Carmarthen Hotels

Excellent location and has parking in the back which is limited but good to be safe and out of the way Right on main road and could hear everything that drove past. We stayed during the recent snow storm so 5am gritting was happening and woke us up.

central location to Carmarthen we booked the master bedroom for 2 nights - everything was fine until the Saturday night. Room was immediately above the main bar - no chance of an early night with live music blasting away until 11.30pm - noise was horrendous !! Fried breakfast on the Saturday morning was cold

Excellent location for city centre. Breakfast in Humble Pies across the street. Convenient for train station and bus station. Good clean room and a big bath. Being a city centre hotel, it inevitably suffers from noise on Friday and Saturday especially. We were up quite late anyway and when we went to sleep we were tired so slept through it, but I know others were disturbed so perhaps not good for light sleepers. The master bedroom is especially bad because it is situated over the driveway that goes to the car park at the rear. You can therefore get very loud engine noises from cars, bikes or delivery vans early in the morning so not especially good for lie-ins.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Staff friendly, room comfortable, suitable for disabled.Good sitting area & bar. Checked in at 1-00pm advised reception I would be working late,and would want something to eat.Told kitchen closed at 9-30pm.I asked about sandwiches these are not available after 5-30pm

Convenient location in the town. Adequate private parking. Spacious bedrooms. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.

Ease of access to and from the hotel, no winding around town centre streets to get in and out, although only 5 minutes walk from the centre

The room was fine, good size and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't up to much for a vegetarian - no fresh fruit salad - maybe they would have made some if I'd asked for it! Enjoyed the swimming pool too.

just a same the spa and pool are being refurbished - they need to put a message on there website
