excellent staff, good sized room, well designed and clean hotel, good breakfast. Access to the underground car park could be better organised and signed
THe excellent waiter. Closing the pool at 8 p.m. seems restrictive.
Very warm welcome, room fine. Location (after Mont Blanc tunnel) ideal for travelers heading for central Italy from Cherbourg. Pet friendly: of particular value to us because we were traveling with a cat. Ease of making a reservation for our return journey to Cherbourg in September. It is a pity (see about cat) that there is so much construction work around the hotel that encroaches on the grounds.
IT'S ALL REALLY GOOD Maybe the swimming pool could be enlarged a little bit, and the hotel, even if it's really beautiful, could seem a little expensive
Secure free underground garage. Super room. Good food and service. Needs a bigger sign on the main road as it is set back and easy to miss. Bathroom was a triumph of design over practicality. However it was spotlessly clean and large.
The room was a good size and comfortable Unenthusiastic welcome as reception - limited restaurant menu - food average quality
A nice hotel, parking was actually free, not the 8 Euros advertised, clean and tidy quite large room Jacuzi was cold so not what I expected, a good 15 min walk to the town centre, a nice hotel, but just not 4 star quality. only 1 person on the reception, happy to do thier job but not over friendly, and the room faced the train line a few meters away, so was quite noisy at night. Still, a "nice" hotel, nothing special.
Very stylish and cosy hotel. Exceptional architecture.
Hotel was clean and warm and staff were friendly. Location was further out of the town than expected. Breakfast service was slow and frustrating - kept running out of clean tables, bowls, cutlery, food on the buffet.
Clean rooms, pleasant staff and good location to access the gondolo for Pila. Also very nice to get back to hotel after a hard days sking and chill out in the warm waters of the pool and jacuzzi.
Very helpful staff, clean, calm enviroment, plenty of public lounge space, good sized rooms. As we were staying for 7 nights we were upgraded which made a real difference to our stay and was a welcomed gesture. There is building going on adjacent to the hotel which spoilt our view. This will impact on the view of many rooms. The breakfasts were truly awful and not what we expect from a 4 star hotel though they improved slightly towards the end of our stay.
The Hotel Diana is modern, clean and well-situated. The staff is attentive. The price is reasonable. Our stay was perfect.
Loved the hotel from the moment we walked in and had a nice reception. Rooms were well appointed with the most enormous beds. Fabulous views from the windows Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for some essential work but the buffet breakfast was great.
A comfortable modern hotel, situated some distance from the town of Aosta on the other site of the motorway. Very peaceful, on-site restaurant and bar. Rather difficult to locate. A GPS or much patience is required.
Comfortable room, very helpful staff, high quality dining. Not a wide choice of dishes on the menu.
welcoming ad more or less what we expected A bit far out from the town
Nice decoration, hotel, breakfast, service, clean room. Just 5 min by car to the Pila-Aosta ropeway (cabinovia) and to the city. Nice garden in a nice residential area. Free parking of the hotel.
good location for town center, easy access to Valle D'Aosta, nice cheap and cheerful hotel.
Parking available. No elevators to help carry heavy luggage.
Breakfast only fair,no fresh fuit, cofee out of machine
Poor location on very noisy road across from steel factory. Traffic and people noise until past midnight. Did not have elevator. Breakfast poor. Would rate as 6.5.
I liked the location and price. The continental breakfast was very nice. The room was nice and clean. The air conditioning was a bonus, even though the weather was pleasant. I would stay here again. The only thing that I did not like was the placement of the shower plumbing. The shower space was small, and the controls for the hot/cold water reduced the available space.
Good location for train and bus stations and not far to centre. Poor breakfast.
Peace and quiet People judge by appearances, I felt I wasn't the type of client they were looking for but I don't care what people think. They get on with their perceptions, I get on with my life.
Near to lovely town. Pleasant hotel. No
Satisfied with the service and the people who worked in the hotel.Recommended
the staff the room and location
clean, friendly staff, good position to visit the town center.
Very friendly staff. Good location with parking for people with their own transport. Well organised, clean tidy and spacious room. Near a road but little traffic and little noise. Nothing really, we would and will return again.
tranquility and courtesy
Very friendly people, expensive to get there expensive tolls.
small, friendly and safe. Helpful staff, central location for driving around valle d'aosta. Parking is within the hotel yard adn free. not really, however the hotel is detached from the main town so there is not much to do in the evening, if you still have the energy !
beautiful locatation, very helpful staff, great breakfast, would stay again
The location was very good, close to the shopping area of Aosta and the train/bus stations. We were 3 adults, and we were given a quadruple room, which was basically 2 connected rooms, which were comfortable. The lady at the reception was very helpful and gave a lot of tourist info. Breakfast was good, with a little variety, but not much compared to some other hotels in Italy. The view from the room was amazing. There was no air-conditioning and so we had to keep the window open at night. The street below had a lot of traffic and pedestrians, even until the early hours of the morning, so sleep was very disturbed. The gentleman at the reception is a bit rude and does not try to understand English.
it was very close to transport; it was clean and quiet; always felt welcome douring my stay
Central location in Aosta, within walking distance of all major sights within the town. Room was spacious. Was a little expensive for a fairly basic room.
Very friendly reception and breakfast staff.
Excellent staff, V. helpful and pleasant. Central position close to railway/bus station which was useful for me as I arrived by train and departed by bus. Yes, I do not like being charged to link to wi-fi with my own laptop. This service should be offered free to hotel guests using their own laptops.
Staff were very cheerful and helpful, especially in the breakfast room. View of the mountains from the bedroom was fantastic. Maybe a little bit pricy, but the town does not seem to have many cheaper alternatives
Close to city centre, clean and warm, freindly staff.
friendly and helpful desk clerks. great breakfast. and wonderful location. thanks. no
Great location, staff, price and breakfast. Comfortable, clean hotel.
Staff was very nice. Friendly and helpful. There was a lot of street noise even though this was not a large city. Noisy tourists talking loudly in the street late at night.
Good food in the restaurant, comfortable room, short walk to the old town.
The staff were pleasant and helpful and most of them spoke English. Transport to the opera was very good and we were very pleased that the hotel organised for the driver to pick us up two hours early when the opera was abandoned due to a horrific thunderstorm. Meals were very good. useful advice was given about buses in the area which, although the bus stop was a short walk away, ran every ten minutes and were only 1 euro 20 however long the journey.
commodious rooms, hotel close to the city center. clean but not in details (see hotel entrance with many human imprint on the lift wall :((( , unwashed tv telecomande; poor break-fast; the romms faced to the main street are a little bit noise. Summarizing is a not a 4 stars hotel in all details.
It's location and cost make it ideal for a stop over between Geneva and central Italy The room was a bit musty when we arived but it didn't detract from our stay
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The place was clean and the rooms a good size.
Very poor selection (all cakes and biscuits!!) for breakfast. What little bread there was, was stale.
Enjoyed the stay at Hotel Norden Palace very much. Stay was part of our nine weeks away from Australia visiting our youngest son and his family in Milan. Aosta was a delightful City, and the bus service excellent. Well worth a visit. Safe didn't work
Good location, 10 min to city centre, parking area in front of the hotel, good breakfast, rooms very clean, good hotel for city trip
The staff was very nice, the parking facility, the room very clean and confortable; the location.
views were stunning ,breakfast which was included in the price was excellent ,able to walk to centre of town
friendly staff, great location, comfortable room,we will be returning
Well located on the main road to St Bernard tunnel. A nice village to stroll through. Breakfast was a bit chaotic.
The Hotel & staff were both very welcoming and the staff were fluent in English. We planned our stops in advance and used the Hotel as a stop-over. To find a Hotel of this calibre in effectively the middle-of-nowhere, at the end of season was very satisfying
Good location, charming appearance, clean and functional. Relatively cheap. The coffee for breakfast was lousy. It is not suitable for a 3 star hotel to offer its guest luke warm instant coffee from an automat like another youth hostel or gas station!
Helpfulness of staff, value for money, good breakfast, access to international TV channels
The mountain location was beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable.
the location was awesome, the breakfast was great, the staff were very kind and helpfull. they said that they could not turn on the heat...????
We had a very large room with a terrace. Mountain views were excellent. Dinner at the restaurant was nice as well as breakfast. And all of this for a very reasonable price. The reception is on the first floor, and the main entrance is by stairs. There is an elevator from the ground floor, but it is not marked anyhow. The receptionist would tell you that there is one, but after you lift your heavy suitcase by stairs...
Everything wonderful. Strongly recommended. Charming & helpful staff. easy to find. Secure parking. 1 minute on foot to old town. As every hotel this year so far, mattresses very hard - husband has bad back, so always a problem.
Fantastic location. Best view in town.
