Caledonian Hotel

The Caledonian Hotel offers a delightful stay in Dumfries. Its convenient location near the train station and town center allows easy access to all that Dumfries and its surroundings have to offer. During my stay in a single-bed room, I was pleased to find it equipped with all the amenities one would expect and desire. This personal touch creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that is evident throughout the property. The friendly and helpful staff further enhance the overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend the Caledonian Hotel to fellow travelers.

Buffet style breakfast was really nice and tasty. It makes a change to use a 'rolling' toaster that toasts both sides of the bread perfectly. Plenty of choice of cereals and fruit juices. Staff took the used dishes away promptly and tables were quickly cleared and readied for the next diners.

The hotel was the cheapest we could find nearby and I cannot fault it on value for money. Breakfast, room and staff were all excellent.

Plenty of parking space for the car as well.
