We loved every minute of our stay. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful with two pools, abundant lounging areas and it’s own cenote. The owner Geraldine went above and beyond to make us feel at home and comfortable. The included breakfast (and optional dinner) was delicious and beautifully presented with full linen, dishes and glassware. This made eating a wonderful experience every time. The staff was kind and very helpful. During our stay there was yoga and movie night. We had a terrific experience, made some special memories and will definitely be back to visit again.
Great ‘pueblo’ style Posada set in the abundance of green jungle with beautiful rooms, communal areas and handmade, delicious food. Very personal atmosphere, host Geraldine and team looked after us so well- it felt luxurious. The hotel is mainly b&b but does offer dinner. It’s like an oasis to come back to after a day on busy Tulum beaches. You’ll need a car
Everything about this accomodation was just great! The service, our room, people and also the place itself. And the breakfest? The best that we could try in Mexico! We would really want to visit this place again :)
There is nothing that we would have changed.
Room facilities were great and so was the breakast. Very nice and calm setting
It is located in a quiet place but still 20km from Tulum and also easy to reach in daylight but a bit more challenging if during the night
This hotel is our favorite we've ever stayed in!! An extremely nice mother and daughter run this hotel. They were so sweet that we really felt like we were staying with family rather than at a hotel. The setting is gorgeous, carved out of the jungle with its own private cenote a few steps below the pool (which has floats and fun seating near-by). The room was decorated in a fun, bohemian vibe perfect for vacation and the bathroom felt luxurious with an ample number of plush towels and large bottles of premium shampoo and conditioner. We were thrilled with the surprise amenities like a craft activity one night and a party with pinata the next night. The trampoline was also welcome! It was wonderful how the hosts encouraged families to stay and have fun, in contrast to some other hotels where it often feels like the kids are just tolerated. The large number of family rooms at the hotel ensured that many other families from all over the world (with an emphasis on French-speaking ones since that is the first language of the hosts) are there. The hosts easily switch between English and French with the guests. I also must add that the included breakfasts were delicious and huge! Note that the hotel is in the countryside, but about 10 minutes' drive to Akumal.
We wished we could have stayed longer and hope to come back some day!
