A beautiful location surrounded by glorious Irish countryside and farm animals as well as 2 lovely dogs. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Professionally done but with personal attention. We were given a tour of the farm. They sat and chatted with us. An level of choice of products for breakfast. The best quality I had on my entire trip to Ireland. The soda bread was moist. We collected eggs the day before. The wife is a horse women. They rebuilt the house themselves with master carpentry. I would gladly return.
Cons: No downside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best breakfast and dinner ever! The black pudding was exceptional. Helen and Christopher treated us like friends or family.
Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone who rates a B&B in Ireland raves about how wonderful the hosts are. I won't be any different. Lovely people, both very anxious to help in any way they can. What was different about them was their generously sharing information about the farm itself (the animal care, the distinctions about the different farms in Ireland (which to Americans, all look the same but they are not!). In our short stay I learned more about Ireland and life in Ireland than I had in all of my previous stays in that wonderful country. The property's surrounding area was stunning countryside, and about a one hour's traffic-less drive to Dublin Airport. The farm itself is right out of a magazine - a perfect mix of practical authenticity and charming style. I didn't get my first choice of nights for this place, and I can see why it is so popular. It will always be my 'last night's stay' in Ireland from now on. I can't wait to go back. Thank you!
Cons: Absolutely nothing. Hosts are caring, careful people who have generous hearts and are anxious to engage at any level guests want. I would not change a single thing about this place.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ross Castle B&B in Mountnugent was a real treat! Wonderful hosts and the grounds were lovely. This old castle tower contained an eclectic array of decor to add charm and whimsy. The rooms were comfortable and gave us a feel of the old world. We stayed in the O'Reilly Room and it was spacious with our own ensuite. Very comfortable! We also attended a banquet with other guests and were treated to quite a feast. The food (dinner and breakfast) were outstanding. Surprisingly, out of the 10 guests, 6 of us were from Wisconsin (and none of us couples knew one another). Pretty crazy considering we were in another country and in a very remote rural area; small world! I highly recommend a stay here.
Cons: Difficult to locate, GPS did not assist. With that being said; it was part of the adventure to get there. What an experience driving the rural roads.

Pros: Location was fantastic right beside one of the oldest megalithic sites in Europe, beautiful countryside, great atmosphere
Cons: Nothing that was really the fault of the site just the usual problems in rural Ireland of patchy phone signal on some networks and a bit of a trek to nearest shops and pub unless you want to drive everywhere
8.0 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed, clean facilities, other guests were lovely. Very nice staff.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was so quiet. Surrounded by nature. The staff was so friendly and so helpful. Loved being so close to the Cairns. We got up early enough to have them to ourselves. The bed was comfortable. The room was immaculately clean. It felt so much more like the “real Ireland” and not the commercialized version.
Cons: One bathroom for so many people in the house made showers a little complicated. There Were bathrooms next door for the campers though and the kids thought that was fun to do. We forgot about not having towels but that was on us. I knew about it ahead of time and simply forgot. It was great and we would definitely stay again.

Pros: Mark is a great host, thanks for having us! We enjoyed our stay with you a lot! The room was big and the beds comfortable. There are several areas to relax. We had some nice conversations with our host who gave us good recommendations where to dine. The car could be parked in front/ around the house. Internet reception was good. A good place to stay!
Cons: No mark/ name at the house to be sure that you are at the right place. A sign might help, even if it is at the front door. :-)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We took the family room. We all enjoyed the stay, and Mark was very kind and a good host. Good value for the money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mark was lovely. The rooms were spacious and bright. Just what these weary travelers needed. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! Lucca (?) was adorable. If we plan a return visit, this is only place we would stay.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: our host Marc was friendly and helpful and made a great breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mark was really welcoming and went out of his to help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly placed to give us head-start for our driving trip to the west the next morning, avoiding the bustle of Dublin. Mark was very friendly and welcoming despite our flight being an hour late and our arrival time much later than planned. He'd lit the fire in the sitting room and spent time having a good chat with us before we went to bed. He tailor-made a breakfast dish to our (vegetarian) needs and made us feel most welcome throughout our stay.
Cons: Not exactly a complaint, but Mark needs some new jokes. My husband, who's quite a joke collector, knew the punchlines to almost all his jokes! They very much enjoyed sharing the craic together.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly Irish welcome, made to feel very much at home. NZ news especially put on whilst we were having breakfast.
Cons: All was excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mark is the greatest host! The house is nice, big and clean in lovely countryside. Mark even offered us lift to pub next village what I found super handy! We had to leave very early it the morning and even though Mark woke up before us and made amazing breakfast for us! Wish we had more time to explore the area.. Do not hesitate and book your stay

Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and was able to get a gluten free full Irish. Bed room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Great location for us only 5 from where we were going. The bar was lovely and looked like the place to be on a weekend.
Cons: A few maintenance problems, the lift would stop working and make funny noises when it did work. The TV in the room had no reception and their was a broken down shot outside the room in the roof garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food is amazing
Cons: Air con needed
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful, bar and bar food were both really nice, hotel in good location.
Cons: The room which was supposedly a suite had a carpet that was badly stained in a number of places, and the tv signal or tuning or whatever was unwatchable. Neither bed side lamp had a working lightbulb. The guy at reception, who was super friendly and helpful did get a replacement bulb for me for one of them v. quickly. There was tea/coffee, but no milk in room, and the toiletries (shampoo/shower gel) were more than half empty. Also the room was very small for a ‘suite’. I was there on my own so it was fine, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a couple looking for a suite.

Cons: I cannot fault anything..
4.5 Okay
Pros: Good Location near the train station.
Cons: I had a very damp bedroom in the basement. Opposite a smoking room. I always request No Smoking room. The other side was a car park were people could see into my bedroom so I had to keep blinds down all the time.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A nice welcome and conversation
Cons: The property is squeezed in next to railway line, and is a bit of a jumble of levels and rooms. Fine for me but may not be for everyone.
