Pros: The most beautiful grounds I've ever seen at a pousada. Everywhere you look is a visual treat. Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff who will organize excursions and massages for you. Good outdoor restaurant. Cats and dogs in residence.

Cons: The location was a bit further removed from the beach than we would have liked, and challenging for Uber drivers to reach by car. (The upside of being on the hill was the wonderful breeze in the upstairs rooms.) The shampoo wasn't replenished after the first day and there was no conditioner or beach towels, so buy your own in town.

Pros: Very cozy, nice decoration and very very lovely staff. Great pool, food is very good also!

Cons: The only thing we didnt like was the bed canopy, was uncomfortable. And also the minibar was not refilled, so we had to ask for water all the time.

Pros: Great place to stay and enjoy beach atmosphere with excellent service, staff and accomodation!

Cons: The noise. There are no glass windows in the apartment, only a wooden structure that covers the light but not the surrounding wind noise. We stayed in apartment number 4 and we had the bad surprise of having the A/C motor right behind our bedroom wall, making it impossible for us to sleep. However the staff offered us another room instead.

Cons: Room next to the dune, a little noisy from the buggys driving by during the day

Pros: The hotel is nicely located between sea and sand dunes and has a nice outdoor area and restaurant. We very much liked that the hotel owner supports the community by helping stray dogs and cats. They have a few adorable and very friendly dogs in the hotel and it was great to see how well they are taken care of. We definitely had a great time there!

Cons: We had some problems in the beginning as the booked room category has not been available

Pros: The housekeepers were very nice and hospitality.

Pros: It felt like being part of a family. Great welcome when i moved in, great goodbye when i was brought back to the airport. Makes you feel special. The facilities were great, i really found a home.

Pros: Very chilled owners Luca and Giovanni who are very easy to get on with and very outgoing. They will literally do anything to please you and it’s just so customer focused, and so laid back! Really added to the experience! Will defo return! Also hot showers are a bonus! Hehe

Pros: This hostel is super clean and people working here are kind and helpful. We also had nice nutritious breakfast and internet connection was working well. Definitely worth the money !

Cons: It was little bit too bright in the room despite the blinders but nothing which good sleeping mask cannot solve.

Pros: The staff spoke perfect English, and they are so nice and welcoming. they take care of you the whole staying. if it means recommendation about where to go around, where you shouldn't go and transportation to you your next destination. P.s : the breakfast was amazing!

Pros: Amazing breakfast! Crocrobeach beach restaurant within 200 meters walking, really nice facilities and infrastructure! Best value for money, this is probably one of the best beaches of Fortaleza. Would stay here again.

Cons: I wouldn’t walk around at night time and also avoid while walking on the streets carrying items that might call attention such as watches, jewelry and phones. The hotel is sort of isolated but nothing that u can’t manage with Taxi, which by the way have a pretty good price. The gym could use an update. There was no coffee or tea in the room.

Pros: The room deluxe was super beautiful new and big! The beach area is beautiful and with enough places to sit! The beach is nice!

Cons: The breakfast is not good enough and they start cleaning the kitchen while we are still eating and we can smell the cleaning products! The food at the pool is too expensive for what you get compared to other places and the restaurant area needs renovation! It is not in line with the rest of the hotel that is super beautiful!

Pros: Perfect spot to relax on the beach and great kitesurfing in front of the pousada!

Cons: Pousada is about 1 km away from the center of Cumbuco so at night you have to take a taxi.

Pros: This place is absolutely amazing! It’s completely different world in there! I couldn’t find one bad thing to say about it. Very clean. Staff is extremely helpful! Atmosphere relaxing! Food amazing. Perfect location, as it’s right on the beach and the Cumbuco town is only 1km away. Thanks to Deidre for looking after us. She was very nice and helpful! Definitely will be back for more kite surfing and definitely will be staying in Vila again.

Pros: Lovely clean room with great airco. We had a nice deck with two comfortable chairs. We stayed at Duro Garden. Duro Beach is just accross the street, you can use facilities from both accomodations. Lovely pool at premises Duro Garden even better pool at Duro Beach with seaview and great restaurant which serves a fantastic breakfast. No complaints about anything. We had a lovely stay.

Cons: we only stayed one night... would have loved to stay longer ;) nice combo to do Jericoacoara and Cumbuco

Cons: It is not a 5 star hotel. Had to move from one room to other due to maitress broken, new room AC not working properly loud very loud music on speakers outside from 6am to 12 pm. Not only these, but in summary not a 5 star hotel.

Pros: The location is incredible. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The entertainment and the monitors were very professional and experienced. The food was reasonable and mostly the resort was very clean and well preserved.

Cons: The most inconvenient was that the Wi-Fi was only available at the lobby. A huge resort, supposed to be 5 starts, but unable to get any wi-fi outside the lobby was disappointing. The rooms were very spacious but need a good upgrade. The restaurant close to the pool, was constantly cooking or barbecuing, so the smell of food all day by the pool was a bit inconvenient and annoying.

Pros: Food pretty good but not the best we've had in Brazil. Staff decent. Big bed, good toiletries. Safe hotel. If you have to stay in fortaleza for a night I would still recommend the hotel.

Cons: Currently there is construction work on the beach to increase the sand and pedestrianise the road, that has now extended to in front of the hotel. Loud noises from trucks until late into the night and unable to use the beach directly in front of the hotel. Apparently this will complete in August 2020. Looks like we just managed to use the hotel and beach until the very last moment. We also stayed 5 days before and the beach was great despite the construction work making its way towards us. There is now a big pipe pumping sand ashore that is laying across the entire length of the main beach in fortaleza, and although we managed to find an area without construction to enjoy I would unfortunately have to recommend to people to not stay in fortaleza for the meantime as there is no safe beach to use. Also note that this isn't advertised on the Internet elsewhere. I'm sure it will look great once finished but it is a shame that the entire beach is closed rather than in stages. Also, to note, as of the time we were there, there was no oil from the recent argentina ship spill in Brazil. If you have to stay, I recommend a room away from the sea at the hotel. Also just as a last point, room smelt of tabaco on our second visit.

Cons: Having stayed in other hotels of the same chain, I can say with confidence that this one does not do the others justice. In our room the fone was broken, I had to go to reception to ask for extra pillows and order room service. The food was cold. The furniture eas old and in need of renovation. And when I needed to use the table to work I discovered the chair was breaking in the middle (I weight little more than 70kg). The result was a minor back pain.

Pros: Very close to beach, stayed 3 nights and a further night after Jeri, both rooms really similar and clean, best English speaking staff we have had in Brazil, breakfast is amazing, nice balcony, comfy big bed, big fridge and wardrobe, very good WiFi.

Cons: A little bit noisy but expected when your on the busy beach strip so wrong area to book a hotel in if you want complete peace, nothing else.

Pros: Villa Mayor is a wonderful little oasis in the heart of the downtown area. The staff are very accommodating and helped us with late checkouts, car parking and were always on hand to help us. We loved having a sundowner by the pool in the evening.

Pros: The place had a relaxing and friendly atmosphera. The pernonel were all very polite and helpeful. The buffet breakfast was very diverse for choices and having the meals around the pool was like being home. The buildingas were impecably maintained and the decoration very european mediterranic like. The bed very comfortable( matress and pillows).

Cons: Not having a lift. Because we were with a friend that for health reasons could not use the stairs we missed the happy hours every day which was on the top of a building by stairs.

Cons: An event taking place in the rooftop conference centre went on until after 2.30am. The soundproofing of this conference centre and the outside location is non existent and the floors underneath were so noisy sleep was impossible. I had to move rooms at 2am. I appreciate parties and events are very lucrative for hotels but should they be at the expense of the quality of stay for the Hotel guest?

Pros: Sensational breakfast. We took it on the terrace overlooking the beach. Beautiful rooftop pool and bar. Great honeymoon package, plus bonus little cake and gift for my wife's birthday. Free welcome drink! And use of the jacuzzi and sauna with our room type. Wish we'd stayed longer!

Cons: The administrator at the begining did´t make us feel welcome,though at the end, he was very helpful and over the top to any of our needs! It lacked a better lounge area with hammocs or similar.

Cons: Room doors are see through - Door has buil-in foldeable wooden blinds which still leaves a small gap between each blade when closed - so the AC doesnt keep its temperature and noise travels between rooms. Hotel should invest in new doors. Also, bathrooms ammenities like shampoo and better soap would be nice.

Pros: Bada Pousada the Pearl of Cumbuco. Was there with my wife from the 21 until the 30 May. I believe that there, we had spend our best vacation yet ever. The owners Marco and Renata give us the feeling that we are not just some Hotel guests, no we where treated from day 1 as if we where long term friends staying at their House The hotel Is located 5 min to Cumbuco Center and 2 min walk to the beach where you feel like Johnny Depp will sail ashore with his Black-Pearl any minute. The Hotel Bada Pousada has his very own charm and beauty with Palm-trees, exotic flowers and fruit plants. A swimming pool and an nice open Bar where Breakfast was served till 10:00 am The Room was very clean and comfortable with Tv, Refrigerator, air-conditioned, always fresh towels and bathroom accessories. The only thing that was a pain, where the mosquitoes. But the off-spray is not far, since a pharmacy is only 3 min walk from Bada and it’s open till late. Apart of the rich served breakfast, you could also chose from different local fruits and freshly pressed juices. Scrambled eggs and bacon where served hot on demand and not to forget that the highlight of all was the home backed cakes by Renata herself. Yammy!! We already reserved a room for our next vacation in June 2020. Just can’t wait to be there agin. A big Thank you to the owners because you get a lot more than for what you pay which is hospitality.

Cons: The room looked like old and repairs were needed like the door was not very well installed and the wind made noise at night. The restaurant should have more vegetarian options it was very poor of healthy food. The pool area was very old and the gym impossible to use because due the old equipments. There are no sustainable practices at all.

Pros: I lost my cell phone when it fell out of my pocket. The front desk staff were super helpful, intelligent, fast, creative, and energetic in helping me get it back. Also helpful making restaurant suggestions, and just general friendliness. A wonderful hotel.

Pros: Hotel is very close to Centro de Eventos, where I attended an event. This is a typical IBIS, comfortable for short stay, with vital facilities and no luxuries, clean. Breakfast was very rich and dinner was great. Lobby bar was a good place to chill after working meetings. Shopping mall with many food and drink options is 5 mins driving or some 6R$ Uber / Taxi away. Staff was very welcoming and helped a lot, although with various command of English. Overall--great place to stay if you have a business in this part of Fortaleza.

Cons: Couple of caveats. This is hotel close to Centro de Eventos, not beaches, and it takes some 20 mins to get to beach. There is another IBIS close to beach. The neighborhood is looking fine, but as usual there are risks, so follow the advice of local staff--we were told it is safe to walk to Centro de Eventos, but not to Shopping mall.

Pros: The bedroom is extra comfy, the bed is really good and the curtain really blocks the sun light.
