Pros: This is one of the most stunning hotels i have been to. It was beautiful and it felt a very special experience to stay in such a historic house, and ex-monastery. Giulio and his staff were super friendly, he took us on a tour of the abbey and talked about its history. A lot of the food was from their garden and beautifully prepared.
Pros: The Abbey is a very special place. To be a guest and sleep in a monks room which is many hundred years old is an exclusive experience as well as the dinner together with the owners family. Giulgio is very kind and gave us an very interesting guided visit of the abbey included in the rooms price. Lovers of historic places and old stones will be delighted. Price quality relation for what you get is perfect.
Cons: Our bathroom was quiet big, but you have to shower in the bathtub, which is a bit uncomfortable and also easy to slip. Breakfast is more or less traditional Italian with coffee or tea, some toasted bread from the day before with marmelade and homemade cake. Don't expect a huge breakfast buffet.
Pros: Everything about our stay was wonderful! Staying at the Abbazia was so much more than just a place to stay. It was an event! Guilio and his staff were so kind and catered to our every need. The history and the beauty, as well as our host and staff, will always be remembered. I hope to return to this beautiful place some day!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.
Pros: Its unique history and beautiful architecture. The staff were great!
Cons: It’s a pity we were not told about a huge event on one of the days/night at time of booking
Pros: Great experience in old monastery with 400 years history. Quite and peaceful stay.
Cons: Unfortunately the bathroom did not have hot water working however we got access to other bathroom to opposite our room and as there was no other guest in the monastery was not a problem.
Pros: Fantastic experience in a Game of Thrones/Downton Abbey/Harry Potter setting! The (bath)room was extraordinary, the halls and courtyards were fun to stroll through and dinner with the landlord and lady was quite a marvelous experience. The surroundings are very quiet, no noise coming from the road or other villages.
Cons: We were not informed about the costs of dinner, so we were surprised with the bill during check out.
Pros: An amazing, unique place. You feel like you are in a different world. 10 meter high ceilings, renaisance cloisters that you see from your rooms window, original 18th century paintings in the breakfast room, and much much more. And not to mention dinner cooked with freshly picked vegetables from the garden. And of course a detailed and thoughtful tour of the grounds by Giulio makes you feel the place is alive with history.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing not to like. This place is incredible.
Pros: History, location, the tour of the property, the family, Bianca the dog, the fantastic breakfast & dinner (food was amazing) there’s nowhere like it. Good wishes to Giulio & the family on the continued restoration & development.
Cons: It was amazing, no negatives. Maybe just a suggestion, perhaps an honesty bar in the tea/coffee room for a drink if people wish after check-in/before dinner.
Pros: Loved everything. The hotel the people the food the town. Very fortunate to meet so many friendly, helpful people. Many fond memories.
Pros: Nice simple little hotel in a charming town. Having an excellent restaurant downstairs is a bonus.
Pros: Family run business. The owner is an excellent cook. Great Pizzas! She was so kind and even gave us a present to take back home. I would stay there again and recommend to family and friends
Cons: soap in the bathroom
Pros: Nice well appointed room. Very clean.
Pros: Very clean!!!!
Pros: They cooked for us with some Italian food. Super awesome!
B&B Il Ciliegio features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Chiusa Sclafani. The bed and breakfast offers a TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries and bidet. Guests at B&B Il Ciliegio can enjoy an Italian breakfast. Guests at the accommodation can enjoy hiking and cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. The nearest airport is Falcone-Borsellino Airport, 90 km from B&B Il Ciliegio.
Pros: Very clean hotel. Good mattress. Air conditioning. Good coffee with the continental breakfast. The room was a good size. The price for the room was fair. The hosts speak some English and some German.
Cons: Manager of the B&B seemed annoyed by our request to get our passports back before we left. The shower head was annoying and we didn’t have enough hot water one of the mornings. There was only one small towel bar so the other towel had to dry on the bed. The lighting was unpleasant (harsh fluorescent). Breakfast was only bread or croissants with jam and honey, no fruit, cheese, meats etc.
Pros: We have a lovely time, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was exactly as we wanted. The location of the room was perfect for us to be able to visit the town and surrounding countryside.

With a private bathroom, rooms at the guest house also have free WiFi. Guests at Casa Vacanze Prezioso can enjoy an Italian breakfast. The nearest airport is Falcone-Borsellino Airport, 84 km from the accommodation.
Pros: The owner Vincenzo was very welcoming and helpful. The room I was given was beautifully renovated, modern and sparkling clean. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Bisacquino.
Pros: Upon first arriving in town, we were extremely lost using GPS to try to find the B&B (be aware: driving in Bisacquino is not for the faint of heart). We texted and called the owner, who tried to help over the phone and ended up driving out to find us and lead us back to the place. We were in Bisacquino to meet some extended family, and since our Italian is not great, the owner actually called for us to explain that we had arrived and where we were (it's a pretty small town, so he actually KNEW some of our extended family also). Since our schedule for the next day was very tentative, he allowed us to stay as long as we needed the next day for no extra charge. He was extremely gracious and accommodating - true Sicilian hospitality. Breakfast was served at a cafe a short walk nearby, which ended up also being owned by him. The coffee and pastries were wonderful.
Cons: We did have a VERY hard time finding the place, since neither the booking.com address or the address shown on Google Street View were correct. It turns out there is a third address which does correctly route you through GPS, which is the one on their business card. Parking is available in front of the B&B. I'd recommend confirming the address with the owner before you arrive in town so that you don't have any issues.
Pros: The room was spacious and very comfortable and clean. The host does everything to help you around, drive you around.

Pros: Gorgeous country house in rural Sicily, great views, friendly owner
Cons: A little tricky to find
