Have stayed at the Erie Courtyard before, liked it, and was happy to stay again. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. I felt that the A/C was a bit loud for sleeping, and was disappointed that coffee wasn't complimentary with the room charges. But other than those, I was fully satisfied with my stay.

Pros (+) Had a room with a fabulous view of the bay. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Appreciated the additional security measures in the building. Had breakfast at the onsite bistro, it was an excellent meal at a decent price. Got to take a dip in the indoor pool and hot tub. You could pay $12 to park in the garage or park free in the open lot. It was a bad weather weekend so I paid for the garage a...
Cons (-) While we were staying at the hotel, another very large group was there. The ratio of adults to youth was minimal and the youth took over the hotel. At one point there were over 50 people in a pool that has a maximum limit of 19, when the pool closed at 11pm they took to the hallways and set off the fire alarm around 11:30pm, and they were still out running the stairwells at 1am.

Pros (+) So clean and fresh. The waterfront view is exceptional. The amentities were very nice.
Cons (-) Restaurant food was good, service was kinda slow. The buffet was expensive for what was on offer. In other similar hotels, that kinda of breakfast was included in your stay. Also, the Bistro in the lobby only opened at 7am....too late for some folks who start their day much earlier than 7am.

Pros (+) Location - close to main road and shopping
Cons (-) Staff weren't overly friendly, only one out of many we ran into greeted us. Room was musty, water was like warm for shower. No breakfast included and paid $189 cad. Just overall we could have went to a budget motel for same experience. The Baymont down the road was incredible all around for a wonderful experience. Will try to go back there instead.
