We liked the cleanliness of the whole place as well as our room. Very beautiful room and interior design. We liked the beautiful view when when we looked outside.
It started with greeting us: The lady who owns this place was extremely cold and un-welcoming when she greeted us upon arrival. (we really should have read the negative reviews.... which we did while being there and everything written is exactly as it is when you're there) After we went up to our room, we noticed a list of rules in the room (it was forbidden to eat in the room or to use the kettle- but there was no eating area provided either ...). Other guests have told us that they buy food in the super market and then eat it in the official breakfast / common area. We did the same thing, we bought dinner and then ate it in the breakfast/common area (which was open for everyone to enter at any time). While eating our dinner (quietly and we were just having salads, not big feasts) the owner then asked us to basically leave because she wanted to prepare for the breakfast the next morning. It was just crazy because, she then replied to my partner, that she was ONLY supposed to supply a room to sleep for us and NOT A PLACE TO EAT.... Wow, we couldn't believe how rude this lady was. It was just crazy because we had a little baby with us which I was still nursing. From that point on, we were looking very much forward to leave this accommodation as soon as possible... As nice as it is to have beautiful room & view- its not worth being treated rude, cold, inhumane and basically not given the right to eat at the property (except for the very basic breakfast she was providing). We wouldn´t recommend this place. We will not come back.
The owner, Laurence, is very sweet, kind and helpful..the location is beautiful..we had a really wonderful stay!

The bed was very comfortable, the room spacious and clean, the dinner was delicious. We visited Les Bois des Pierres for one night on our way to Bretagne. Our 1.5year old girl loved the garden and the food!
The location. It was quiet, but also close to Honfleur. We really enjoyed the dinner cooked by the owner.
