Pros: Had a very easy experience picking up car. We needed a child car seat and while we had to install it ourselves it was ready to go with no issues. When we went to return the car at the airport it was pouring rain and the gentleman receiving the car saw we had a young child with us said, "don't worry about getting your things out, we will drive you to the gate." That small gesture was such a help to us! Thank you!

Pros: Liked everything except distance between counter and parking lot.

Cons: Waited in line forever, though there were only two customers ahead of me. Car was crappy, exterior scratched up and dirty - Chevy Impala, with no USB port to connect a cellphone, and no keyless entry to the car. Ended up paying double the original quote for a bunch of random charges. Very sneaky. Would avoid in the future.

Pros: The sales rep at CHO didn't try to sell me on auxiliary insurance.
Pros: I liked the car, liked the price, liked the location.
Cons: When I picked up my car, no one explained to me the deposit. It wasn't clear on my receipt, and I wasn't aware of it at all until I checked my bank account. I tried calling the number listed on the receipt to understand and no one answered so I called the 800 billing number. He wasn't clear at explaining why I was charged over $100 more than what was given on my receipt, and was a little rude. I ended up calling the airport and ended up speaking to a really nice guy and he explained it to me better and wasn't sure why I wasn't given a detailed explanation at the time of pickup

Pros: Really appreciated the value for money aspect...great to have a car you can rent for a day that way and still afford it!!!

Easy for the most part, and straightforward
Pros: Car was clean, ready to go, and the pick up and drop off was easy
Cons: Car had a dent on it that I noticed after I picked it up, and there wasn't anybody to check for damage when I picked up the car nor was this ever mentioned. Granted, I should have looked when I picked up the car, but I'm hoping that this dent isn't pinned on me.

Cons: Reservation started at 8 am. Got there at 8:04 am. They didn't have the care ready till 8:30 am - which caused me to be 20+ minute late to the event I got the car for.

Budget Rental UVA Move In
Pros: Toyota Siena was very roomy, easy to adjust, and loved the backup screen feature in super crowded college move-in environment
Cons: Not really Budget's fault, but the drop off at Charlottesville Airport is geared for folks flying in and out of area, so had no place to park car, and returning keys to Airport terminal was not clearly marked

Cons: Employee was late to the pick up desk, when not opening until 8 am was already later than I would have liked (I had to drive to Boston that day)
Cons: Even though we had a confirmed reservation they had no car for us. They said a "glitch" in their reservation system caused overbooking. They said they would call us when a car came in from another location but they never called. The same thing happened to my niece this summer at another VA location. Never again will we use Enterprise

Pros: The price was good.
Cons: The high pressure to buy the additional "coverage." I tried to politely tell the agent that I did not want any additional coverage, but he persisted in trying to scare me into buying the coverage. When I again told him that i declined, he told me he was just doing his job.
When I returned the car I was asked how my rental experience was and I told the gentleman that i didn't like the high pressure tactic to sell me the insurance. He responded with "That's the name of the game." i replied that I thought is was a crummy game.

Dirty car options
Cons: Have rented from here many times and its always been decent. This time it was awful. Car optuins were all either sticky, dusty or stained sears. As a business traveller this is unacceptable. The customer service was also lacking tremendously and I refused to proceed with the rental.

Didn’t have a car to rent us
Pros: The staff at this location were very friendly and delivered on their promise to communicate with us
Cons: We made arrangements to rent a mini-van for a day while grandma was in town so that we could all ride comfortably on a 4-hour road trip we had planned with the kids. When we arrived to the Enterprise location at the time of our reservation we were told that they didn’t have any mini-vans available. The offered us a 15-passenger van and offered to cover the fuel expense and called to see if a couple of larger SUVs might be returned on time later that day. After waiting to see if the SUVs might become available, we ultimately had to cancel our reservation because we didn’t feel a 15 passenger van would be any more comfortable to us with multiple car seats. Enterprise should not be allowed to offer rentals cars they don’t actually have. This is a system error that should be rapidly corrected!

Pros: The staff at the Charlottesville airport were efficient, courteous, and nice. The car was ready, clean, and comfortable. (Be aware that if you rent an Enterprise car there you need to go to the National Counter. There is only a small sign to indicate that. I had to ask.)
Cons: I didn't care for the car's handling and performance. I didn't expect a super car but the steering on the Dodge I received was very loose to the point it felt a bit unsafe. Otherwise the car was roomy and comfortable for my six foot, 200 pounds and got decent mileage.

Cons: Couldn't figure out how to,use all the bells and whistles without reading the manual. Needed to find the security guard to help 3 adults figure out where the drop box was. It was underneath a bunch of envelopes
Cons: Make and model of the car the 55 min wait to get a car when I was the only customer.
Took 10 min before I was greeted. Both agents were on the phone.
Was lied to about vehicle choice. Was told this was the only car that was available and it was an upgrade. it was not and the lot was full of cars that were available.

Confusing drop off
Cons: There are no signs telling you where to turn on the keys. Turns out you have to go to baggage claim to find the desk. We certainly weren't the only ones walking around in the rain trying to figure that out.
