10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and wonderful location in the heart of the amazing blue City.
4.5 Okay
Pros: After a long trip to reach the hotel we end up by an unwelcoming staff where he was arguing about 20euros that he needed us to add as a supplement on our room night which was 138 euros even i sent an email informing the property that we are 2 people and replied back by confirming the same and a twin bed was given where my child has to sleep between the beds and half of him between beds where it was gathered . Room and service not worthy to pay 158 euros no phone in the room no room Service is available in the hotel no housekeeping to do evening service or at least take garbage as we have a baby so we needed some one to take dirty nappies also no water was offered apart from 2 small bottles upon arrival . Breakfast was good but overall stay not worthy to spend and choose this hotel .we were not happy at all .
Cons: Room and service and rate is too high comparing what this hotel is offering
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a magical, beautiful riad located in the Medina. The riad is impeccably furnished, the breakfasts bountiful and delicious, and the staff incredibly helpful and friendly. It was an oasis in Chefchaouen. Highly recommended!
Cons: N.A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous little riad. Loved the colorful interesting decor. Lovely breakfast by the pool. Great location to just wander
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I wish to highlight that all the hotel staff is extremely helpful and attentive during our stay. The riad is situated in the old medina so the taxi drop us off outside at the nearby night market and it takes about 5min walks to reach the riad. Although its situated at the left part of the old medina but the riad location is actually very near to all the shops and restaurants. Continue to walk to the right part of the old medina and climbing up the hill will give you the full panoramic view of the blue city. The riad and the room is extremely gorgeous and clean and our room is absolutely amazing. We have our breakfast nearby the pool and the food is good! I will definitely introduce to all my friends to stay in Riad Cherifa if they will visit Chechaouèn. Thank you Riad Cherifa for making our stay amazing.
Cons: Everything is great!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Decor of the room/hotel felt detailed and authentic. It was right in the middle of where we wanted to be. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Parking was a little confusing but ok...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect. Staying at this hotel was like a dream. All the 5 senses are satisfied.
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great community areas. Our double room was a bit small but very well appointed. The bathroom and shower were very good size. Staff provided decent service but when we checked in we were asked us if we wanted tea rather than provide it outright - this was odd compared to all other places we had stayed in Morocco. Breakfast was outstanding. We would stay again but only if in an upgraded room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Riad is very beautiful, fabulous interior design, something beautiful to look at in every direction. Wonderful position on one of Chefchaouen most beautiful streets . Friendly and helpful staff. Cold AC Strong Hot water . Tea / coffee making facilities.Very nice and plentiful breakfast included. Would recommend.
Cons: Nothing

9.4 Excellent (1,099 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Dar Elrio - Hostel in Chefchaouen, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Chefchaouen Waterfall and Plaza Uta el-Hammam. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service overall. Excellent wifi, location, rooftop view, breakfast, free iced or hot tea anytime, housekept everyday, pleasant staff to talk to and always reaching out to all their guests, and above all the place is very safe. This is the best hostel I've ever experienced from checking in until I checked out this morning. They called taxi for me as early as 630, and when I checked out, Yassine gave me breakfast to go for my next journey. How sweet is that? He even turned down my tip. How many hotels or hostel would give you breakfast on your way out? They care so much. Yassine and Rashid are awesome. But all of them in this place are exceptionally good and kind people.
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hostel is amazing. The best hostel I've stayed in during my 10 days trip around morocco. It's a bit pricy compared to other hostels but totally worth it. It's close to the mosque on the hill and not far from the medina. It has an amazing rooftop terrace and the breakfast is amazing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the terrace. It was a calm place that helped me think and relax.
Cons: It was a bit hot at night in the dorm and the doors were a little noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There's a very welcoming atmosphere at the hostel! The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they were always up for a chat. The rooms and interior/decorations are lovely. The rooftop is a great place to hang out at and to enjoy the view of the medina. The breakfast is top and you can get free tea/icetea all day long. With all the effort that got put and gets put in Dar Elrio, it's just the perfect place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: staff are very helpful and we are enjoy to stay at this place very high recommend
Cons: no
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and food!
Cons: Very loud guest with crying baby, arguing, and loud music.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Location is not bad, near to parking and walkable to center. Staff helped with our luggage.
Cons: We spent 128US$ on the so called deluxe suite, the most expensive room in this property. Room is so hot, air conditioner barely work, and non stopping leaking water from the inside unit. We had to sleep on the sofa because the bedroom is like a hot cave with no air conditioner. Staff said because no one used this room for two days and it’s on the top floor just under the roof, that’s why it’s so hot. I asked since you know we booked, why can’t you turn the air con on to cool it down before guest check in? We couldn’t sleep almost whole night, around 3am when it’s cooled down outside, we had to open the window to feel a little air, however, with all of the air con engine hanging outside, the noise was quite loud. The leakage is so bad, they have to put towel under to soak the water to prevent a slippery floor. The shower head is leaking in every joint, it not only look like antique, functions even worse. Bathroom sink is as big as a salad bowl, hard to keep water from splashing everywhere, after two people use it, water is everywhere on the floor, leaked through the gap around sink. I told the staff at night the room condition doesn’t match the price and requested partly refund, he promised will talk to owner and give me a solution. This morning when we checked out, all we faced is a knowledge-less intern. I told her to check with the staff who is working on this issue and we need the refund when we check out. After two hours, the staff is no where to see and the poor intern said: “He said leave your bank account info, we will refund you later.” Without mentioning the amount and the time. We are not inexperienced to this type of trick, once we leave nothing will happen. We waited another half an hour for the intern girl to call the staff back to property, we told him again that wiring money to us will not be possible, there is big charge on both wire out and receiving side. Then he asked for PayPal which we don’t have. At the end, we walked away. No space to put more
8.8 Excellent
Pros: There are so many good things to say about this property, so I hope I don't forget anything. Firstly, the staff is an absolute pleasure. These people are beaming...glowing. Smiley helpful humans. Lovely breakfast on the terrace with breathtaking mountain views. Close enough to walk to the main areas of Chefchaouen and is located nearby other hotels / hostels. It's a really relaxing hotel with a chill rustic vibe - would definitely recommend to friends.
Cons: Bathroom facilities need a slight upgrade, but were more than acceptable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host gave us Free extra bed.

Pros: Hospitality of staff was amazing! Host suggested some hamman (spa) experience, which was stunning! You should definitely visit here. 10/10
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of this riad was excellent, we were able to walk to all of our destinations easily. The riad is next door to a mosque so be prepared for a pretty loud call to prayer being heard from your room! It didn't bother us, and the sound of the call to prayer is an iconic aspect of Moroccan daily life. The rooms are adorable with beautiful and unique architecture. Yes, they are tiny, but it was very quaint and wonderful. The hotel staff goes above and beyond with their assistance. We were given very detailed information about sightseeing and what to do in Chefchaouen, were brought plenty of mint tea and were offered help whenever we needed it. It was a lovely stay!
Cons: We loved our stay. It didn't bother us, but the rooms are quite small and the location of the mosque next door means a loud call to prayer in the early morning. Easy enough to wear earplugs if it bothers you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfullllll stay. The staff is supppper helpfull and superrr nice. The rooms are clean and u got all u need. Beautiful view from the rooms. I recommand highly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The two staff members, Imad and Hamzah, went above and beyond to be helpful, including buying bus tickets, escorting through the Médina to local shops, calling taxis and helping to arrange for a wonderful hike 30 minutes out of town. Wonderful, kind service :)
Cons: All was great
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was THE BEST. Especially Imad, he went really out of his way for us! But not only that, he was also very good company. And his restaurant recommendations were great! Thank you so much for giving us such a great stay. The location is great, really close to everything. The breakfast was the best breakfast we had in Morocco. The rooftopterrasse was nice to chill on. Bed is very comfortable and the AC works perfectly.
Cons: The rooms are a bit small but for us that wasnt a problem at all.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great staff, very clean place. The room was tiny but had everything we needed from it. It is an all around very welcoming establishment and even though we stayed for one night, I'd totally recommend this place for everyone.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Casa Sabila. The place is really nicely decorated, the room was comfortable, sparkling clean, and with a great Moroccan vibe. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and attentive. The breakfast was really good as well! Finally, even though Casa Sabila is located within the Medina it is really easy to find as it is close to one of the main streets.
Cons: The only bad thing would be that there is a mosque right next the building and we were not prepared for the prayers that are blasted out at 4:30 am. We know there is nothing the staff at Casa Sabila can do about that but could be a potentially important detail for people planning long stays.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good, room is convenient and comfortable, breakfast is fresh and delicious. The staff were very helpful because they cared about my city walk and departure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hamza and Muhammad were such wonderful and helpful hosts. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, and quickly helped us arrange a driver to Fes when the CTM bus tickets sold out on our departure day. The rooms are beautiful, and ours had powerful AC and shower, a great view of the mountainside. Breakfast on the terrace was a special treat. The location near Ras el Maa was also very convenient for getting in and out of the medina, hiking to the Spanish Mosque panorama view, and visiting the lovely restaurants along the river.

Pros: It’s a unique place un Chefchauen with unique people. Razid is the best host and his staff makes you feel like at home. The place has been done with style and paying attention to details. Food is real good. I can’t thank enough Razid for making our staying something magic and fun. If you choose another location in Chefchauen, you are missing visiting heaven on Earth! Razid, tus amigos de España te quieren y extrañan!
Cons: Literally nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful location and view of the mountains and city below. Very kind host and staff. The place and surroundings are really beautiful. It's nice to stay outside of the city.
Cons: The beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. It felt like we were sleeping on a stone. Maybe this is Moroccon style? The furniture outside on the terrace isn't very comfortable to leisurely spend your time either.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The quiet uphill location was just superb. Beautiful panoramic view of the city to admire the whole time. Rachid was very welcoming, entertaining and helpful. Transport to the town was either on foot, 30min downhill or by 4x4.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful surroundings and Rachid is the life and soul of the place. He makes you feel so welcome and ensures you are happy & have everything you need. The room was clean & tidy and also had good AC. The breakfast you receive here is also great and Rachid also made us dinner one night at it was delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet relaxing time away from the town, a free shuttle is also provided down to the town when you want to visit, or you can take the nice 30 minute walk down.

7.5 Good
Pros: the owner is super friendly, really nice guy great to chat with and makes you feel very welcome. it made our stay really good. its also nice to be up in the hills looking down on the city and having peace and quiet and night.
Cons: its a rustic house but the bathroom is a little too unfinished for our liking. location is good in that you are up in the hills and have a nice view. but in a practical sense going down to the town means asking the property to drive you down and takes about 20mins which is a minor inconvenience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house, stunning location, lovely sunsets You would be silly not to stay here All the staff are lovely, and nothing is to much trouble The ride down to town is so so helpful A amazing place to visit Come and stay x
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this property was commendable. Rashid was an excellent host and made our stay beyond enjoyable. We were taken down to the city by car (a short drive) whenever we wanted, and collected too. One afternoon Rashid provided watermelon for us as we were sitting outside on the patio, which was incredibly thoughtful. On our last night, Rashid cooked for us - a Moroccan salad and a chicken and olive tagine - for a very reasonable price and it was delicious, as were the breakfasts. We cannot recommend Dee Wadada highly enough - we only wish we could have extended our stay for longer!

Big breakfast with local speciality. But our rate is for Rafik, he helped us to find another accommodation when we decided to spend a night more in chefchaouen and the structure were full. Rate:10!
Cons: Absolutely nothing. Perfect stay

Dar Meziana - Chefchaouen - Bedroom
11
9.1 Excellent (578 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I’ve been to Dar Meziana before...the location is superb, the character and details of each room are perfectly matched to Chefchaouen. The attentiveness if the staff was perfect, the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We wanted to stay more time and we’re disappointed that we were only there one night this time. I had a slight problem with transportation leaving Marrakech and had to modify the reservation and the staff couldn’t have accommodated me more beautifully.
Cons: Loved everything about the riad and Chefchaouen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great accommodation. Simple but comfortable. Unmissable for fans of the Beat Writers.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Some of the staff was really nice.
Cons: Dar Meziana was OK. The room was tiny and when I brought out my credit card to pay, the manager said he only accepted cash. He gave me a hard time to pay for the room with the credit card but of course he had the ability to accept credit. Of all the places we stayed in Morocco, this one was the worst.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was a beautiful and with a prime location. The breakfast was great, one of the best we had in Morocco. The staff was very helpful and extra friendly. We had to buy a suitcase because one of ours didn’t arrive to Morocco and when we found out that the zipper was broken Souf Ian and the other guys at the hotel spent an hour fixing our bag for free! Everything was perfect!

Pros: Breakfast was amazing and host could not do enough for us.
Cons: We were in an economy room and it was small and smelled of mothballs. It didn’t spoil the stay but it was small for 2

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are the best you could ask for! They give us a room with a private bathroom instead of what I booked with sharing bathroom! I really appreciated! Thanks a-lot guys! Definitely I will come again! & recommend it!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Molino is in the perfect location! And the staff is super helpful. If you do have lots of luggage it can be a challenge with the stairs Leading to the property. But we called ahead and our taxi driver knew exactly where to drop us off and they sent someone down to help us with the luggage. We loved our room. The one we stayed in didn’t have AC but even in July, we were comfortable with the windows open. We will stay here again when we come back! Breakfast is great, the property cats are sweet, and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: The WiFi wasn’t always reliable. But we found this to be an issue all over Morocco.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The garden
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Molino Gardens is a really cool cottage house, close enough to the hustle and bustle but far enough for relaxing after u walk every inch of Chefchaouen shopping, exploring, and doing whatever... Afterwards, Milino Gardens allows u a space to unwind, relax, and sit in the garden with the two beautiful ponds, and many patinos, terrace, and sitting area while u drink some mint tea to relax...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful and comfortable garden. Nice staff. Yassin is helpful and made us good mint tea. Thank you so much for everything Yassin .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The gardens, service, staff, breakfast, view and the blue. Can’t complain!
Cons: That prayers at 4 AM lasted so long but thats not the fault of Molino gardens
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We traveled around Morocco for 3 weeks and this was by far our favourite accommodation! We originally booked the standard double room but was upgraded to the double room with private bathroom. It was amazing, beautifully decorated, very clean, gorgeous views of the mountains out the window and terrace. Breakfast was lovely - served in the very picturesque garden, lots of food including different types of break, pancakes and fried eggs with a choice of tea/coffee. The location is perfect too, close to the main square and right in the middle of all the pretty blue roads. The staff were also very lovely and welcoming and always answering any questions we had! Definitely recommend this place!
Cons: We didn’t mind and think it is part of the charm of travelling Morocco but it is right next to a mosque so you may be woken by the call for prayer, however there is a pharmacy on your way into the main square that sell ear plugs, don’t let this put you off the hotel is amazing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so lovely and the location was excellent. We had an amazing view of the mountains from our room (the private apartment on the top floor) and the price was so good. The garden was also lovely
Cons: Nothing really to complain about except maybe all the wasps in the garden. Not a big deal though really
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location Helpful staff Friendly cats Great shower (very hot) Delicious breakfast

Pros: Great fast check in compared to other Riad’s were we had a lot of paper exercise. The owner speaks excellent English and was very friendly. The position of the hotel is perfect, the breakfast was sev d fast and was good. This is only a two star Riad so it definitely exceeded our expectations!

Pros: Nicely located close to the spring of Chefchaoun and 5min by foot to the Medina. Quiet and a good escape from the very busy Medina. Rooms are sufficiently spacious and very clean. If you come by car, you might be able to park it inside the courtyard if the house is not entirely booked; otherwise there is a public parking nearby.

Pros: The food of breakfast is delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at this hotel for two nights and cannot fault a thing. The staff were extremely welcoming with complimentary tea on arrival and the rooms were very clean and offered beautiful views of Chefchaouen. Only a 10 minute walk from the main square the hotel offer off road parking (a god send) and a welcome break from the noise of Eid celebrations that we’re going on at the time of our visit. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and authentic; the Moroccan msemen were got and delicious. Great value and 10/10 would recommend
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Another great stay in Chef, gated parking, clean, great location, and wonderful customer service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, it is not inside the medina but just a couple of minutes walk. It is easy to find and has private parking within the property. It has a fantastic terrace from where you can get a good view of the old city. The owner was extremely nice. We were given a nice suite on the top floor with beautiful view of both the mountain and the old city. The breakfast was very good. We appriated the possibility to pay with paypal before our stay, in this way we have avoided to have the make currency change (many riads in Marocco do not accept credit cards).
Cons: The shower was not very practical. It was in the same space as the toilet, only separated with a curtain. It was impossibile not to get the floor wet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Facility was beautiful and right in the heart of town. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was delicious. We had a great dinner and the breakfast was exquisite!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: breakfast is wonderful, sweets are tasty, mint tea and coffee are nice. Room is big, clean and comfortable, nice position just near the Mohamd Plaza. We are satisfied with the equipment of the hotel.
Cons: Price. The only problem is that this accomadation is really NOT price-effecient since most of accomadation in Chefchaouen are ranged among 20-30 Euros, we stayed in a whole nice apartment only with 31 euros. You really need to consider whether the so-called Kawaiisa worth this price.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff . Great location.very comfy rooms but no dark curtains to block night or day light .Ok breakfast. Over all wonderful value for money
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is fabulous. We had a car and could park very close to the Riad. Then the medina was within walking distance. This meant that all the sights were close by and yet we were able to retrieve our car easily.
Cons: There were no windows in our room which felt a little enclosed - but this minor. However, the room was lovely and very Moroccan in style. Some of the light bulbs were out also.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff here was awesome! They were so friendly and extremely helpful! The location was great - just a short walk up the hill from where the taxi dropped us off but they carried all of our luggage for us. It was close to shopping and restaurants too. The rooms were cozy and the food was great! I would definitely stay there again.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location was excellent and the staff was very helpful.
Cons: When we booked we were shown different photos of the rooms, but when we showed up that room was unavailable. We were then given a much smaller room, however, the staff was helpful and offered us a second room, which we took.

Pros: Restaurant on site was great, great view on medina and old castle, room was very spacious a nicely decorated.
Cons: everything was great

Cons: All good, nothing comes up.
Dar Zambra - Chefchaouen - Bedroom

8.9 Excellent (1,167 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in the Medina of Chefchaouene, Dar Zambra is a traditional, Moroccan guest house. It offers a terrace with mountain views and a lounge area. It is a 10-minute walk from Rass Elma. All of the heated rooms at Dar Zambra are traditionally decorated and feature a mountain view. Each room has a private bathroom with shower. Breakfast in included and served each morning in the dining room and free Wi-Fi access is available in the rooms. Dar Zambra has a 24-hour reception, which can organise airport shuttles, with an additional cost. Akchour is 30 km from the guest house.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great position in the Medina. Lowly views from the terrace.
Cons: Can be fairly loud at night.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was well located. Once we were sent to a different room, it was better. The breakfast was good although the terrace is in full sun after 9:00 and only a few seats can be in the shade. So a small tarp would add to the comfort of the guests while having breakfast.
Cons: The beds are extremely hard. I don’t normally complain about that when traveling because we all have various degrees of firmness that we prefer. In this case, the bed are not firm, they are hard. What ever happens when you go to that Dar, do not accept the room on the first floor. It had no climatisation and it could be nice to sleep with the windows opened in the mountains, but it does not smell good as a window is on an alley that is not super clean, it has no screen, so bugs, birds, cats and everything else could enter the room. If it were only that... the room is right behind the desk of the reception. So you basically are part of all the conversation that happens with the guests. Even those arriving a bit drunk at 1AM... We were moved to the room upstairs which had AC, was quiet and had a nice access to the main terrace. I’m glad they managed to do that, because we were extremely unpleased with the first accommodation. I had actually made plan to move hotel. The staff was nice, but we had to complain in order to start getting some smiles and service...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The views are amazing! It is worth the uphill walk---(though tell your taxi driver that he can take you to the TOP of the town to drop you off and not at the bottom. Dragging our suitcases uphill through narrow alleys and steps was not fun). Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were here on a hot July day, and there is no AC, so we slept with the windows open. And this is not a quiet place at night. Expect to hear music, drumming, voices, until the wee hours. Bring earplugs. For the price, this was a great place and a great value.
Cons: The noise outside...but that is not a fault of the property. If you stay up the hill, you get great views, but you also get the sound that travels up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, as was the breakfast, the rooms, the roof terrace and the staff. Would definitely recommend!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We love this hotel location and our driver knew this hotel so we doesn’t have to carry our luggages up by parking at the hill top behind the hotel. We only stay for one night but it is enough time to explore the beautiful blue city in the evening and in the early morning. The room is nice, everything works, the staff is very helpful. We’ll stay here again if we have a chance to revisit the city.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing!
Cons: It is a bit loud at night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hello to each of the Dar Zambra family and staff. We have thought many times of our stay with you! How we were totally captivated by you, your hospitality and home, the mountains, and Chefchaouen. Breakfast was a delight, situated outside on the rooftop with a spectacular view of Chefchaouen all around us! You provided us with such a beautiful and harmonious variety of things for our family to begin our day, from the breads, to the honey and jams, olives, goat cheese, fresh orange juice, and of course, the delicious mint tea and coffee. Thank you, to each of you for making us feel so welcomed and special. We know you work very hard! We were so happy to meet you and stay in your wonderful home. The rooster next door was very funny... I spent most of the night looking out of our bedroom window at the stars, and felt so thankful and fortunate to be exactly where I was.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: There’s a terrace upstairs who has a nice view of mountain
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kindly and friendly staffs who speaks english well. Very clean room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: When we first arrived we were put into a room at the bottom of the Dar which had no view at all and two single beds and I must say I was really disappointed as this was not what I had expected....but as soon as I discussed this with the manager he offered us a room with a beautiful view although at a higher price
Cons: Not knowing what you are getting for the price which is offered on booking.com
Dar Antonio - Chefchaouen - Building

8.9 Excellent (770 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Staff super friendly and helpful. Superb price and all you need for a good nights sleep.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Eventhough there are shared bathrooms (two are available) they were very clean and both have a toilet, a lavatory and a shower. The Riad was clean and the host is very relaxed. It is great located inside the Medina.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The location is not bad unless you have heavy luggages then you should consider a different place.
Cons: The way I and my Japanese fiancee were treated was really bad. The staff are rarely available to help. One of the staff treated us in a rude way. I don't recommend this place for couples, the bed is also small and you can barely sleep with your legs not reaching the wall. The toilet/shower are separate from the room so you have to walk a certain distance to reach them. Eventhough the hostel was well located.. I don't recommend it's location for people with heavy luggages since you will have to go through the medina and go up some stairs to reach it. Bad service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about Dar Antonio was nice. I have been to chefchaouen many time I only go to Dar Antonio because and everytime my stay there is the best. Thank you Hicham

Pros: The manner is which the host treat his guest. I called as soon as I arrived in Chef and he immediately committed to fetching me at my location. I didn’t even have wait that long before he came
Cons: That they don’t serve breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent, in the middle of the city centre. The staff is very friendly and sociable.
Cons: It would easier to have some indications to locate the property before arriving. For instance give a meeting point to avoid the guests to turn around the whole city centre.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The place is near to everything. Antonio always there to help or any staff. They are warm and welcoming. They always make sure you are enjoying your stay. There are terraces you if you want to hangout for snacks or cigarettes. The neighborhood is very safe!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a very beautiful little hotel with an amazing staff. You feel like you are staying with a friend. The staff is so kind and helpful. The ac was cold and a spacious room. It has a nice location a not far from the medina, which is a good thing because it can be a bit chaotic in the medina area during peak travel season. They have the best tea I've had in Morocco. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: The bed was a little hard, but that has been very common in North African travels.
5.8 Okay

With a stay at hostel souika in Chefchaouen (Souika), you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Chefchaouen Waterfall and Plaza Uta el-Hammam. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Really good, easily accessible location. They let us leave our bags for couple of hours after checking out, which was nice of them.
Cons: There is a cigarette smell in the hostel. There were indeed signs that the smoking is allowed only on the balcony, posted all around the hostel, but apparently the staff is not checking if the rule is followed and there was a full ashtray in the lounge area on our floor. There was no wardrobe/clothes rack in the room, so it only makes sense to book it if you are staying for a night or two and don’t need to unpack anything. We also had serious concerns about the cleanness of the sheets as I found few hairs on my pillow case. All in all, I would not repeat the experience.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved the hotel souika and thank you so much for the generosity, politeness, and hospitality. what I liked so much is the terrace of hotel and especially your hotel is very close to the kasseba.I stayed at the hotel twice during the holidays, and I would love to return to your hotel for the next holidays❤
Cons: I did not like the small window of our room connecting us to other visitors to the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find the hotel. The wifi connection excellent, everywhere in hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It's close to everything! Easy to find with all the signs outside. Great value for what you get. The beds were comfortable.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location in the Medina was alright. Close to the central square. View from the rooftop is good.
Cons: The reception staff is very very hard to get to. Most of the time there is nobody at the reception, when someone is here he is lazy not moving from the couch so that i don’t know he is staff and let me wait, wasting my time. When i ask questions I get no proper answer. Furthermore It is written that smoking is not permitted in hostel, except rooftop, but people didn’t follow rule and it was smelling bad.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and friendly staff!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very cheap and cheerful. It is a hostel, so a bit noisy in the evening. Wifi worked well. Very good for the price. Good location and well signposted.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beds are comfy. Huge rooftop terrace. Excellent location.
Cons: Top floor dorms are right underneath the rooftop terrace which makes sleeping early not an option due to late activity. One toilet didn’t have a toilet seat.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The man that was at reception when we leave was very rude. The former receptionist told us that there would be someone who will help us with our heavy luggages (we're two girls). The same help we had before in Fez. But at the time when we left, nobody helped us. They were watching football match on tv and told us that nobody would help us, in a very rude manner, like he was annoyed by us.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The terrace was very cool to meet new people and the sunset view was really nice. Games are available to play, with many couchs and tables. Everything was really clean and the staff really helpful and always ready to help whatever you need. The location is perfect, right in the center of the medina, close to many restaurants and shops !

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a really nice stay in the Riad. We were located in a room at the top and our room had a lot of windows which made the room very fresh with a very nice view. The Riad an outstanding terrace with wonderful views! The staff was also very nice and welcoming. I would say that it is really price worthy if you get a room in the last floor! :)
Cons: The shower and sink did not work very well and sometimes we did not have enough water pressure to have a shower.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Nice location, great roof top.
Cons: the bed and the pillow was very uncomfortable and my girlfriend got bitten very badly from flees that we think lived in the mattress, we told the owner and he didn't seem to care.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was great and the outside presentation quaint
Cons: In summer to have no fan or air conditioner in the room is a little disappointing The bathroom lacked space but still OK The terrace has great views of the city but needs the blankets, mats and washing better organized so guests can better use the rooftop Also more comfortable chairs for sitting & enjoying the coolness of the evening I’m unsure if I’d stay there again Also, the owner “fabricated” his own exchange rate from € to Dinah - very much in his favor - as you need to pay in cash So this was disappointing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner is very kind and helpful. The hotel is nice, has an authentic style that is not the most comfortable, but gives the little hotel a cozy atmosphere. Has a beautiful terrace, the rooms are fine and the location is great, in the center of the town but far from the bustle.
Cons: The shower stucks sometimes, cleaning in the bathrooms could be better, also their distribution, but in general terms is a nice option for a short staying.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was beyond welcoming and helped my group with recommendations in the city. The day we checked out our bus didn't leave until 7:30 pm, so they let us keep our bags in a locked room that we returned to later!
9.5 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful decor, welcoming staff

Pros: Spanish is the way to go here, but you knew that much since you are headed to Chefchaouene, I dont speak Spanish at all and had no problem getting all the info bout how to get to bus station, taxi and where to find good food, they offered me a free upgrade to a bigger room but I was perfectly happy with what I got to start with. town is super chill so dont stress and if you have to wait a min. hey wont kill you.
Cons: there was nothing I didn't anticipate, like etc. it was super chill and beyond my expectations! price i pade for the value I got was above my expectations. have a lovely one cheers
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: It's cheap
Cons: It's unclean. The internet doesn't work during the day. There's a lot of bugs. The shower was broken
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This place had the most beautiful view of Chefchouan from our room terrace. It blew my mind away. The owner was extremely helpful.
Cons: The shower water was cold at 5am. So I couldn't shower.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent and very helpful (not pushy and providing great advice). The room was unique, with very interesting colours and decor. We had the top floor double room with private balcony, and was totally worth the value!! The area is in a quiet location, but steps away from the fun areas of chefchaouen.
Cons: It could get stuffy during the day without AC (july), however this is easily beat with the window/balcony open to allow air to breeze in.

Pros: Great location staff very helpful comfy beds great breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and value for money, the hotel located inside the mountains, if you need an upper view, you should check Atlas hotel. The hotel is near everything, you can eat beside the hotel at Sofia restaurant, very good local food.
Cons: Toilet don’t have air sucker.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The view from the terrace towards the Spanish Mosque was nice and the hotel is on the very edge of the Médina, accessible by car/taxi. In the summer I imagine the pool to be this hotels main selling point. If that’s not important to you try one of the many clean and characterful ‘Dars’ in the Médina itself for a far more enjoyable stay.
Cons: There wasn’t a great deal to like about this hotel other than the fact they had availability when others didn’t. The hotel was very dated, the rooms small and the staff disinterested in providing any sort of personal experience. Smelled of smoke throughout and was noisy. All round a pretty grim place in a beautiful city.
