Cons: Owners out of town, their daughter was there with her 3 1/2 yr old. When we were being shown around the child was hitting our legs with her doll (big baby) unfortunately the mother was not paying attention and did not make her stop until we did.
Pros: Great breakfast; friendly hosts; comfy bed in huge, beautiful room; nice shower; good wifi; water bottles on night stand
Cons: Some noisy trucks on the street early in the morning
Pros: My friends and I could not have been happier with our stay. The Inn is lovely and the owners were very welcoming and helpful. We cannot wait to return for another stay.
I love the history associated with the place. Karen cooked us an excellent breakfast and made everyone warmly welcome. I plan to return!
Pros: My daughter and I felt safe, comfortable and welcome during our stay.
Pros: Very charming, tons of character and lots of history. Karin and Gary (owners) treated us like family. Within waking distance to cute downtown shops. Definitely would stay there again if in area.
Pros: Very friendly service with a personal touch. Very clean.
This is place is a DIAMOND! Even my 9 yr. old enjoyed his stay and can't wait to return! This place is very impressive and full of true southern hospitality! Thank you Hall Place guests and staff for our wonderful experience and for adding to our memories!
Pros: Great location, spotless, friendly staff, full of charm, and character!
Cons: I have 'NO' complaints what's so ever!
Hall Place Bed and Breakfast is a great choice for a stay in Glasgow. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and mountain biking, and free perks include continental breakfast and WiFi.
Pros: The people were awesome. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: Shower head so low
Pros: Super clean, nice and shiny/- supremely comfortable; great shower. Friendly staff-/ even got a courtesy call to check on us.
Cons: Biscuits on buffet were hard tack , and I'm just a biscuit lover so it was a bummer-/ but this is a small thing/- it was not earth shattering! I had cereal instead!

Pros: We stayed in the rose room which (private entry) which was very nice. No one works there at night, so we used the living room at night. It was quiet and comfy. Car broke down and we moved to the greer room. This room has a sofa and minifridge. Very nice
Cons: Mattress in the rose room needs to be replaced. Bottom sheets in both rooms became untucked with both beds. Other than that it was great! I would definatly stay again. We didn't have a car on the last day we were offered a ride to the store. Very nice!!
Pros: Old country in with fantastic antique charm. Staff was very friendly, Gary did a great job with beakfast and keeping the place ready to receive guests very comfortably.
Cons: The room needed one more chair. Although comfortable, the antique victorian couch just wasn't quite enough.
The amenities, staff support, friendliness and character of the building were very special. The breakfast was very tasty and freshly prepared. The stay made you feel a part of the family.
Pros: Friendliness of the proprietor without being overly obtrusive.
Cons: Closing upstairs door to stairs with luggage in hands. Television in room could be better located for viewing.
Pros: I liked everything about Main Street B&B. Spacious clean rooms, beautifully appointed, good breakfast, friendly owners.
This was my first experience at a B and B, and I really enjoyed it. The innkeeper was friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was good, and I enjoyed meeting other guests at breakfast. The house is charming and very comfortable. I would highly recommend Main Street B and B.
Pros: The house and rooms were very nicely decorated. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom had nice modern fixtures. Gary was very friendly and the breakfast was good.
charming b&b. Very clean. Breakfast is much less than typical b&b fare
Pros: charming place
Cons: rather skimpy breakfasts
1818 Main Street Bed and Breakfast is a great choice for a stay in Glasgow. Free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking.
Cons: The train at night was a bit much... it seemed like 20 trains passed in the night, the tracks are right outside the Inn. Very hard to sleep through that noise.
Pros: Karen & Gary were excellent hosts. Everything was well kept and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect for a visit to Mammoth Cave. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.
Enjoy your visit to Park City with a stay at Grand Victorian Inn. Guests can keep active with onsite mountain biking, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast daily between 8:30 AM and 10 AM.
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Bed and pillows were very nice and down alternative comforters on bed. Breakfast was very good. Sausage patties, eggs, waffles, yogurt, pastries, cereal, hard boiled eggs and biscuits and gravy each day. We ate a big breakfast there and weren't hungry until 4 or 5 in the afternoon then we went to supper. So we ended up only having to buy 1 meal a day. This hotel is a steal for the price.
Cons: Pool was a bit small but our kids liked it because they made lots of friends to play with because of the small proximity.
Pros: This motel was close to the freeway and close to Mammoth Caves...but under construction, hot breakfast was unavailable due to the construction and the free wifi did not work. Rooms were dated but clean. In a pinch, this place is okay.
Pros: The people were helpful. My brother had passed away & I spent days making arrangements, cleaning & dispersing his belongings. They helped me carry boxes (for sorting) up to my room & let me check in early & extend my stay at the same rate.
Cons: The wifi was glitch-y I needed to use it to find out things involved with my brothers death, his vehicle, donation centers, etc. Sometimes was unable to get on the net. My computer said it was the router.
Pros: The place was quiet - we saw Amish buggies driving by on the 2 lane road out front. No places to party nearby, just a nice clean room to sleep, shower and get back on the road. They were pet friendly, too!
Cons: The only room available was a smoking room.
It was OK. No amenities.
Cons: Small bathroom
Pros: It was very clean and we enjoyed the pool. Location and price was great for our trip to Mammoth Cave National Park
Not a bad place. Located right off the interstate. Very few places to eat. Safe enough for a single night stay.
Pros: The hotel staff seemed friendly enough during the one and only time I interacted with them (at check-in). Their debit reader didn't work, so I had to go to the gas station across the street and withdraw cash to pay.
Cons: The cleaning solution in the room was strong. In fact, it made my family ill. Had to buy some air fresheners just to get through the night.
We arrived late in the evening, checked in, went out to eat, slept, showered and left. It served our needs great - clean, safe, efficient. Good price!
Pros: I had read reviews that indicated the rooms were very clean - they weren't kidding! Super-clean! Nothing fancy, but clean, functional, and just fine for the price.
Cons: If you're looking for a &full service& hotel, this isn't it. But if you are looking for efficient, clean, and functional - in and out& - this is a good choice.
Clean, mom and pop operation
Pros: Clean. Friendly staff
Cons: Not many places to eat
Pros: Off the beaten path and quiet. The owners are nice people and all the guests were friendly as well. We loved this place and the price. It's an older motel that has been updated and it is clean.
had 6 grandkids with us so the pool was an added feature seeing our trip was in July!
Pros: Location and friendliness
Cons: did not have a microwave and or fridge.
I'm a business traveler and it was my first time staying at Bryce Inn. I have found my regular stopping place. I was pleasantly surprised at Bryce Inn. Looking at the outside, you can tell it's an older motel, but the room was wonderful. It had a big flatscreen TV, newer looking carpet, very comfortable beds, and it was so quiet. It was probably the best sleep I've had away from home. Although the bath area is rather small, it's very functional and arranged well (looks original but shines like new). The entire room was neat and spotless. I met the actual owners the next morning and they are very nice people. I didn't stay long enough to swim, but the hotel had a large pool that looked nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling, for a nice home away from home stop.
Pros: Quiet, comfortable beds, all necessary items available.
We absolutely love this place. We always stay at Bryce Inn when we are in the area. It is so convenient to Mammoth Cave. The rooms are immaculate, and look recently remodeled. The mattresses are so comfy, and the room was so fresh and clean. The owners are hands on and take such good care of the property. They make you feel so welcome. This place is nicer than bigger chain hotels we have stayed in. We travel a lot and highly recommend Bryce Inn.
Pros: How clean it was and location is great.
When visiting Smiths Grove, Bryce Inn is a great choice to consider. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: The motel was OK. The issue was that the hotel was listed as being in Park City KY but was in fact in Glasgow KY. We had to drive 22 miles out of our way to get there. Very aggravating.
Pros: Front desk staff was awesome. It was a discrete stay and the staff assured us that it we be that way. What else can you ask for. Top of the line rating!

Pros: The price . staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrieved very late in the nite and the staff informed us that it would be ok if we checked out past the check out time. The room was big and clean. will definitely stay there again
Cons: not really
Pros: Cost,cleanliness, excellent staff
Pros: Very clean and very polite staff, all for a great price.
Cons: No. I will return.
Cons: My wife and I were both bitten by bed bugs..We have been through the bedbug thing before so we know exactly what it looks like. Thank god we never put our suitcases anywhere near the bed. We are praying we did not bring them home with us.
Pros: The owner was the epitomy of friendly hospitality! He took an older hotel and gave it TLC and made it feel very welcoming.
Pros: It had the best price in the area, was clean, quiet, and fast to check in and check out. It had a nice new flat screen TV. Matresss was very old but still slept well.
Cons: We acknowledged the place would be old but it seems that much in the rooms has not been changed in over 20 years For two stars, I expected there to be a bed skirt, updated comforter, and mattress that seems less than 10 years old.
Cons: Room was very dark and musty smelling. But, you get what you pay for.
Pros: Extremely clean room, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The non-smoking room really was non-smoking - a rarity in this part of the country. A great value for the money!
Very old property, but was clean and adequate for one night stay.
Pros: Motel was quite even while full.
Cons: A/C was high not powered.
Pros: Management (owners) took great care of the motel. They obviously care about the appearance and cleanliness of their motel.
When visiting Horse Cave, Horse Cave Motel is a great choice to consider. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.

Pros: Convenient location to restaurants and tourist attractions. Friendly staff.
Cons: Pool was not open. Breakfast was minimal. Dead bugs in window.
Cons: The pool water did not look 100% clean.
Pros: Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee, nice bed,
Cons: the floor
Pros: Very clean and newly Updated.
Cons: Parking lot was removed from hotel and you had to walk a good distance to your car.
Pros: Overall good & worth the price..
Cons: The room was not clean. There was mold on the tile in the shower. It looked like ice cream had melted down the side of the night stand. There were cob webs. One of the outlets did not work. Beds were not made correctly. Glad we only spent one night here.
Pros: Good location.
Pros: Close to Mammoth Cave National park
Cons: They first put us in a smoking room even though non smoking was specified. They moved us to a non smoking room but at 2am someone was trying to get into the room. I called the desk and they told me it showed vacant, mumbled something else and HUNG UP!!
Pros: Pool and close to Mammoth Cave. A/C was great. Night time lady at desk was nice and took care of the issues.
Cons: Dirty underwear in the dresser. Broken toilet seat. Dirty floor. Not enough towels when we got there. Wifi information card in room was wrong. Food was sparse for breakfast and very cold or stale. Front desk morning lady was rude both days.
Pros: Location is close to Mammoth Cave.
Cons: We found roaches in our room. Pool water looked murky.
Pros: Bathroom was all completely redone and new. Convenient for out travel needs. Not many places to eat but BUCKY'S BBQ was within 2 mi and it was the best Pulled Pork I've ever had.
Cons: Continental breakfast needed a few more options.
Cons: Worn out mattress, musty, moldy smell in the room.
Pros: location, straight shot to mammoth caves, 20 minutes.
Cons: have stayed in Comfort inns and suites this is the worst one. room are old not very clean. cleaning staff sitting out front smoking, rooms not yet cleaned. waited for room. Staff very unfriendly. Manager refused to give me receipt as I did not book direct
Pros: The staff
Pros: Clean room and hotel, high ceilings in room, indoor pool, and informative staff.
Cons: Bathroom door would stick. Hard to close. Rm 121.
Pros: Very nice unit, would go back to same hotel again.
Pros: Very pleasant stay. Pleasant staff.
Pros: Room was clean, staff friendly, free breakfast excellent
Cons: No where to hang out other than your room or small lobby (ie: no lounge or patio) however we were at the hotel basically for sleeping and spent most of our time sight-seeing so this was not a problem for us.
Pros: The pool was great for the kiddos, breakfast was also good & location was perfect. Was perfect for a family get away.
Pros: The room was huge and the ceilings were really high! Comfortable bed and nice hot shower with good pressure and a good breakfast! Can't complain one bit!
Cons: Checkin was a little slow but not a big deal. The person checking us in was friendly so this was minor.
Cons: We picked this property for the pool, Paid in advance. Pool was down for repairs. The sign outside was still advertising a heated pool. Told-too bad. Will not recommend or return. Teenage children very upset.
Pros: This hotel is 5 mins away from the Mammoth Cave National Park. Highly recommended to travelers. Room is very clean and quiet.
Pros: I'll give credit where it's due: the room was clean and the hotel was close to Mammoth Cave National Park. That's about all I can say I liked.
Cons: This hotel hasn't seen a decorator (much less a remodel) since the 1970s. My room did have a color TV, although it was the old school square box, and A/C, although it was a window unit from Best Buy. There was literally one employee running the hotel's front desk, the on-property gun range, the winery, and waitressing the restaurant. Not one employee each of those places, just one employee. Speaking of the restaurant, the food was passable at best but the view was top notch.
Pros: Friendly staff. Okay view only at the dining area. Clean rooms. Comfy bed.
Cons: Not a terrible place, just extremely understaffed and much needed renovations. It took three hours for anyone to get their dinner, many guests actually left before their dinner arrived and our dinner consisted of two burgers with french fries. The rooms are very clean however...1) All the walls are concrete with no sound barriers. We could hear everything, even the maintenance crew at 2am in the morning having a conversation in the hallway. 2) The doors have no weather stripping so when guests leave their rooms, the doors slam on the concrete and are very loud. This could be a simple fix. It kept my husband up all night with people coming in and out of their rooms. 3) Since the doors have no weather stripping, there was light from the hallway around the entire door, with about an inch visible gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. Not a huge deal but just needs some work. 4) The thermostat had two settings: hot and hot. AC did not work. We didn't call anyone since we were only staying the one night. We slept with just the sheet. 5) Blinds were ragged and there were no draperies. I felt very exposed at night because there were huge gaps where people could see into the room. We were on the first floor with part of the resort just outside our window. Again, this could be an easy fix. Overall, this was not worth the $110 we spent for one night at a "resort." Not sure how all the reviews gave this place 4 stars... Maybe with some tender love and care, this place could be a great getaway.
Pros: Great location and beautiful views.
Cons: The place looks like it's seen better days. Quaint and homie feel. Could use a major renovation. The staff was nice but they served no breakfast claiming there was no power in the kitchen. They said they couldn't even make coffee and no coffee in the room. A little over priced for what you get. It's a shame they haven't kept it in better condition. I'd probably stay in Cave City in the future.
Pros: The view the area and scenery
Cons: We didn't like seeing the place run down. No pool or sauna restaurant wasn't open. We were there 30 thirty years ago and it's really run down sad to see. Nothing for the family to do.
Pros: Food was good
Cons: Room was filthy dirty and everything closes at 6pm
Pros: not much
Cons: the place is a study of deferred maintainance, the food is terrible, the staff generally nice, they charged $2.25 for ice which should be free
Pros: Beautiful country setting. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was huge. Very quiet.
Cons: No food service. Drove 6 miles to get to Mexican restaurant in Cave City (El Mazatlan). It was excellent, service great, food great.
Pros: The staff was great. Everyone was polite and very helpful. Very close to the national park. Good wine. Food was decent. The new owners have put a lot of work in to improving the resort. Very reasonably priced.
Cons: The room smelled and the beds were uncomfortable. Everything was kind of outdated.
Pros: Employees are the best thing going for this place.
Cons: The hotel is a diamond in the rough. The owners are working on it.
Pros: For $79 a night it was a great place to stay. Ask for a view of the back side of the building. You can see the rolling hills of KY. It was quiet and clean. Staff was friendly. I was glad I booked their instead of the hotels in Cave City with no view.
Cons: Needs some remodeling
Park Mammoth Resort features a winery and a golf course. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out Lookout Restaurant, which serves southern cuisine and is open for breakfast and dinner.
Pros: The room was well appointed and clean. The breakfast was decent.
Cons: Even though our end of the hotel was no smoking, the smell of smoke came in through the bathroom air vent. And the alarm clock was broken. Not that we needed it. But if you are going to have one in the room, it should work.
The other bad thing is that there are no elevators so lots of fun lugging all our things up and down stairs and then down the hallway (no carts either).
Pros: Comfortable room, large mini-fridge with microwave, nice pool, wifi, breakfast was mostly pre-packaged but better than fast-food.
Cons: Room was a bit run-down, but clean and comfortable.
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Wasn't enough coffee in the room. Attendant was a little rude at the desk.
Pros: Staff were very friendly and efficient.
Room was huge. It was generally clean.
Cons: Dropping a "No Smoking" card on the desk does not change a smoking room into a non-smoking room. Hotel did not tell me that they could not honor my non-smoking room request. I am allergic to tobacco, so this could have been a bigger problem.
Shower curtain smelled of mildew.
Air conditioner was too small to cool the entire room, meaning that one side of the bed was freezing while the other was sweltering. There was only one nightstand.
Furniture appeared worn and moisture damaged.
Safe was inoperable.

Cons: It's a motel with outdoor entrances, so I adjusted my expectations accordingly. Wasn't expecting The Peninsula. The room was recently painted with some updated furniture and a "germ free" remote, but that's where the good ends.
The room smelled musty, so we opened the door for 30 minutes to air it out. As if on cue, someone started smoking outside the room, so we had to close the door. Then the toilet broke and I had to lift the back of it off to flush it manually inside the tank. And there was no hot water, so we skipped showers. My kids were happy. I was not.
The breakfast was fine, what you'd expect for this sort of hotel. Seating was limited so we stood by the brochure rack.
Manager didn't ask how my stay was (terrible) and I was in a hurry, so I just tossed the keys on the counter and left, never to return to a Quality Inn again. Should have paid the extra $20 to stay in a Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn. Lesson learned; sorry family.

Pros: I was traveling with two small kids, they really enjoyed the pool.
Cons: I felt like the rooms should really be a lot cleaner.
Pros: coffee was ready early
Cons: room was filthy
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful....very relaxing stay
Cons: 1st room no heat. 2cnd room door wouldn't open. went to office twice on foot in 28 degree weather, door still wouldn't open. 3rd room ok.will never go back!!!!
Pros: The front desk clerk was very personable and polite.
Cons: The appearance was bad. Broken glass in the main door to the lobby. No soap in the lobby bathroom. The soap bar wrapper by the sink in the room looked as if a mouse had chewed it open. There was a tool to pick up litter in the room. Spider webs on tool.
Pros: Nice location/neighborhood, bed was comfortable, clean sheets, good price, big TV (they could have spent that money on paint and carpet cleaning), shower water pressure was good. Guessing they use water softener as my hair and skin was super soft!
Cons: For the price, not a horrible place to stay. Room 109 has dingy carpet, some peeling wallpaper, bathtub/bathroom could use some fresh paint, and new surround, tub drain is clogged, and toilet flushes slowly.
Pros: Friendly service. Nice location.
Cons: The Air conditioner could not keep the room cool in the heat of the day. The bathtun drain was clogged.
Pros: If you are looking for a clean room with a comfortable bed for a great price...this is it!!
Cons: No amendites...if you forgot shampoo or toothpaste you were out of luck. But in their defense... They had just taken over this hotel. So this is something I'm sure they'll correct very soon.
Pros: Handicapped accessible room
Staff friendliness and willingness to help
Cons: Lack of amenities included (esp wireless access, which was extra). But that is what one would expect in exchange for the low rates.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Good price and great location only 20 mts to cave city and we had not trouble finding it, plus the restaurants were just across the street.
Cons: The bed was a bit unconfortable, too hard for my taste.
