8.3 Excellent
Pros: Historical, quiet, comfortable
Cons: Nothing, property was great, everything coming into bloom. Access to the pool would have been nice, covered up because of poor weather
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet location. Only short drive into Digby. Property was very well kept.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Management and staff were wonderful. Lots of help planning our stay. Breakfast was wonderul. Buffet that included eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal, etc. Lovely sunroom to enjoy your meal. Quiet location.
Cons: We stayed in an upstairs unit not in the main house. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. Only one bedroom had an air conditioning unit in it. The weather was unusually warm during our stay. Since the windows had been open to cool the upstairs area - many bugs had gotten in to the bathroom area especially. Rooms did not offer a comfortable chair to sit in.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: We stayed in Winchester house with the bathroom on the main floor and the bedroom 15 steps up to the second floor. The house is a story and a half, so the bedroom ceilings were sloped. One needed to be careful not to bang your head.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was superb. I also really liked the breakfast room/layout. This facility is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming.
Cons: The only thing for me was the distance from Digby and the fact you had to go on the highway to get there.

Pros: Huge television. Centrally located.
Cons: Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Kitchen supplies were lacking and/or poor quality. Outside of room stairs smelled like an open sewer. Lots of road noise.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The restaurant.
Cons: WiFi did not work properly, room was very warm, AC was a window unit that only cooled a portion of the room. Found hair in pull-out sofa bed sheets, room only had one small window, it felt like we were in a basement. The view from the window was a wall and it made the room very dark. Hallway smelled like seafood. The room was not worth the price we paid.

Pros: Very nice room, beds were extremely comfortable. Much nicer inside than it appears from the outside.

Pros: Very clean, added touches, such as coffee makers on each floor. Bathrooms fully stocked. Property outside had beautiful sitting areas. Victorian style house was a beautiful place to spend the night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location right on the harbor overlooking the scallop fleet was fine. The B &B itself is in a well-preserved old mansion, nicely furnished. The hosts were friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions.
Cons: The breakfast was a surprise, because we were not asked our preferences, but were served a standard breakfast with bacon and sausage, which neither my husband or I can eat. We would recommend that the hosts consider asking if there are food preferences or allergies.

7.0 Good
Pros: The main areas were very grand and stately. The grounds were lovely. The restaurant food and service were excellent.
Cons: Our bathroom was quite dated and needed some repair. Plastic drinking cups and paper coffee cups were not in keeping with the grand feel of this hotel. The carpeting in our room needed to be restretched, there were ripples all over, causing trip hazards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Beautiful property. Bathrooms need an update but they were spotless.
Cons: It is a golf resort so they don’t have a lot for kids or teenagers todo other than swim. It’s about 60-90 minutes away from whale watching excursions and I strongly suggest families do it. The restaurant is great my only complaint is the salads are pretty basic and there are not many options for folks with dietary restrictions. The chef is great at taking requests and accommodating which I found outa little later in my stay.

Pros: I ate breakfast elsewhere since it was not included. good location. The architecture of the rooms and foyer.

Pros: Great staff, location, and property. Had all the charm and regal stature of a stay at chateau lake Louise and Jasper Park Lodge rolled into one with a fantastic Maritime view! Definitely worth the stay and would love to return and take in more of the wonderful amenities at the property. The pool is great and the open air space was very nice for both a moonlight or morning dip! Rooms overlook Digby bay and what a view! Restaurant on site is excellent and also has a great view and ambiance. Breakfast was not included but had very good buffet offerings (eggs Benny!) and kids under 6 eat free!

Pros: Sites around the area were fantastic! Food in the area was spectacular.
Cons: When I booked it said "Wale Watch from your deck" there was no deck, also to whale watch at all you have to go out of the marina, whales do not swim in an area like this. Had to go 1/2 mile from the suite to check in, this was not now ahead of time, the woman at check in and out was "snippy" would never ever stay at this place again. Rooms did not look at all like the photos online.

Cons: Room was basic, breakfast was basic
5.8 Okay
Pros: Central and good location for Whale watching! Beds werde comfortable. Nice lady who did the queck in!
Cons: Everything was okay, but not for that price. The house is old and you can see that everywhere. For example we couldn't open windows. Plus the breakfast was very, very easy. Totally okay, but still not for the price we had to pay for one night (ecpecialy when you compare it with other B&B).
6.3 Good
Pros: The people were fantastic! And the beach a 2 min drive down the road was a nice bonus, saw lots of whales from the dock so if you do go here take a drive to the beach.
Cons: As other reviews have stated, it is an old building so it smells like an old church. Anyone with allergies should avoid this place. Not that its filthy because it isn't, but the couch that was in room 1 and the carpet need to go. The couch itself is very very musty/moldy smelling. The WIFI is non existent, there is no where handy to eat so bring snacks or some premade food. There is no coffee maker on site to even make yourself a cup of coffee.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful porch for relaxing. Have to admit, we were too busy sightseeing to make use of porch.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. It was a long drive from the Portland ferry, but that is not the fault of the inn.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Very isolated, nowhere to eat nearby. Musty smell when you walked in. Had booked queen sized bed but none available. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left after 1 and won't be back and wouldn't recommend this establishment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and cozy
Cons: A vending machine for cold drinks would have been nice.
