Great food in Cafe Robey and happy hour in Lounge. Rooftop bar has a great view. Close to blue line and easy to get to O’hare and loop. Good shopping and restaurants nearby.
Bed was comfortable. Closet roomy, services excellent.
Wait times for the elevators and access to the pool, Up room and lounge could have been better for hitels guests.
EVERYTHING. Staff was phenomenal at all hours. Helpful at 4am when I needed a new key. In the daytime whenever I had a question or called down for something I forgot to pack, it took less than 5 minutes before staff was knocking with exactly what I had asked for delivered to my room. When answering their front desk phone, every single employee was polite, prompt, knowledgeable.. What else ? They have every quality that is hard to come by these days in customer service. I chatted with sever staff members and a brief encounter led to lovely conversations which is usually annoying right? But not in this case. ABOUT THE ROOMS- I want the same room I had (queen with double bunk) next time and everytime after I stay there in the future. Or just make it my home. CLEANLINESS IS IMPECCABLE! With those concrete/marble floors (idk official name), no carpet, slippers for each guest, it felt pristine. And I've stayed in hotels in over 500 cities around the world so cleanliness is definitely a quality not often found at this level. I was in the industrial déco side of the hôtel so not sure about the other rooms but the lighting at the vanity was perfect for doing my eyebrows. I loved the separate private shower and toilet "rooms" and having the vanity just outside of both. The locker space would be perfect for anybody who traveled with family or just a group of people as it gives each person their own storage. Long bar for hanging clothes upon entry with wooden hangers too. Industrial déco was done perfectly. Edison bulbs and exposed pipes. A lamp on almost every corner for any personal use if don't want to turn on the main ceiling light (which was great lighting too when I used it). Shower in my room was handicap accessible with a sitting area if needed. Completely out of your way if not needed. Clean towels. Comfy slippers. I received a bottle of champagne when I checked in around 4am after making a reservation within the previous 30 minutes.
NOT A THING I didn't love. Would stay forever however had to leave since they were booked up when I tried to extend my stay. I had the queen with double bunk room. I want to move in.
The description of the hotel featured the 13th floor rooftop bar. Since it was closed for a private party we never even got to see it.

Occupying two landmark buildings in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood, The Robey Chicago, a Member of Design Hotels, sits at the six-way intersection of Milwaukee, Damen, and North Avenues in the Northwest Tower known as the Coyote Building and the adjoining old Hollander Fireproof Warehouse. The 89 guest rooms range from 215 to 675 square feet and offer amenities such as rooftop pool access and complimentary Wi-Fi. With an interior design described as minimally chic and industrially raw, to mimic the contrasting Art Deco and warehouse styles of the original buildings, the hotel is stunningly built with hardwood floors and walls of glass to contrast polished concrete and exposed brickwork. All 69 of the Tower Rooms in the Coyote Building offer king sized beds, apart from the Landmark Queen rooms, which feature queen sized beds. The 20 multi-bed Annex Loft rooms all offer a lounge area, a workspace, a bathroom with a shower, and city views. The property lures curious gourmands with modern American cuisine at the Café Robey, and summer-inspired American dishes at Cabana Club, boasting a rooftop pool and terrace. Cocktails are served at The Up Room rooftop cocktail lounge, where guests can gaze out over Chicago’s ever-changing cityscape. The Robey Chicago offers meeting facilities including the Panorama suite and bar, which offers a 180-degree view of Chicago’s ever-changing skyline and is well suited for more sober sophistication. Guests can also host events at Robey Hall, inside the old warehouse, a multifunctional event space epitomizing Chicago’s young entrepreneurial spirit.
