Staff were very helpful. The bar/foyer area was cool and the view of Chaouen was ideal. Service was excellent and we didn't feel like we had to tip the staff for every thing we asked for, which can be the case in Morocco in general.
The location was not good, it just seemed like a bit too much hassle to get to the main part of town - even though this generally only meant getting a taxi for 2 or 3 euros, and the taxis were quite frequent, I just preferred staying closer to the main square in the centre of town.
The room had an amazing view! Our bedroom was plain, but clean. We had a tv and a hot shower. The breakfast could have done with more variety, and was mostly sugar, but is what I've come to expect from hotel breakfasts in Europe. Wifi in the common areas downstairs worked well. We had a discounted rate from the internet, I don't think it would have been good value for money if we'd paid the rate listed in the lobby. I think this hotel is a bit better than many of the reviews I've read.
It was quite a hike down to the town, but that's what you get if you want the good views...and taxis back up the mountain were cheap and easy. When we first got in the power in our room was out, and it took them an hour and a half to put it back on. The walls were very thin, and we could hear everything our neighbours did.
very nice view on the city
long distanc from the city, no frendly staff, very poor breakfest
The setting was spectacular set on the side of a mountain high above the town.
The menu was uninspiring. Breakfast was average.
Nice view over the Medina
Run-down, dirty, poorly maintained, out-date hotel. Miniscule balcony. Terrible broken furniture in the rooms. The reception and foyer were smoking areas. The pictures are very deceiving! The breakfast service was terrible and the breafast was worse-stale, small criossants, stale toast. The pool always had local children swimming in it who like to have a good look at the women in bikinis. We constantly had problems getting into our room with the swipe card.
