No refunds was stated
Cons: Omg! I dont believe that Booking can use that”hotel”! No shower, me my wife and others 4 friends used for 11 days one basket with cold water as like a shower and for clean wc! No internet! Booking are u kidding urs customers??!!
Pros: The quiet provincial setting made it more restful and very far from the tourist crowds in town.
Cons: Out of the 5 rooms, only 1 had hot water until the end of our stay . Not all rooms had working shower. Some of the Light Bulbs were busted . Toilets need some repairs.
Pros: I liked how everyone liked to listen to whatever you said and have meaningful input in the conversations!
Cons: I didn’t like how rude some of the other guests were.
Pros: The pier and sunset, view from the shared balcony.
Cons: No Shower, not even a cold one ! When we raised a concern about the shower, we were shown the Bucket in the bathroom , and told to wash with this !Chose the accomadation as it said it had a HOT shower, very disappointed with this accommodation as this was our last few days of our trip! We booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 1 and found other accomadation as wanted a little bit of comfort ,as we had moved around a lot during the 3 weeks we were here on the island. We booked our accommodation through booking and normally the monies aren't taken until after the stay, but this was taken right out ! The owner was never around ! Poor value for money .Ants in the room,Ill fitting door on your room ,no shelves or bin any where, shared balcony no seating .food limited and extremely poor in the evenings .We were up for breakfast at 7.30 am, no one around and certainly no one doing breakfast .If breakfast was supplied with your room ,you could only have certain things on the breakfast menu! Miles from anywhere too. This was certainly a bad choice on our behalf and we lost out financially as the money had already been taken ! Please avoid this place as I feel the owner isn't delivering what he is saying .
Pros: Bad internet :))) You will especially be lucky if you get a room with a sea view. It's a blessing to wake up and look out the window at the wonderful bay, illuminated by the rising sun, and in the evening to watch the sunset and the migration of thousands of flying dogs... It is difficult for me to give any estimates and recommendations about the staff and hotel owners. We were soaked with this deep sympathy and a feeling of gratitude to this family.
