Anonymous, Sep 2025 - Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Gaslamp/Convention Center
Front Entrance and Lobby is underwhelming. It looks like a side entrance with 1 person manning the small Front Desk next to a Juicer. The rooms are extremely small with the lower floors having a view of concrete walls. They refused my request for a late checkout.

Tiny room (200sf) staring at a blank wall and the roof of the next building- barely enough room for two people to move around and no counter space for toiletries in the BR.

We received an upgrade to a city view. SD is beautiful but this view isn't the best. If we stay there again we will be on the other side of the hotel since the street noise is heard throughout the night. The staff was excellent

Room was the size of a closet and it was nearly impossible to get a housekeeper to clean the room even after asking twice. Won’t make the mistake of staying there again!

Pros (+) The location was easily accessible to the freeway
Cons (-) I wish I had known they are under construction...I would have booked elsewhere.

Pros (+) Pool
Cons (-) Room status -in 4 nights stay had to request bathroom light be fixed as well as toilet. When room was “cleaned” daily you could tell counters were not wiped down. Disappointed to be honest Peking fees are atrocious. Location not in the city but barged $27USD per night
