Our room was just charming, staff was very helpful and the food for breakfast (not included in the room price) and dinner was delicious. The tiny town didn't offer too much in terms of walking-around but was very pretty. The Chenonceaux chateau entrance is only 200 meters away from the inn. Visit Amboise nearby for a bigger town to see. Nothing negative to say at all.
Pros: Beautiful little inn with a fantastic restaurant in a picturesque little town near the Chenonceaux chateau. Perfect location for visiting Loire chateaux.
Cons: Be prepared to drive a lot if your goal is to sight see. But the roads are well-kept and the views are very charming.

Cons: This place is categorically not an Hotel! It is an impressive chateaux set in very nice gounds where ther are chalets for family occupation and a vatiety of animals - good fun if that's what you want. However what we wanted was a comforatble 'hotel' in which to stay with all the usual 'hotel' facilities and that's what we thought we had booked. What we got was a basic room, with a basic continental breakfast for how much? €125! No bar, no restaurant, and several Km into town for something to eat after driving all day. No wonder it is not listed anywhere else as a 'hotel' and why my satnav showed the location as the middle of a field!
Pros: The owner was very friendly & helpful. The room was comfortable for a family of 4. Delicious breakfast!
Pros: Very quiet, chaming and great place. We took our pre-wedding photos at the chateau. All of the photos are beautiful and we have excellent experience.
Pros: Beautiful building in a beautiful setting. The owner was very helpful and waited for us even after the check in time. There is a list of restaurants available for the evening and breakfast is included. The hotel is very quiet and in a park with animals to see. We did not use the swimming pool only because of the weather!
Pros: Excellent location. Very good to examine the region. Large room with nice service.
Cons: There is no restaurant in the hotel (the near one is 3 minutes drive).
Pros: Absolutely too cool to stay at an old chateau.
Pros: Staying in the main chateau was fantastic - a real treat. The room was a family room and it was very spacious. Four poster bed, full access to swimming pool and grounds. The children particularly liked the animals in the grounds. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cons: Not applicable.
Pros: We wanted a hotel centrally located in the Loire Valley with lots of French charm. If you love the country side, this place is convenient for going east or west in Loire to visit the chateaux, with other local options such as: hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, etc. Our room was very spacious. No A/C, but it doesn't matter, the room was comfortably cool. Our bathroom had a bath tub with a hand held shower, not unlike many hotels in Europe. I highly recommend this chateau. Staff is very accommodating. You might want to brush up on your French! Americans would probably call it a B & B. Free wireless Wi-Fi in sitting area. The night sky with the stars is absolutely amazing. Works for families &/or romantics.
Pros: It was out in the country - when we woke up we could see the horses in the meadow. The rooms were lovely, the owner was very friendly and we had a wonderful stay even though the weather did not allow for use of the pool. It was a great place from which to visit the chateaux.
Cons: It was a bit hard to find and like most of the hotels in France, the tub would benefit with the addition of a shower curtain.
Pros: Nice surroundings, very nice and thoughtful landlady, tasty french breakfast, something like a zoo around the building (lamas, horses, peacocks E.T.C.). We didn't test the waterpool because of weather, but it really exists.
Cons: WiFi signal was quite weak in our room, at the same time it was perfect into the common room next to ours (seems like the walls are too thick). But since we were almost alone in this building - it was Ok.

Pros: Breakfast was simple but plentiful. Great pastries, hard boiled eggs and personalized coffee. Room was small but just fine. Beds were firm but great for me. Great location to visit castles. Easy parking in secured locked gated area. Trying to speak even the most basic of French will get you big smiles. Very clean.
Cons: Not super attractive on the outside as are some of the cute more expensive locations. But great value.
