Breakfast was good, the rest of the restaurants were below par and half were closed. Room was big and clean apart from ants all around the bar TV area. Pool area nice but constant interruptions from staff trying to sell one thing or another ruined it, the staff were all pleasant and only doing their job so this is a management decision to try and squeeze as much cash as possible from customers. When you pay $550 per night you'd think they would be happy with that! And when other guess strike up a conversation with the problems on resort you know it's not just you.
Half the restaurants were closed, items on menu not available, all inclusive but had to ask multiple times for basics, wifi useless unless you pay to upgrade. Constantly pestered by staff for spa, photo and vacation upgrades, one day they had market stalls around the pool trying to sell more items. I went to relax and this was the most un-relaxing vacation I have ever had. I hired a jeep to escape during the day, not good when you pay top dollar on a resort.
Staff, accommodation and location
All the restaurants, the food was very disappointg, except for barefoot restaurant. Especially Eleanor's Fish
Food, staff and hospitality were good. Night entertainment was great
Bathroom in the room we stayed in needed upgraded. Tiles looked old and dirty. Mixed matched colours, a cockroach was seen in the bathroom at night.
The room services were excellent and the food was great
The cats, reasonable no of restaurants and decent pool close to the beach!
Given its 6 star rating (by the resort) I would only give it 3.5 star. Took 1 hour wait to check in, our bags were ‘rifled through’ before they got to our room & overall service was incredibly slow, no pool service and difficult to get a sun lounge lounger. We only had a 3 day stay to ‘test the water’ and pleased I did would not return
