8.0 Excellent
Pros: I definitely like the location surrounded by nice restaurants and a sports cafe plus a huge Wagmans grocery store only 200 feet away, plus a nice outdoor natural gas fireplace. It is a new modern hotel.
Cons: I have been there a couple of years ago when they had just opened. I loved it so much that I booked it again 3 days ago. I was disappointed this time as just in the room and some of the towels were used, also they forgot to clean the room and change the sheets the next day. Twice the front desk apologized and that was it. If not for those two incidences I would have given this hotel 2 thumbs up.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location is great. nice staff
Cons: bathroom was not as clean as it needed to be. I had to wipe down sink area and floor. There always seems to be A breakfast I did not have on my invoice.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was very convenient to Boston but gar enough away were it was quiet. Rooms where roomy and clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Had a good amount of choices but I've seen better. Overall the style and cleanliness was too notch. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: The pool was a "splash pool" very small and not something you could do laps in. It was refreshing but if my kids were with me they'd be disappointed.
7.0 Good
Pros: Fine hotel. Does not justify the cost, however options are limited in the area. For a new hotel, the sound proofing is subpar. We could hear people walking above, Day and night. I have not had this experience in a long time and certainly not at this price range. Room finishes are a bit cheap. Beds are large and very comfortable.
Cons: Sound proofing is poor. We could hear people walking above. Plastic tub and surround. Flimsy hollow core bath door
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the very beginning with a friendly hostess to accommodating an early check in request. The sweet mints at desk to the pleasant room. Special feels of slippers, robes, rubber duck, bedtime storybooks and the AWESOME SWEET SURPRISES Each day!!! Room was always very well cleaned and resupplied. We will be looking for ARCHER HOTELS IN FUTURE Travels.
Cons: Not one thing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is just beautiful, pictures do no justice.
Cons: Breakfast could be better, food was cold.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the decor, amenities and service for the adults in our party (my husband and I). My 4 year old loved the kids' books in the room (first time we'd seen this), and my 10 month old loved the soft carpet and soft bed edges so she could practice pulling herself up. Breakfast was also great in terms of selection and value for money.
Cons: The battery to the fire alarm in our room was on the fritz so it kept flashing every 20 seconds or so.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, modern, great location to restaurants, and Bars.
Cons: The area where the bar was kinda reminded me of a cafeteria. Poor placement of the bar.

Pros: The beds are awesome.
Cons: Having to pay for breakfast, had to pay 11 dollars a day for breakfast. Even though I'm a Hyatt member and booked through a third party, I didn't qualify for free breakfast. Pros: We attended a college graduation and the Crescent was convenient, clean, a value and comfortable. I’d recommend it to a traveler like us, but it wasn’t really romantic. And there was a kitchen with a refrigerator so we were able to get desert-to-go after dinner at a local restaurant!

7.5 Good
Pros: Overall a good, clean place. And comfortable. And they let me leave a package for a friend to pick up after I checked out.
Cons: The restaurant was not all that. Overpriced, and just kind of meh. I was disappointed by the housekeeping, as when I asked them to not replace my linens every day, they determined that I did not want my room serviced at all. Upon checkout, the front desk couldn't figure out how to split my bill, which made me late.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything as promised. Thank you to booking and Hilton Garden came through in a pinch with the last minute accommodation.

Cons: Pool was a little small and there were obnoxious kids throwing an orange around but that isn’t the hotel’s fault, their parents shoulda shut it down.

Cons: Shower water pressure could have been better. Food was a little salty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, we travel quite often and this was far better than most

Pros: This is my second time staying here and nothing has changed in good way. The hotel is modern and still looks new. The rooms and hotel in general is very clean. Being right off 93 in Medford it’s super easy to get into the city by car and the free parking is great . Being right next Wellington station getting around by T is even easier. Being in a mall complex in Medford there are plenty of fast food options right in the complex as well as 2 other large malls for food and shopping options like Target right across the street . If you don’t want the city, finding places to eat in Medford and Somerville is easy. The in house bar and lounge is Small but perfect if you don’t want to go out at all. I’ve enjoyed my stay here both times and plan on coming back
Cons: The pool is small but really most people don’t come to The Boston area to hang out in the hotel pool. It does it’s job by Being just enough to relax in, but don’t expect to do laps.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the second time that we have stayed at the Inn at Hastings Park. We had a much smaller room this time, but were lucky to even get a room. It was very comfortable with a lovely rain shower and the Nespresso maker with real Half and Half. We especially liked being able to control the temperature in the room and it was quiet. The staff was very helpful and nice to a one. We had dinner and breakfast at Artisty and both were delicious. We highly recommend staying here.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: We were not quoted the correct price. We were charged an additional $70.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simply spectacular! Fabulous in every way: the staff, the breakfast, the room and the decor. I can’t wait to come back to the Boston area so we can stay here again.
Cons: Nothing, it was wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in room 30. Everything was lovely. Only minor bump was the room was above the check-in room door of the hotel and when people (probably unassuming hotel guests) would slam that door, it would rattle the house (and my room). Again, that was only a minor annoyance. What I loved: It was all the little details and obvious heart that went into making sure everything was lovely. The soft robes and comfy slippers, and beautiful tall glass water bottles... it just made me feel pampered. Also, it's the staff's caring and attention to detail. For example, I had a bouquet of flowers and the staff brought a vase to put them in. I let Alex know I would be working, and she brought me a table so I could sit in the window and work next to the natural light. Then the actual experience: All the toiletries (Molton Brown) and little sewing kit, make up remover and cotton pads to remove makeup were such a nice touch! The hotel bar and restaurant (great wine list!) were lovely and the bedding was so comfy! The hotel felt like home but with more pampering. Alex and the staff were attentive and helpful. Everything felt luxurious and well thought out. I will be booking here again.
Cons: Only minor bump was the room was above the check-in room door of the hotel and when people (probably unassuming hotel guests) would slam that door, it would rattle the house (and my room). Again, that was only a minor annoyance.

Cons: Less expensive!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: we stayed a few weeks ago, prior to this one night stop at the end of a busy bus tour of New England and it was like coming back to your own home - total comfort and relaxation .
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect to get to my daughter's graduation
Cons: Breakfast from 8-10 am....by 8;55 it was totally picked over. Only 1 hot choice egg with salmon ( I am allergic)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Seeing and staying in a well preserved/restored period home. The innkeepers were just the right amount of friendly, helpful, and available. My daughter and I really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the evening reading and soaking up the atmosphere.
Cons: Paying for parking seems a little greedy. But then, I am from a small city and do not pretend to understand all the customs of big city parking and its premium.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The stepping back in time feeling was a visual treat. The ambience made our visit feel like visiting someone’s home. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the added bonus of snacks and drinks available throughout the day. It is very easy to get from the airport to the inn using the T Line - just be sure on the green line that you access the compartment with wheelchair access if you have heavy cases, otherwise you have to climb steep steps.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It's located in the best neighborhood. I used to live in Brookline and it still remains my favorite place as it is quiet, friendly and beautiful. Bertram inn is really close to Coolidge Corner, where you would find lots of local stores and restaurants and the famous Coolidge Corner Theater. Definitely the best place to gain some local experience for people who are new to this wonderful town. The facilities in the house are extremely homey and elegant. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, cozy common space... We wish we could stay a bit longer!
Cons: On the first night we found that the water sink was not working properly so we called the staff to fix it. In the afternoon next day we got back and found that some staff were moving our clothes and bags to another room without our knowledge. They then explained to us that the sink needs more time to be fixed and offered another room for us to stay. The staff were all super friendly and even offered us a small refund but maybe they could have notified us before moving our personal stuff...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Traveled with my 12 yr old son; had a late check-in and pull out bed was open and ready for use when we arrived. (So grateful.) Very quiet; couldn’t hear outside traffic from room. Inn was very close to green line stop.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The location was perfect, Coolidge Corner is full of interesting shops and terrific restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful.
Cons: My only complaint was a too soft bed. My mattress at home is firm latex on a board, anything softer is a problem.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of this bed and breakfast is optimal to the area we were traveling to. The amenities were standard and what we expected.
Cons: The bed was not the most comfortable we've slept in. It was what I expected, however, my husband has a bad back and felt it was not supportive enough to his liking.

Pros: Staff is incredible! Service was the best we ever had in a hotel. Access to bikes, kayaks make the visit to Boston such a perfect experience! Rooms are nice and cozy!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location for getting into Downtown Boston for someone familiar with the city
Cons: It might be a little most challenging for someone who doesn’t know the city to deal with the transit options to get to and from the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. And the rooms were very comfortable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything -- the king sized bed was comfy, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. I like to walk barefoot on the carpeted floor and my feet didn't feel dirty afterward, as they sometimes do with hotel rooms. I don't know if it was just not a busy season, but I heard no noise outside of the room. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and I took a quick bike ride using their bike loaner and it was really very nice.
Cons: The location is a bit on the outer edges of Boston and far walk from the train, so we just used a cab the whole time. Also the view I had was inwards towards the building (not outside), but it really wasn't that big of a deal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, charming, clean and comfortable, conveniently located near MIT (with Harvard 2 miles up the road and Boston U across the river). The staff went above and beyond, and Kimpton hotels have a great pet policy!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room. Very nice bed and linen. Comfortable chair.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was nice, the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The cost of the room was high, there wasn’t a complementary breakfast (which was very disappointing for how much I spent for the room), the tiki bar closed an hour early in the common area, and I had to pay for parking in the garage directly below the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Fabulous bed and linens. Hot shower. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent food at the restaurant. Highly recommend
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the location right next to the river. The service was excellent. Friendly hotel! Love the fact they provide yoga mats and yoga videos. Other hotels must learn from this!
Cons: The pillows were a little flat! I would have preferred something with more support! But everything else was perfect

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel decoration and style
Cons: Lack of personel touch at the check-out
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location being so close to Harvard. The room was great and fell a notch above what I was expecting.
Cons: The pool was not part of the hotel but connected and therefore had weird restrictions on kids using the pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Met friends for breakfast. Each person enjoyed the food. Hotel location was perfect. I was in town for the unveiling of a plaque for Car Talk's Tom Magliozzi and a celebration in Harvard Square. Late evening, gathered with friends also staying at The Charles for drinks on your patio. Perfect way to end the night. I travel frequently. The Charles is fast-becoming my new favorite hotel.
Cons: Something odd. When I arrived, the room was very clean, but a twig of some sort was on the bathroom floor. Sort of looked like a twig that would hold grapes. I simply discarded it.
6.3 Good
Pros: The format of the hotel
Cons: The accommodations swimming pool and gym were not available Outdoor terrace was not available for breakfast
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location near to Harvard.
Cons: Very expensive.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is fab, blue bike just outside, easy access to T and Charles river walks.
Cons: The complementary bikes were not great, maybe cause it was summer. But given the Blue bikes, there is no need for it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was in Henrietta's Table - very good with cranberry french toast! Furnishings were classy and windows even opened for fresh air.
Cons: No fan in the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bedding (down comforter, great pillows), and the air quality/climate control were outstanding. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, and the bed was actually more comfortable than my bed and home (and I'm fussy). The pool was excellent.
Cons: No coffee maker in the room. Refrigerator packed with overpriced bar stuff. I was annoyed, but the NY Times outside the door in the morning put the smile back on my face.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is brilliant for Harvard. Staff were very helpful. Beds were super comfortable and bathrooms were amazing.
Cons: You do have to pay pretty steeply for the quality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect. Comfortable place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic. The staff are very helpful.
Cons: There’s nothing I can think of.
5.8 Okay
Pros: location only.
Cons: Whoever designed the place was a moron- paper thin walls, slamming doors- you can hear every conversation in the hallways.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great! Comfy beds, spacious room, good wi-fi! Breakfast was amazing! Nice pool and gym! Good location to visit Boston (15 min drive)
Cons: Very poor room cleaning service! They never clean the room, only towels change! Was really disappointed because they always took tips $ but never clean the floor or tables! Also once they just throw all kids toys (soft dolls) to the floor from the bed (to chance bed linen) and left all the dools laying all around on the floor.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location for exploring Boston. Loved the breakfast/social hour bar.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Brand new property. Very well maintained and nice contemporary design. Staff all very polite. Workout room and laundry facilities very convenient. Pool small but nice. Hot breakfast and light food served in selected nights during the week in the dining area as well. Rooms were spacious and very well laid out including a well equipped kitchen. Location in a business park as are other major brand hotels. Area felt very safe and quiet, and still right near everything in the Needham area. I’d definitely stay again.
Cons: Breakfast not huge (one meat, one potato and an egg option) and not ‘wow’, but definitely more than sufficient with all of the basic choices one would expect including make your own hot waffles.

Pros: Very clean and spacious rooms with up to date amenities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the breakfast. The room was perfect for my son and me. Having easy access to the Wifi helped us keep in touch with the family back home. The people were great, very kind and friendly. Loved the location out here in the Massachusetts countryside. Great place!
Cons: Would have liked to have seen beans, mushrooms, and salmon on the breakfast menu. In other words, something more for vegetarians. But, that is a minor complaint. Our stay was very pleasant.
3.0 Mediocre

7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast and service were wonderful
Cons: The pillows in the room, were so uncomfortable. Unfortunately I did not enjoy a good nights sleep for both the nights we were there. Everything else was wonderful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: How clean and quite the place was.
Cons: Very clean and friendly hotel.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Staff is extremely friendly and hotel is very clean. Prices are really good. Really nice location with nice dining options.
Cons: Beds are absolutely positively horrible. They are supposedly adjustable but it's the cheapest version of adjustability available. It really sucks because the hotel is really nice in every other aspect but when you can't sleep comfortably it kills all the other good feelings you have about the place. I think you should invest in a better adjustable bed or go to a regular mattress because what you have now is just horrible. I stayed for an overnight getaway with my wife for our anniversary and it makes it horrible when the most important thing is extremely uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, convenient. Good restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff

Cons: everything was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, modern and very comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: No exhaust fan in bathroom...growing trend in new places though
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Everything was excellent
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Continental breakfast was amazing with an omelette station. Salt water pool was very relaxing.
Cons: The main reason we booked this hotel was for the two pools and whirlpool options. We were only able to use the outside pool because on the day we went they were filming swim lessons in the inside pool. Also the whirlpool was a big disappointment. My boyfriend and I were in it for no more than 3 minutes before we couldn’t take the chemical smell and our eyes started to burn.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the comfortable bed, air conditioning, modern TV, lots of easily accessible outlets, lobby,, and express checkout drop box.
Cons: Small bathroom and shower soap dish because square soap fell easily through the bars. Also, many vending machines ran out of bottled water.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: I was happy with the location of the hotel away from the busy streets. the lobby was very clean and cheek. They have an inside and out pool which closes at 11 pm.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that I was not able to make coffee because the table where it was placed had no working outlets. I had also asked for a microwave and they had to place it on the night stand because the outlets where not working. I also thought the room service food fee was a bit steep along with the food price. We did mention the outlet issue to the front desk and they acted like it was totally normal. I wear glasses and had to place them on top of a microwave.
6.3 Good
Pros: People are nice. Area is quite. Food was really good.
Cons: · On the day of checkout a piece of wood fell from closet barely missing my 1 year old, cleaning lady heard the noise and saw the piece of wood. I have reported it to booking.com after hotel said they couldn’t do anything about it because I booked thru third party. The air conditioner was not working properly, it was set as low as 50 and it felt 78. The bathroom sink faucet came off while bathing my daughter. Not a great experience, everything has been reported to the hotel and booking.com.

Pros: the room is very spacious; free parking; quiet building and rooms; big bathrooms; free bar near the lobby
Cons: basic breakfast
1.0 Poor
Cons: I tried to contact the hotel and was captive in the phone system, which told me to push one to talk to the desk (or some similar instruction), then put me on hold and played ads, then connected me to the first recording again. Happened 8 times.I gave up.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. The location was perfect with easy access to the major highway.
Cons: I was given a handicap accessible room which I wasn’t thrilled with mainly due to the bathroom and the set up. The room was nice otherwise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It has a salt water indoor pool and the breakfast is amazing with chefs who offer to make you what's not on the buffet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very ultra modern than we are use to but very nice..
Cons: The. Beer offered in their little store was unusual. We never heard of it and did not care for tastes suggest carrying a few Loca ;brands as well
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great to the service and friendly extent that Elizabeth provided us with to the beautiful n comfortable room we got , she also printed out places and take outs for us,my husband enjoyed the amenities more than I did, but we will definitely revisit again.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Where do I begin. Not staying here any more. The rooms are run down door handles falling off door, toilet didn’t work but had to stay in room because hotel was fully booked. Rooms are dirty because cleaning women clean in less than five minutes. Trash in hallway that I had to put out to cleaning staff to take otherwise it would have been left in hallway another day. They have long term stayers that need a welfare check women above me dragged her suite case across the floor for five hours yesterday day before yesterday I didn’t realize she was off so kept complaint of the noise and last night I didn’t get to sleep until 3 because she kept pounding her feet and walking around in what sounded like circles, right now quiet because she is sleeping! Creepy maintenance man, he was told not to bother me my last visit this visit her did it again! Communication is very poor, people don’t remember what you said a minute ago. Last stay not coming back.
Cons: A partial refund! Not trying to get something for nothing but it’s also the quality of services cleanness of the rooms, you simply can’t rent run down rooms, the water with fruit in lobby is totally grossed, and there was coffee smiles and empty cups all over the place. Poorly managed.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The layout of the room was very nice. I enjoyed the space, the modern design and communal space was very comfortable. I appreciate the LEED design elements. It was my first time staying in an Element Hotel.
Cons: The bed wasn’t very comfortable and that’s important. Other than that everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent.
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: DARK room. Room poorly maintained. Window shades almost inoperable, refrigerator missing bottom shelf, bath sink faucet leak.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: In-room facilities
Cons: shower water is too small

Pros: I liked the landscape setting and the roominess.
Cons: Too crowded in the breakfast dining area. It was hard to navigate between tables and chairs.
4.3 Okay
Pros: I missed breakfast due to being over charged and standing at the front desk for over 2 hours. The front desk staff told ne id be refunded with a comped room for her mistake. That never happened my account was over drawn so i could not leave the hotel once i arrived for 18 hrs. I was upset crying and ended up staying in the hospital for days after leaving due to the stress set my body in a thyriod storm. I informed the manager on duty the front desk staff assured me numerous times i would have a compensated room and she told me she could not honor that. The staff at this hotel is horrible with payment process i was not the only person at the desk with the same issues.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable.
Cons: Not informed about deposit.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff ere exceedingly friendly and very efficient at meeting requests for extra room supplies and restocking food for breakfast bar.
Cons: I enjoyed the suite room that we booked but didn't enjoy having the bathroom completely open and visible to the bedroom containing 2 beds which were being occupied. I would have appreciated having the bathroom sink area closed off from the bedroom as the light was disturbing to other guests asleep in the room and did not offer any privacy to the person washing up, etc. in the sink area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the suites. Have all the modern conveniences and comfort, very clean and tidy. 2 flat screen tv's. Love it here.
