Very close to the city center. Its the combination of good location, cleaness and the luxury.
Friendly staff, good value for money Not all services (laundry, room service,...) are available during off season!
The staff is always very helpful!
everything was fine
Location close to the city Breakfast basket for the last day (6 AM) insufficient
Great location, nice pool, good breakfast selection, beautiful sea view from rooms.
Was able to walk to town. and the shops no
The view. The staff very polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast very rich and plenty. Strongly recommend this hotel for people who wish to visit Chios Island for a few days. The odur of tobacco in the corridor leading to the rooms.
The view from the room There was no one to help us with the suitcases (bell boy)
food , location of the hotel , pool bar , beach
publıc rooms servıce was surly and unhelpful
There was an amazing view of the sea It was far from everythıng and taking a taxi was a little expensive
Hotel was actually very bad. It was not accessible by a disabled person.Too many stairs without any handraillings. The hotel was build in a cliff that was very difficult to climb down. The A/C was not working(temperature was 32C degrees). Room was dirty and dusty, minibar was not working and there were no glasses in the room. Everything. Management, rooms (by all means), improvement of accessibility. Four stars for this hotel were too much

location towel service in room was poor, did not replace towels just took used towels away each day. The particular room had a terrible bathroom, door would open to 50% due to hitting the sink. The whole bathroom became the shower... the shower floor area was not drained off thus the whole bathroom became flooor became the the shower drain and would flood. Bathroom had a bad sewer smell.
The location was good and the breakfast included in the rate was also good. These are the only positive things I can say. The air conditioning did not work and it took them 3 days and several complaints to discover it was low on freon (outside temperatures were 36 C, 95 F) The carpeting in the room had many, many stains. The "for a fee" public computers were out of order for our entire 7 day stay. This hotel was difinitely not worth the 110 euro per night rate.
only the position makes the hotel worthwhile to some extent! The hotel is very run-down and needs a total renovation.Feels as if it just opened after a long winter but without any preparation!
The gardens and grounds were bvery ghandsome, but the main attraction was Mr. Voulamandis himself.
The hotel staff was very polite. Michael, Maria, Stratos and Angelliki were very helpful acting as personal tour guides since every day were given us directions and suggestions for places to go!!! I believe it is a suitable place for couples and families enjoying relax and harmony. It is close to sea and to the center of Chios. We really enjoyed the breakfast with lemonades and oranges from their farm!!! I will never forget the view from my balkony to the huge farm of Voulamandis House. I would really recommend Voulamandis House to couples and families. It is the best value for money choice No everything was perfect!!
The location is very close to perfect. The owner/manager is very polite and helpful, he implements the best practices of greek (and international) hospitality. The garden is fabulous. The rooms are spacious (but in poor condition). Breakfast was good with the exception of coffee (but we managed to replace it with greek coffee). The room that I used was humid and there was an unpleasant odor of mold. The bathroom was large and comfortable, but in worn condition. The room needs immediate and radical repair. Based on other customers' comments and evaluations, I expected much better quality. Hope that the bad condition of the room is due to the end of season, but again, this is a very poor excuse.
Hospitality of those who are in this hotel is great!
We liked orange trees, over 120-year-old palm tree, "çardak" of grapes, 1742 dated pool, friendly Mayk and his wife and their dog Hector. We have got lost while turning back from a trip on island of Chios, because of labyrinth type of roads of Kambos area. But citizens were very friendly and wiling to help us to find our ways back to hotel.
