Pros: Laz and Des the proprieters were very friendly. we had a super room and the breakfast was excellent. The guest house was also very well situated for the ferry. We will certainly use the Norman again whenever we are in Dover.

Pros: The hotel is really nice unfortunately we had to leave early and they wouldn't make us a breakfast at 5 in the morning for us so that was a little disappointing but very nice people and nice big room it was nice because we had 4 of us to a room and the floor offered another bathroom from all of us so we were able to all get out quickly in the morning!

Cons: The owner/host of Hubert House was rather rude and impatient. We had traveled more than 30 hours without much sleep and did not appreciate being scolded for being 15 minutes late for a continental breakfast.

Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and sufficient size. The breakfast buffet was very good and the the short order cook was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel because of the cleanliness and size of the rooms and the staff. The hotel is not located in Dover town center but has good access roads. A good quality 3 star hotel.
Pros: The staff was very helpful when there was a discrepancy between my free breakfast reservation made through priceline and the reservation that was made by priceline through booking.com did not include the free breakfast.

Pros: Great location! Good food! It is within walking distance of the White Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle, the two main attractions in town. My room overlooked the port and it was relaxing to sit by the sea. I went for afternoon tea or cream tea daily.
Cons: Maid did not keep the coffee cups stocked, so even though there was tea or coffee in the room, there was no way to bring it. Room service cards were also not re-stocked. They did keep the room tidy, however!

Pros: Our cruise ship arrived a day earlier than I had planned. A phone call to Theodora at St. Albans-she was kind enough to find lodging for 5 of us in another hotel because she was booked for that night. Theodora was a gracious host and we really enjoyed staying at her hotel.
