First impression at the front desk starts you off with a positive feeling. My husband and I like to break up our drive from Eastern Oregon to Corvallis and haved stayed here many times during the past three years and we truly have not had a bad experience. Friendly staff, good breakfast, very clean and comfortable rooms, pretty surroundings, quiet. I have yet to hear any 'neighbors' through the walls.

The location is perfect as it allows one to shop and dine without the hastle of the 2-lane traffic that can really get congested through Sisters. The space was too small for the bed types and furniture in the room. We barely had room to move around and continuously had to move chairs out of the way to access other parts of the room. The character and ambiance of the lodge can't be beat. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful. We enjoyed visiting fawns in the evening, and got some really sweet pictures of them. We enjoyed the outdoor hammocks and seating areas. The location is great. The beds were very comfortable although we were skeptical of them at first. The room was too small for the type of furnishings used. We barely had room to move around eachother - there were 3 of us in the room with 2 queen beds. One bed was in a small separate room and the other was in the main room with a large table and 2 chairs. I wouldn't want such small quarters... ... more
