Pros: The receptionist is a credit to the albergue and could not be more genuinely helpful. What a lovely woman ! The bunks are well made, clean and private. You can get a compostela from this hostel, if you have walked from Santiago.

Pros: Everything- really a perfect setting, accommodation and experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Words do not begin to describe how beautiful this small hotel is. The owner graciously gave me a tour explaining it was once a farm built 400 years ago which he and his wife lovingly restored. Our room was spacious with a lovely bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with fresh squeezed orange juice, a fresh made omelette, ham, cheese, fruit and fresh bread. Camarinas is a short drive down the road where we had a delicious seafood dinner at Villa de Oro. While in the area we visited the lighthouse on the Costa de Morte (Coast of Death) where over a hundred shipwrecks occurred. I wish we had stayed another night because there is a lot more to explore in that area.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are extremely welcoming. I arrived completely soaked and hearing the words ‘have a shower first, have a rest, come and sit down and have a warm bowl of soup’ were exactly what I needed at that moment. They are thoughtful, caring and the place is immaculate.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was first class from an early check in through a late check out. The common areas were relaxing and had great views of the oceans.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As pilgrims, my friends and I made a joke about reviews of albergues along the camino that say something along the lines of ''this is the best albergue I have stayed in the camino". Mainly because everyone is different and therefore values different things. So, if you value: generous, friendly, approachable, kind hospitaleiros; clean, airy, spacious, functional accommodation with all the facilities you need; peace and quiet; a beautiful terrace with gorgeous views; a town that is synonymous of beauty and harmony, and peace, you have got to stay in the best albergue of the whole camino - in my opinion :-) Particularly if, like me, you want to end your camino with golden stars (also a stunning sunset, a full moon, and view of double lighthouses). Beautiful Muxía. Bela Muxía. Perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds, very clean, good location, very friendly hospitalero!
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Everything was great
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff very helpful. They sell drinks for 1€.
Cons: Only one bathroom for men and one for women. Lots of people and when someone is taking a shower you can not use the restroom. Sitting area outside is very small.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: We were received in a friendly way and were given a map and information by the hostess who could speak English quite well. Pros: The hotel is in a fantastic location. We had a very private small terrace leading off the bedroom, with a lovely harbour view. Parking across from the hotel was free which was a bonus. The hotel had a restaurant which was full both lunch time and in the evening, so you would need to reserve a table. We ate at the hotel in the evening and the food was very good, probably the best restaurant on the harbourside.

Pros: Extremely clean, in fact possibly the most spotless hotel we have ever stayed in. A very spacious bedroom and bathroom, everything well thought out. Lovely little balcony overlooking the harbour.

Room was very comfy and quiet with a beautiful view, I didn't stay long enough to try the food or breakfast so can't comment on that.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed superconfortable. Really good value for money.
Cons: It was too hot so we had to sleep with windows opened, which meant we heard the seagulls all night. Obviously not their fault as it probably doesn't get that hot to be investing in a/c.
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: We asked if they had any fruit for breakfast and they said no. One day we decided to have breakfast there, and we ask for one coffee and tea and it came with one biscuit in aplastic bag. We had a 2 year old child and they put a cot for us but they didn't tell us that it come with an additional charge of 8 euros per day.

Pros: The hotel is excellently located doe getting the bus to Santiago. It's close to a supermarket and to all of the restaurants.
Cons: It is difficult to locate without Google maps as the locals dont seem to be familiar with it and it's not well advertised.

Pros: Good hotel for a overnight stay in Muxia, rooms were well equiped and clean and the staff was very friendly.
Cons: no airconditioner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Center of town. Super friendly staff.
Cons: Noisy at night. Next to party bar. It would be nice if they could offer more than toasted bread for breakfast. Maybe cheese, yogurt, or ham.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: No laundry facilities (which I knew) and the town laundromat is apparently closed on Saturday and Sunday (which I did not know), Tried to get money back for second night so I could move to place with laundry facilities but they would not refund so I spent two days in Muxia with very smelly clothes from the Camino!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was immediately welcomed into the albergue before check in time. I was then invited to choose any bed I liked. During lunch I was invited to join the owner and fellow guests to a meal, everyone offering me local food and wine. In the evening we all sat at the dining table and got to know each. This was my last night of my Camino and it was the first time I was made to feel like party of the family. Thank you for a memorable stay.
Cons: There was nothing not to like about this albergue.
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff was very kind and helpful with a sense of humour. There was everything necessary to sleep, except a little privacy - it' s a big room with many bunk beds...
6.8 Good
Cons: sometimes when you bumped into some other tourists who are too noisy and have no manners that really bothers me.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It a hostel no more to be said
Cons: I amon camino - there are no likes or dislikes
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked the way the albergue is set up - divided i to mens and womens wcs. The small cordoned off sleepimg sections with only two bunkbeds behind curtains was delightful. And the locking cupboards were a great size, extremely convenient and well placed.
Cons: When i booked originally, i used the credit card to reserve, as is per usual. Upon arrival, i had prefered to pay with cash, but was not given the opportunity. One of the two hosts had already initiated the process and allowed no chioce. The other reality that surprised me - was the the booking.com site indicates thst there were only 2 beds left - and so i considered it quite urgent to book ahead for a friend and myself. Upon arriving, the albergue was virtually empty. There were 4 other people at the most! i felt quite deceived.

Cons: Not very central
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right on the beach and has kayaks and bikes to rent onsite. The personnel was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were even driven with the kayaks to start our tour in a good place. The hotel is very cute, offering modern rooms, and the restaurant has a large terrace overseeing the sea. At night it is very quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The village with restaurants are a short walk away. Parking is plentiful. The area also offers stunning beachfront views close by as well as a number of other attractions, all of which the hotel staff explained to us in detail.
Cons: Our room was a bit small but otherwise it was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff waited for me as i was arriving late and was very welcoming going above and beyond
Cons: Location, on beach
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice with a restaurant on the premises since the hotel is quite a long walk outside of town.
Cons: Horrible LED lights all over the room. Cold and blinding lights. The bed was very hard and the pillows soft. The heater had a big display that would shine brightly all night had I not covered it with a bag.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Lovely rooms, nicely designed with very good shower, and views. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Poor eating facilities, the bar’s environment was poor and menu uninviting.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean
Cons: Location, 3 rd floor walk up, many kids, loud guests and minimal staff
6.8 Good
Pros: Verry nice hotel, with excellent kitchen.
Cons: The location a little out of town, room not very big, breakfast very modest. Nasty coffee from a weak machine. A small beach with very dirty and stinky water. Hotel ok for a short stay passing through.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was much better than we expected. It’s a really good place to stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location. The hotel faces a small beach with a beautiful bay right in front. Very quiet. Everyone working there was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fine with delicious fresh Galego bread. The restaurant adjoining the hotel serves moderate priced snacks and meals. We casually mentioned how the toilet seat was low for my wife who had just had a knee operation. When we returned from our afternoon drinks in the restaurant downstairs to our surprise there was a special extension on the toilet seat. Someone had gone out to a local pharmacy to buy it. We were impressed to say the least.
Cons: The only defect for us was the size of the room, which was about 12 meters and a bit cramped. There are bigger rooms but perhaps ours was the only one left since we booked at the last minute. For only one night it was not that uncomfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location by the beach; friendly staff; good food; excellent value; fine base for exploring the area.
Cons: n/a

7.5 Good
Pros: good location, lovely area, easy access (if you have navigation, which I don´t), but still, it´s on the main road
Cons: The internet did not work, which a trouble for a REAL traveller, as you need to prepare accommodation and itinerary for the next day.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location in the heart of Camarinas. No frills, but excellent value for money and easy parking outside. Very friendly staff. Easy access to lovely walks along the coast. Several good restaurants to choose from within 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Cons: Our room overlooked the street and there was a bit of noise late at night, but nothing too bad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and generally excellent value for money. Best that I had along the Costa de Muerte.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and very friendly. We had a reservation for single beds in double rooms, but it turned out that most beds were matrimonial. The management of the hotel did all they could to change the rooms, and we and we ended up with a lot of single rooms, all for the same price. Excellent!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hosts, so helpful and friendly. They assisted us with transport and showed us around some of the beautiful Costa De Morte. Good breakfast included and nice rooms. Highly recommend

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, great host and as we had to leave early kindly provided a picnic breakfast and arranged taxi to bus stop
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast. Coffee with milk was very good. Lots of selection of cold meat & cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, breakfast pastries and cakes & Galician bread.
Cons: Flies in our room. The shower sprayed out into the bathroom & made the tiles slippery. The towels, although clean and soft, did not absorb well.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful - we’d sent our luggage to the wrong place by mistake and they came and collected us and the luggage! They were friendly and helpful. WiFi was good. Cooked a nice dinner just for us.
Cons: No view from our window and the room was small for a double - there are bigger ones with views facing the front.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The male owner who checked us in was fine, but not very friendly or welcoming. The female owner was friendlier and indeed the next morning when we were leaving early (before breakfast) she offered us coffee and freshly cooked chocolate croissant as we were leaving which was thoughtful.
Cons: While we had read the reviews of some of the rooms, we thought they can't all be bad ???? Our room was a fine size, BUT.. the window faced into rock and was therefore a little claustrophobic. The beds were comfortable, but the room smelt dusty..not musty, but dusty... perhaps not used a lot ? Our room was also beside the back of the kitchen so we had the constant hum on arrival of the refrigeration/air-conditioning units. Breakfast was not until 9 am, and when you're walking the Camino this is too late. Because the photos of the old stone building looked nice, we expected a nice 'rustic' experience, like other Casa's along the way, We were very disappointed. The pension is about 1.5km out of Muxia. The pension is over-priced
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Manuel the owner and his wife were absolutely lovely! They couldn’t do enough for me they were so kind. Manuel picked me up and dropped me off in Muxía because it was raining, they found out info for me to get the bus to Finisterre the next day. I was recovering from a tummy bug I caught on Camino so my appetite wasn’t very good - Manuel put together a platter of fruit for me and packed up the rest to take with me. I felt so well looked after it made such a difference. The room was cosy and comfortable and the food looked delicious had I had a bigger appetite. I can’t fault it - I recommend it 100%
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We felt like we were being welcomed by family is this lovely hotel with a great wine list and an amazing kitchen. Extremely comfortable, incredible hospitality and a great way to end your Camino.
Cons: Some may find the 1km walk into town an problem - especially after a long Camino - but there are taxis available.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely restaurant and friendly staff
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet room, pleasant owners. The kitchen at the first floor could be used by the guests
7.5 Good
Pros: A confortable room and quiet. Twenty minutes cross country pleasant walk from the center or a 10 minute walk along the road initially we thought would be an issue but it was not. Great breakfast too.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The breakfast on offer was wide and tasty. Freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly made coffee, fruits selection....our only highlight.
Cons: 1)The check-in staff speak no English. 2)The room options available were either next to road AC-440 which is the main road to/fro Muxía town or next to the kitchen which the smell of oil engulfed the room. We settled for the room next to the road which the staff assured that it will be very quiet at night. Unfortunately that's not the case. 3)We were assured by this staff that the WiFi works by just keying in the password. We tried and even asked him time again at the counter to either reset but he seems to be busy with other matters. Then, we need to send out an urgent email and pleaded that he focus on rectifying the WiFi connection. He look stressed. Then a lady strolled out of the kitchen asking him what's the problem, he replied just the WiFi. Then only when we protested that we will check out the next day, the lady who is the boss started to blame this as the WiFi connection of the area. If this is the case, why can't they be honest when we first Check-in and have remedial solution if emergency need arises. When we then reminded to the male boss that we will check out the next day, he again blame it on the WiFi connection. Then he wrote to Booking.com that our appalling experience is totally subjective. Based on the above facts, I think they should revisit the essence of hospitality, honesty(be up-front) and solution oriented towards guests.
