When it comes to New England-style beauty, Concord’s Colonial Inn marries the best features of the time period with modernity to produce an amazing experience, especially if you happen to visit during fall foliage season, when the leaves are so brightly colored. At the hotel, there are plenty of things to do including visiting historic Concord homes like those of Louisa May Alcott, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Henry David Thoreau. The hotel is also an ideal place to plan a wedding, or you can enjoy the services of the on-site salon. Liberty, Partners, and Merchant’s Row are on-site restaurants that serve up some of the best food to be found in New England as well. The hotel even has a fitness area and there is a yoga studio nearby.
Staying at the Concord’s Colonial Inn means that you have some incredible accommodations, including 54 different guest rooms in the hotel. The Historic Main Inn has 15 different rooms, including a room in which Henry David Thoreau stayed in, these rooms are beautifully colonial in décor and feature modern amenities like a full size tub and original wide plank floors.
