St Andrews Town Hotel is located in historic Droitwich Spa, and offers you the best of both town and country. We are only minutes from the town centre and motorway network, yet the elegant Georgian building and tranquil gardens make you feel as if you are in a country house retreat. We offer a superb restaurant the dining room and bar, 31 contemporary styled ensuite bedrooms, and excellent business facilities. We are also the perfect setting for your wedding or special celebration, with a choice of function rooms, civil wedding licence, and our specialist events co-ordinator. With our recent change in ownership, we have started an exciting programme of refurbishment work including updating the function rooms, restaurant and bar, upgrading the bedrooms, and creating a luxurious bridal suite. The St Andrew s Town Hotel was built in the 1820 s as the home of the Town Clerk of Droitwich Spa. The original building has been extended, and the name has changed several times, but many of the trees which originally surrounded the house still grow in the grounds. Situated in a convenient location in Worcestershire, just 7 miles from Worcester and 20 miles from Birmingham, the St Andrews is an excellent base to explore all this beautiful part of the country has to offer. From our recently rejuvenated canals in Droitwich, providing excellent walking paths, the beautiful Cathedral City of Worcester, with a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants, Birmingham, which has great shopping in the Bull Ring, to the Cotswolds, you are sure to find something to occupy you during your stay. Here at St Andrews we are known for our friendly and personal service, and would like to invite you to come and join us and experience it for yourself.
Characterful old building in quiet area just off the main road. Cosy, convivial bar and restaurant . Friendly staff.
Some of the bedrooms are rather small.
Excellent value for money. Good food at a very reasonable price. We stayed here as a stop-over travelling from Lincoln to South Wales. Much, much better than the motels and travelodges that we have used recently.
The walls are a bit thin: you can hear what people are saying in the next room. Thankfully, everyone was very considerate.
Lovely hotel with fabulous staff
nice quiet location, very comfortable accomodation.restaurant food is of a high standard and staff are friendly and proffesional
hotel is a little worn in places but this is no way detrimental to overall stay
The food was very good, the staff were very pleasant.
We stayed in room 1 & the decor was a little bit 'tired'. It could do with being spruced up a bit, the same with the toilets on the ground floor. The mirror in the alcove was surrounded by cobwebs!
such a change from the large purpose built chain hotels. excellent value and good old fashioned service.
We where staying whilist my daughter had an operation the hospital told us that she would have to stay an extra day then decided to let her come home after seven oclock that evening the hotel were wonderfull and did not charge us even though they had reserved us a room.
Warm welcome. Very clean spacious room for standard rate. Good value for money. Excellent breakfast. Staff and service were good, lovely relaxed weekend.
We were on the ground floor. The noise from the room above was loud ! Sounded like herd of elephants, could hear conversations and snoring !! Definately needs thicker carpet and sound proofing.
Staff very friendly and helpful, Breakfast very good
Rooms could do with a bit of soundproofing if you are in a room underneath another
We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and were well looked after during our stay. The hotel was beautifully looked after, with real care taken over the decor, atmosphere and service. The hotel grounds give a real country feel even though the hotel is within walking distance of the town centre. The room was large and well decorated and the breakfast was delicious! We would definitely go back.
