Pros: I was there for two nights. I am a solo travel from the states, there visiting on my way to try to surf Strandhill (the waves were flat, sad to say). The Cottage was quite easy to find. Much to my surprise, it was a Bed & Breakfast. The owner of the home greeted me with friendly smiles and answered all of my questions, gave me traveling tips for around the area as well. The rooms were immaculately clean!!! It looked like brand new rooms! The rooms were quite big. The bed was absolutely comfortable -- I woke up refreshed, starting each morning well rested. I was in awe. I am an Airbnb host so I appreciated the help and all the hard work the couple who owns this B&B do. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Cons: The lady in the reception wasn't so kind during check-in.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were all very friendly. Dinner was brilliant, in both the bar and the restaurant.
Cons: The air con in the room is quite loud. No bottles of water in the bedrooms is a bit of an oversight. The cases being kept behind reception for guests looks really messy. Quite a long time to get checked in.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location hotel was comfortable and quiet
Cons: Hotel offered babysitting services in their booklet but when we enquired from one receptionist they said they didn't offer it yet some of the other staff were not aware of the change Also the pool was quite cold hence why it was almost empty when we used it ok if your doing something but not when you have children

Pros: Liam and Mary run a sweet little B&B. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of options. Mary's Irish coffee was a great way to end the night in the charming pub downstairs, chatting it up with the locals. The little town is tucked back and quiet, but still has everything you could need. They were so welcoming, I cannot wait to go back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the venue itself, but this lark of adding €10 for Breakfast does'nt go down well. Thought €430 for was more than enough for what we were getting besides being hit again for breakfast as an extra. Who does'nt require breakfast in the morning before heading off!!!!!
Cons: Adding breakfast is a non runner, sorry. Prices should be inclusive.
7.1 Good
Pros: The host was very friendly
Cons: Too far from the city center
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality of Mary and Liam and their unique B & B.
Cons: Having to move on with our holiday

Pros: Mary and Liam were so welcoming, very friendly. They were really helpful as we were up for a wedding and not sure of how far we were from things.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Liam and Mary were great and very warm hosts. Accommodation is located outside the main center near the school and the church. During our stay it was a nice quiet place. The room and the bathroom were clean, everything was beautifully arranged and prepared (kettle, tea / coffee, biscuits, towels, soap ...). This is a home-type accommodation and I love this - it was wonderful. For breakfast we had a homemade full irish breakfast, we really enjoyed it. Thank you very much!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very friendly, the room was quite small but it was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a good choice. They don't do evening meals but we ordered a takeaway - Chinese - which was lovely and they supplied cutlery and plates and we eat it in the bar.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: First night of the 9 we would be spending in Ireland during our driving holiday. Unfortunately due to a ferry cancellation we arrived very late 9.55pm. Despite the late hour our hosts Liam and Mary made us very welcome and we were able to join the locals at the bar enjoying the lovely Guinness till about 1am when we retired to our very spacious room with large private bathroom. Next morning as requested we enjoyed a late breakfast @ 9.30. The breakfast was exceptional; cereals, juice, tea and toast followed by a full Irish, freshly cooked and served by Mary. Plenty to last us all day "and it did". Lovely friendly people.
Cons: All good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Warm and comfortable.
Cons: I have no complaints.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is wonderful. Yes, it is slightly off the beaten track, (about 10 mins) but well worth the effort to stay there.Staff very helpful and such a great quiet spot at the base of the mountain. Very clean, new and fresh.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Green ceiling lights permanently on in bedroom makes sleeping difficult. Surely they should only kick in IF the power goes off. Feels like daylight. Other travelers mentioned this in the kitchen area in the morning. Otherwise lovely.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Me and my friends stayed for only one night, checking-in late over the advised hour for checkin. The host was really kind to guide us and provide options which perfectly fit our plan. There was a private bathroom in the room with a hot shower. The kitchen was large a spacious with a great view. The location is in a quiet area, which we needed to have a good sleep.
Cons: The bathroom was clean but had very basic stuff only. No breakfast options were available. Just the usual kitchen tools. We had to prepare breakfast with our own products.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hostel seemed to have been repainted with new furniture shortly before we arrived. The beds were so comfy that you might’ve expected them in a really nice hotel. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of social spaces outside of our room.
Cons: The hot water took quite a while to come out of the shower and sinks and there were no cloths to dry up our dishes, but that’s very minor really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A great hostel, unobtrusive staff, great facilities and the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in or seen.
Cons: Couldn't fault the place.
7.5 Good
Pros: All facilities are amazing.
Cons: There was no internet connection
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful countryside location. Stunning lounge. Great beds in family rooms with lovely garden views and very clean and safe. Loved having private en-suite. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Couldn’t get WiFi in the family room furthest away from reception (tried both numbers). Would have been really useful to have oil to cook with.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is amazing, very close to the Horseshoe drive and Benwiskin and Ben Bulben mountains. it is very quiete, there is no traffic and you are in nature. there is also a beautiful garden. Staff are very friendly and care about recycling rubbish.
Cons: the hot shower did not work in the morning. The most annoying thing is the small green light in the ceiling, i think it is for the fire alarm and this light illuminates the whole room. the room is too bright at night. The hostel were full and they were all watching football in the common room so we had to sit in our bedroom in the evening.

Pros: Fabulous! Very happy with room and service. I also had them book a taxi for me to get to an event and it was on time.
Cons: Something minor brighter lights by bathroom mirror. For outside, a table with chairs for rooms with balconies
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Happy out very comfortable
4.0 Okay
Pros: We liked the location ,the staff were excellent, and all food was delicious ,
Cons: We didn't like being allocated a room beside a hen party who were drunk and very loud up to 4 :00 am , Surely a couple of our age group should not have been allocated a room so near to a rowdy hen party.
5.8 Okay
Cons: The room was v cold. When we left for our evening out and returned later on there was a door card that wasn't ours in the electricity/light holder. Receptionist wasn't v helpful and none of their computers worked when we were checking out so we were held up for ages leaving other customers held up too as she was on her own.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: In 15 days of travel over Ireland/N.Ireland, this was by far the comfiest bed/bedding we slept on. Oh man I wish we were in Sligo for longer. Upon check-in, the girl at the front desk gave us a ton of recommendations for what to do that evening. And I loved the crazy-ass look of the place. Oh and the breakfast buffet had tons of choices.
Cons: Well, we booked online and I don't *think* breakfast was included, which is what the girl at the front desk said, so we decided to pay for it that morning. However when we went to the restaurant, the guy there said that it *was* included. So it's possible we paid twice for breakfast, OR it was just a miscommunication.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location with on site parking. Only 4E per day which was very reasonable considering what we paid in other cities. Our room overlooked the river which was lovely. Easy walking into the city area for restaurants and other attractions. Sligo is not a large city but it's lovely with the bridges, walking areas and nice restaurant and pubs.
Cons: We were directly across from the conference rooms but they handled it well and there was no annoying noise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. We had a great room overlooking the river with a balcony. I would recommend staying here. You could walk to everything, even the bus & train station were within a 5 - 7 minute walk. I will definitely stay here again & would highly recommend this lace. You will not be disappointed.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Arrived to lovely welcome and surprised to be informed that we got a free upgrade to Top Floor amazing apartment room with views over Sligo :-) :-) Made our Trip - Thansk so much guys :-) Highly recommended
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly especially those in the restaurant. They had a great meal special for the Thursday night. Great views from the balcony in our room. Good parking under the hotel and only €4 per day.
7.5 Good
Cons: Breakfast is below par. There is plenty of it but not as fresh as you would expect.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was amazing - close to the lively local bars and all the shops. Primark was literally at the back door and the Garvogue was out the front! Everything was very relaxed and clean. The room was a great size and had a beautiful balcony looking out onto the river. I also loved the little extras like the robes/slippers, high quality tea tray and TV with good channel selection. The staff were polite and helpful. For breakfast we ate in the room and ordered speciality coffees, which we got - a lovely treat as in some hotels it's filter coffee only. All-in-all the breakfast was lovely with a great choice of options. This really is the perfect hotel to enjoy the best of the heart of Sligo!
Cons: We were given no information about the restaurant when checking in so when we got ready in the evening and came down for dinner we have missed last orders by 15mins and had to eat at the bar. The food was still lovely - but we had set the night aside for a meal in the restaurant as a treat. When we were checking in we also paid for parking, however when checking out they told us we had not. When we explained, the receptionist told us that we had paid but that the person checking us in had miscalculated and we owed more. It was a minor amount so we didn't kick up a fuss but it was strange and a little unprofessional. The hotel is very clean and tidy but the decor was a bit wacky for me (just a personal thing). It's a pity there's no pool/leisure facilities.

Pros: we stayed here as we had a wedding in the area, hotel is in a good location, staff was nice they called a taxi for us and then called our room number to tell us another couple going to the same wedding was getting a taxi and wondered did we want to travel together. rooms were nice comfortable bed. shower very good. All in all a good experience.
Cons: check in says 3 but when we arrived at 3.45 room still wasn't ready. cleaning of mirrors could have been better. 14.50 pp for a breakfast is over priced so we opted for just a room only

Cons: All good
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly & helpful. Rooms are a good size & food was fair. Good light in the room.
Cons: The place off the main reception looks tired. Needs a face lift, corridors could do with a fresh coat of paint. Cleanliness was disappointing. It appears clean but on closer inspection, tiles were dirty, sink didn’t drain properly. Phone in room was dirty. Could do with a thorougher clean. Lift needs a regular wipe down, marks on the walls. A bit of TLC require.

Pros: Teach Aemon had a lovely feel of old and new. It had been tastefully decorated in a very comfortable style. There was a guest lounge upstairs with very comfy lounges and tea and coffee always on hand. The views across to the mountains were amazing. The breakfasts were very good. Unfortunately, my wife has mobility issues so we didn't often take advantage of the guest lounge.
Cons: Unfortunately, there was some noise from the water pipes but they were being fixed the week we left.

Pros: Very spacious room and bathroom which is unusual in Europe, UK and Ireland. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. Lots of Ireland travel brochures were supplied in a very comfortable common area where you can help yourself to tea and coffee making facilities. There’s also a microwave & fridge in the common area. A very comfortable and homey place eith soectacular scenery through the windows.
Cons: It’s a bit far from the town and parking is restricted with hourly rates in the town before 6pm.

Cons: Everything was good. No complaints.
6.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed in a warm room. Plenty of choice and huge helpings for breakfast
Cons: The shower could use a good cleaning, finding a plastic cover for a razor and some rubbish belonging to a previous occupant in the shower does not inspire confidence...some drinking water in the room would not go astray, although there is a room with tea/coffee available.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous older house, classic appointments. Good hospitality.
Cons: All good

Pros: Cute home right outside of Sligo! Very close walk to the city area. Had a great stay!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: St Anthony's is a real old-school small b&b with a personal vibe and decor (there were glowing stars on the bedroom ceiling!), Joe was a wonderful host, friendly and cheerful and even gave us a lift into a great restaurant in the town centre - but it was close enough to walk, really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A fine traditional B&B. More of a continental breakfast, ham, cheese etc, with cereals, toast, coffee - not the full Irish... not a problem... good for the diet! Warm welcome and hospitality.

Pros: Extremely friendly, and incredibly helpful hosts who made me feel very wlecome and comforatble during my stay in Sligo
