Boar’s Head Resort is located southwest of the airport, a 20min drive to the resort. The most convenient form of transportation from the airport to the hotel is to either drive, take a taxi, or use rideshare services that are available from within the airport. Public transportation, such as using a shuttle, is inefficient as you will have to endure the wait times before other passengers board. There is a rental car center at Charlottesville Albemarle International Airport, where you can get a car rental to drive to the resort.

In the event that your furry friend gets overheated and wants to go for a puppy paddle, there are also two nearby lakes.
