Pros: Wonderful location. Beautiful grounds. Easy access to downtown. I 'll come back and recommend it to others
Pros: Quiet place close to downtown. Easy walking distance to restaurants and theater.
I loved my room and wished that I could have stayed longer.
Will stay again the next time I'm in Eugene.
Pros: Very close to downtown restaurants and the staff are very knowledgeable. Clean, cozy and a glass of wine in the evening. What more could I ask for. I plan to return.
Cons: The bed was a bit high off the ground and the step ladder only on one side of the bed. I moved the night light to the bathroom to remind myself not to fall off the bed!
Pros: Beautiful historic b&b
Cons: There was some plumbing issues and privacy doesn't feel as good as when you're in a hotel.
Pros: Beautiful historic property in great locaton! Excellent service and very comfortable. Included a glass of wine at arrival to sip on whIle enjoying the lush lawn and landscaping. Also came with a full-service breakfast. Woder full value!
Cons: We couldn't stay longer was the only downside!
Cons: I was not expecting our room to be in a basement. It was comfortable and there were windows but the bathtub would not drain properly.
Pros: We received an exceptional deal while searching for last minute accommodations through Priceline via Kayak. The Campbell Inn was as described as a majestic ole home on the edge of downtown Eugene. Courteous staff, great breakfast and other nice touches made a quick night's stay a more enjoyable evening than we planned! We'll come back when we're in town and will recommend it to friends.
Pros: I booked this B&B last minute instead of a major chain. My room was small but very comfortable and the bed was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the grounds were beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be back!
Pros: Everything was just so and the staff were great!
Pros: Loved our stay! Doesn't feel generic like a chain hotel and they keep very very good care of it. Nice and clean and warm! Great location close to downtown but no street traffic of downtown. The best continental breakfast you'll ever get. Amber at the front desk was super!
Pros: Everything was thoughtfully executed, a true pleasure..
Cons: Waitresses were not to the level of the house
Pros: The building is so quaint and beautiful. When we walked up to the door it felt so alive and homey with the lucious landscaping. The free wine on check-in was such a nice surprise, as well as the made to order sweet or savory breakfast. We were here for a family getaway, but it would be a perfect place for a romantic getaway. Definitely a must stay!
Cons: The only thing we were upset about were the negative reviews regarding this place. It's not your hip downtown hotel, but a definite for the relaxation of Eugene provides.

Pros: Staff were very accommodating. Allowed for very early check in and we used their complimentary car service multiple times. Would definitely come back.
Pros: We have been coming to Eugene for the last two years because our son goes to school there. This is the first time we stayed at the Inn and loved it. We met the owner Brian in the elevator and he graciously welcomed us and made us feel at home. Everyone who worked there was truly welcoming and struck up a conversation with us. The rooms were spotless. Very highly recommended.
Pros: Loved everything about this hotel. The room was very large with a sitting area dining area and a very large bathroom with double sinks! The room also had a working fire place and a very comfortable bed! The room was exceptionally clean and we didn't want to leave. The feel of the hotel is luxurious as soon as you walk in the lobby. The outside does not do the hotel justice. Absolutely worth the value.
Cons: There seemed to be a train beat by and we could hear the horn several times during the night.
Inn at the 5th offers a free airport shuttle (available on request) and puts you within a 10-minute drive of Autzen Stadium and Matthew Knight Arena. You can visit the spa to indulge in massages, body scrubs, or aromatherapy, and Marche serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like iPod docks, bathrobes, and pillowtop beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.
Pros: Fantastic staff. Rooms were cozy, clean, and the beds are oh so comfy. The free breakfast is quite tasty. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant otherwise, but I have a feeling we will be back again...
When you stay at Excelsior Inn, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of University of Oregon and McArthur Court. For a bite to eat, guests can check out Ristorante Italiano, which serves Italian cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and all rooms offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: I loved that this hotel was right off the freeway, access to many restaurants in walking distance, friendly staff, and the rooms were clean. We were also traveling with our dogs and they had a little treat for them on arrival and they had a pet area for them as well.
Cons: There really wasn't anything we didn't like ... our experience was a positive one.
Pros: The room was very clean and stocked with everything I needed...blow dryer, refrigerator, coffee maker, extra soap and shampoo and plenty of soft, absorbent towels. The location was perfect for me, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was helpful and polite. The internet was fast and free. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: There was no way to darken the room. There was only a light transparent curtain so no way to block out the street lights at night. Free breakfast would have been nice...

Pros: Easy to get just about anywhere. Clean and a friendly staff
Cons: Seemed a bit pricy for the amenities
Pros: Room was clean and welcoming. Has mini fridge, large not small box. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and new looking. Carpet is older and stained but you don't go to a place for the carpet.
Cons: Wish smokers weren't smoking just outside their rooms but I guess that can't be helped :P
Pros: The staff was great! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great downtown location. I will stay there again!
Cons: Parking could be a challenge. Construction on the road was a bit of a pain, but nothing Downtown Inn can do about that!

Pros: This hotel is very clean and new. Nico at the front desk went out of his way to help us with information regarding our tour of the University of Oregon. Nico does a great job of providing superior customer service! This hotel is a great place to stay if you're visiting the University of Oregon, it is literally across the street.
Pros: Like many of the hotels located on Franklin Blvd, I would assume the rates are increased anytime there is some kind of event being held at the U of O. I paid $174.00 per night plus fees...and it was not a football weekend. A fair price would have been around 119.00 to 149.00 per night. That said, it is a nice clean hotel

Pros: The bed was very comfortable. We had a better night's sleep than we have in a very long time.
Cons: There were notes written from the previous guest on the notepad, there was used soap and shampoo in the shower, and there was old food in the refrigerator.
Pros: The hotel room is large and roomy. Bathroom is big and clean. love the free movie option.
Cons: Location is a little remote, but not a big deal if you have a car.

Cons: Little out dated, could use updates.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. pool was clean and well managed. They surprised us with a goodie bag Christmas morning!
Pros: Clean, generous sized room, comfy beds with excellent free breakfast! Very friendly, warm staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort and needs were met. Will return!
Pros: Great breakfast!
Pros: Well, hotel room was clean and pretty spacious.
Cons: Staff wasn't too friendly. We had to wait for awhile at the front desk while a lady was just sitting and doing something without greeting us.
Pros: It was a very nice hotel!!!
Pros: A pleasant surprise. The room was clean, bed comfortable and Hoterl Employee was very hospitable. The only negative was the noisy heater/air conditioner. We would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Room and breakfast
Pros: The staff was very nice and they were able to provide rooms (3) for our family that were in close proximity. The rooms were clean. Good variety of items available for the breakfast.

Pros: Staff was extremely friendly! Bed was clean and comfortable after I realized it was a adjustable bed. Haha. Room was very clean. Close to everything you could need. Wifi worked great. Loved the fact the lock up after 11, and you need Couldn't have asked for a better stay.
Cons: My only thing I thought was odd was charging 10 for the hot breakfast. The rooms are not cheap so it would've been nice for the breakfast to be included. Just was surprising. Never stayed at a hotel that charged for breakfast before. But definitely not a deal breaker.

Pros: We liked the pool. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was professional.
Cons: They advertised a free shuttle to the airport but didn't have it available till later then our need of one at 4:15 am. We had to pay an extra $30 we had not anticipated. Taxi took long way to airport telling us it would be faster. It wasn't. Our choice of this hotel was made on having a shuttle available, so we were disappointed.
Pros: Very helpful staff. Alex at front desk was great. Loved the breakfast.
Cons: Some faulty vending machines
Pros: Nice checkout time
Cons: My car almost got towed because the staff neglected to give me a parking pass. Did not know one was needed so that would have been a huge bummer
Was a bit pricey also
Bummer that the jacuzzi jets were not working
Pros: The staff were friendly, the room was super clean and well kept, the complimentary breakfast and shuttle service to and from the airport was a huge plus too.
Pros: Loved how close it was to nearby bars and university. Make sure you stop by voodoo donut, well worth it. Staff was nice and professional and gave us good recommendations.
Pros: Location was great and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Wasn't very clean and small bathrooms
Pros: The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and it's a great location within walking distance of the University of Oregon campus. Couldn't really ask for more.
Pros: Great staff, very helpful and hospitable, from front desk to breakfast staff to housekeepers. Great breakfast with lots of choices.
Cons: Walls a bit thin - late groups being loud in the hallway.

Pros: They were ready for us when we arrived at 1 pm.
Pros: The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: TV didn't seem to connect to cable very well. If I was really interested in watching, I would have to have called the front desk for assistance.
Pros: Friendly staff, quick check in, plenty of choices for breakfast, location close to freeway exit but not so close that traffic kept us awake.
Cons: Toilet ran so we heard it refill it's tank occasionally through the night. We told them at checkout and they said maintainance would fix it immediately.
Pros: The room and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was better than average.
Cons: The heat/air conditioning unit did not work properly and had no instructions. The staff was unfamiliar with how it works. I asked for a wakeup call that I did not receive.
Hotel was fine; the inconvenience was with the kind of reservation we found once we got there.
Pros: Close to the highway.
Cons: Reservation turned out not to be a double queen bed. It seems that the hotel will try to charge us for the difference. Not sure if you can do something about it as your booking system assumes all reservations are double.
Pros: Nice staff and was the cheapest around
Cons: It feels like the cheapest motel around. They also hold a $100 on my card for a week.
Pros: The pet room was right around the corner from a nice grassy area for the dogs.
They said it was a U of O game week and was take or leave the room.I will not give them a dime more of my money. I was working on a voluntary building project of a Kingdom Hall church, so I pay and stayed. The owner clearly made it knowen that he could rent the room to some one else so what did I want to do.
Cons: A light cord shorted out when I first entered room and turned on the light above the bed. Cord flashed and burnt into. They put me in another, it was smaller and did not adjust room price or comp me a night. The clerk said owner would not do so.
Pros: close proximity to the ducks home game labor day weekend.
The pool was VERY small and not in an optimal location, but the hotel itself isn't that big so I guess it makes sense. The room was clean, for the most part, but there was some light dust here and there, such as on the coffee maker. Upon arrival and opening the door, the room smelled VERY musty; we had to leave the AC and the door open in order to vent it out. It is one of two 'hotels' in the area, and the other isn't that much better,so in terms of convenience it works, but I would probably book a room in Eugene, OR, which is like 15 min away.
Pros: The front desk staff and room service staff were very nice and helpful.
Cons: The room did not have a microwave or a small fridge. The bed frame seemed to be hand-made out of wooden palettes - I checked after I hit my leg/ankle (which left a HUGE black bruise) on a piece that was sticking out and not noticeable due to the covers.

Cons: We were supposed to look at the courtyard but we were looking at a roof and a wall.
Pros: Close to freeway access, gas stations and restaurants. Quiet location.
Cons: A bit obscure to find even if you were using smart phone navigation. It is in the middle of other motels and businesses and a little difficult to get through the street maze.
Pros: The hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly.
Cons: Perhaps the location but not bad overall.
Pros: staff very friendly & professional, room was clean
Cons: AC room unit was loud at night, but not that big a deal
Pros: close to restaurants and coffee. Easy access off of freeway.
Cons: We asked for late check out because we arrived very late and they were only able to give us to 12pm
Pros: Price and location
Cons: This room had a single king bed. We had two people that wanted separate beds. Although rooms were available, the hotel refused to move us
Pros: Staffs are very nice.
Cons: The price can be lower.
Pros: The entire facility was spotless. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was great.
Pros: We loved the layout of the room with the bed facing the windows and the small sofa for reading/relaxing. The lobby was also inviting with a TV lounge area and business center. Everything was very clean, we were impressed with this hotel.
Cons: It would have been nice if the clerk had thanked us for staying when we checked out, or at least said have a nice day. Instead, he just handed us our receipt and said 'here you go.' That's not an appropriate way to say good-bye to a guest. (my opinion)
Pros: Good Springfield location: easy to find, near freeway access without noise, near restaurants although mostly fast food types. Access to computer and printing facility although not separate form lobby and fairly noisy without privacy. In-lobby Starbucks.
Cons: Paid for 3 plus star hotel because I looked forward to spa and swimming pool for sore back after drive and conference. No robe provided for long walk to pool which had no dressing room. 'hot'tub was only tepid and jets didn't work. Staff unable to fix.
Stopped in after a long road trip. We loved the location and hotel so much we extended our stay. Never thought j would have been that excited to stay in Eugene.
Pros: Cleanliness and location
Cons: Not at all
Pros: The staff were consistently and universally welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Great customer service made this average hotel exceptional.
Cons: While the hotel was clean and taken care of the outdated carpeting needed a good shampooing.

Pros: We stayed one night at the Timbers and it was just fine. It's an older motel but located very close to campus. The room was comfortable and clean.
Pros: The Timbers has a good location in downtown Eugene, parking, and a room that are nicer than you might expect. You would guess that it will be another cookie-cutter hotel room, but it actually had some character.
Cons: We stayed on New Year's Eve, and there were some people partying directly above us that night. I don't fault the hotel much for this, but it was still annoying.
Pros: Love the wood floors loved the size of the room and great location
Cons: Heater didn't work right breakfast is yuk
Pros: I liked the cleanliness, the ambiance, the exquisite taste in decorating, the all wooden floors, and the great attitude of the desk personnel!!! A plus for this unnasuming motel in Eugene!!! It is a little gem in a sea of crappy motels! Thank-you Timbers!!!
Cons: There was nothing at all that I didn't like! Excellent value for your money!!
Pros: The room was spacious. The name of the motel probably tells you but I wanted to emphasize that it's a very nice looking "wooodsy" motel decor. The exterior is made of painted cedar boards and a massive beam look;, the 2nd floor rooms have vaullted ceilings constructed of exposed beams holding an exposed and good-looking cedar board roof deck-ceiling. The floors are finished oak. The overall feeling is very nice.
We had a king-sized bed, and it was comfortable,
Cons: It advertises free breakfast -- which turns out to be a rather Spartan like affair, mostly a continental breakfast snack.
Pros: Beautifully renovated interior with mostly new furnishings and decor. Lock was not the safest on the door; it was the original lock and only locked partially on some settings. Free hbo channel. Could be $10-$20 cheaper for the location and size but for a just passing thru stay it was perfect.
Cons: Location, door lock, price ( but it was far cheaper than the other liveable motel/hotel options). Watch billing- orbitz told me 1 night and the motel 3 nights- they fixed it but just double check to be safe!
Pros: A nice and clean place that was very nice for the price range.
Cons: The shower never got "super hot".
Pros: Love the idea of a motor lodge that gives five star service.
Pros: It's location was great
Cons: The room was cramped and the fridge did not work
Pros: the beds were very comfortable. the room more spacious than the pictures represented. excellent downtown location easily walkable to shops and restaurants.
Cons: although very clean, the hotel could use a face lift. not a luxury hotel, but a good bargain for a last minute booking
Timbers Motel puts you within a 10-minute drive of McArthur Court and Matthew Knight Arena. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 10 AM. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The room was clean and big. Itnwas nice to have a balcony. The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Not really.
Pros: The staff was great and the room was clean! Beds were comfortable and the balcony was a very nice place to relax.
Cons: The television news stations were FOX and CNN. There was no MSNBC. This choice of programming does not serve all customers.
Pros: really nice, great breakfast
Cons: the elevator needs updating
Pros: The swimming pool and the breakfast.
Cons: Broken door and general cleanliness.
Pros: Spacious and well furnished rooms (on the west side the rooms have nice balconies). The outdoor pool was nicely maintained and large enough to accommodate a number of guests on a hot day. Staff was efficient and friendly.
Cons: Hot water temperature dangerously high.
Pros: Staff was helpful&friendly. Hotel is nice, with a bit of unfinished remodel/maintenance needed in some rooms. I had to be moved to a new room due to this problem.(broken toilet seat lid). Nothing that would make your stay unpleasant. Good breakfast bar
Cons: For the price of the rooms I would expect to not find missing floorboard runners, broken toilet seats, nonworking coffeepot, broken door jamb, & loud poor running refridgerator. The STAFF definitely makes up for cosmetic problems...They are the stars!
Pros: The spacious room with a refridgerater, microwave, coffee, and free wi-fi! The service was great, and the breakfast was nice! All around, a good experience.
I would stay here again. Room was large and well appointed. Nice seating area for visiting.
Pros: Clean, Nice appearance, Friendly Staff
Cons: Balcony had lots of spider webs and the grill was off of the AC unit, leaning against the unit.
Pros: Conveniently located. Room was spacious and clean. It was evident they were upgrading the rooms. Great internet access
Cons: Cluttered parking lot with remodeling supplies. They needed a second desk person in the AM for check out. Towel rack was falling down.
The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and very short driving distance of many others. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. The room was amazing. Much more than expected and was very clean and spacious. The furnishings were nice and the extras included were a nice touch. Hot chocolate for the little one and coffee for my wife and I. This is a place that we would definately stay again should the need arise.
Pros: The friendly hotel staff and the clean room.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.
Pros: Newly renovated, clean, fair price.
Cons: Amenities not within walking distance.

Pros: Luxurious bed. Clean. Nice shower. Good water pressure. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
Cons: I did not like constantly hearing the sound of water rushing through the pipes. It kept me up most of the night. When I checked out, the guest in front of me told the person behind the desk that he and his family hardly slept because of the sound of the water in the pipes.
He suggested you insulate the walls.
Cons: We oiled hear loud neighbors lol night talking and banging furniture against our common wall. Walls didn't appear to be very sound proof.
Pros: It was clean and had an easy check in and out. The pool and hot tub were nice.
Cons: The shower didn't work and would not get hot either.
Pros: The desk staff was friendly and overall helpful
Cons: Rooms are dark and smelly. Feels dirty. Tiny, scratchy towels with a bar of soap and cheap combo bottle of shampoo/conditioner. Parking lot overcrowded especially with uhauls and trucks. Fitness center was a treadmill and broken down combo equipment piece. Pool cloudy and smelly. Far overpriced for a "motel 6" place.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Nice clean rooms. Great location by the park.
Pros: Breakfast was good. Found some long black hairs in bed& shower (not ours). Staff left dirty coffee cups & old coffee on counter.
Pros: Computer room
Cons: Maintenance guy doing loud repairs in stairwell next to room before 9 am Sunday morning. I am a marine painter/blaster that works long hours multiple days of the week. I was looking for a late start to my day Sunday morning. Rude!
Pros: I like staying here but before I had a chance to shower the main water line broke...stuff happens..
Overall a nice hotel, just unlucky break!
Pros: The room was nice and large and had enough space for two people to stay comfortably. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner kept room cool. Continental breakfast was good. Coffee was good.
Cons: Bed cover too heavy. Was almost no counter space at sink. Air conditioner rattled. Continental breakfast food barely warm. Very crowded dining area. Parking lot was too small for this hotel. I could not find a place to park after returning from dinner with my family.
Pros: The front desk staff was great! The facility was okay. Parking was pretty tight
Cons: There was some dirty pillow cases on the bed. The ceiling over the shower was very moldy. Overall it was okay.

Pros: The Hilton is located in a great place, is clean, and is much nicer than your average motel.
Cons: The service at the restaurant is terrible. The food is okay. The room is just better than okay. We are Hilton honors members and shouldn't have had to pay for parking, but after we left our emailed bill said we were charged. I guess I get to make that call later.
Cons: I got charged $19 for parking. Unaware this would be the case.
Pros: It is located at almost the center of downtown and you can simply walk to almost anything. The standard king size room I was given was nice and clean as well.
Cons: I am fine with almost everything except with how Hilton and the staff handled my situation with the room. I originally booked the King Executive Jr suite. However, when I got there, they said there was a problem with the toilet in the room that they sold it to me. As a result, I was only given the choice of a double queen room or a standard King size room. I asked about other King exec suites but they said they cannot change to others. I then asked about the big price difference between the available rooms and if I can be compensated or refunded in anyway. They said they can't refund and they simply gave me a coupon (worth 35 dollars total for 2 people) for breakfast and free parking that is worth like 20 dollars. I was then put into a stand King room. Totally a joke. Super disappointed on how they dealt with my situation.
Pros: The friendly staff gave us an upgrade to a corner room and it was very spacious. The bed was wonderful and the coffee in the room was better than what they served in the restaurant!! Nice fridge and coffee pot in the room. The updates were all nice too!
Cons: When I booked online, they didn't state the extra charges. Parking - $17 per night, Pet fee - $50 and the restaurant food was spendy too! If I had been aware of these fees, I would have been able to compare rates better with other hotels. Other than that, I would have given this place a 5.
Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful staff, tidy and clean, upgraded finishes, nice place.
Cons: The trains....
