Pros: Super comfy bed and amazing bathrooms! Loved everything about this hotel!
Pros: Rooms were some of the nicest at any hotel we stayed in Ireland, restaurant and bar were top notch and the food was great; breakfast was also great. Parking included and very convenient. Business center with 2 computers and free printing. Very nice lounge area.
Cons: Location was out of the way if you want to do sight seeing, but it was close to the airport so perfect for us (we stayed there the last day of our trip). Bit of a wait for the business center computers, some of the other guests were using for non-business purposes - wish there was a sign that had a time limit or something.
Pros: This hotel is Dublin's gem!
It's perfectly appointed and well situated within a few minutes (very safe) walk to the attractions, city sights, public transportation, restaurants and tour companies.
The entire staff is helpful, knowledgeable and very professional. All their recommendations were spot on.
This hotel has my full endorsement.
Pros: extremely friendly staff
Pros: Was attending game at Croke Park stadium so location was excellent for that event. If I wasn't attending the game, the location wasn't good.
Cons: Rate was inflated too much for the game.
Pros: Staff went out of their way to help and were very friendly and professional. The rooms were luxurious and very well equipped, fantastic value for money. Far enough from the centre of town to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to walk. When we come back to Dublin we will definitely stay here if it's available.
Cons: Nothing at all to dislike.
Pros: Fine hotel. Free printing was a good perk. Hotel bar and bar food was a decent and tasty value.
Cons: The location is suboptimal. It was not a safe walk from the downtown to the hotel at night or in the early morning. It is needed to take a cab from the hotel to the city center during those hours.
Situated near the airport, this eco-friendly hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Croke Park, Garden of Remembrance, and James Joyce Cultural Centre. Parnell Square and Dublin Writers Museum are also within 15 minutes.
Pros: Great location, very pleasant staff, spacious room (especially by European standards). Very nice hotel.
Cons: Nitpick: bathroom could have used a little updating.
Pros: concierge recommendations
Cons: Very small room with minimal closet space and walking space and a step down to get to the bathroom
Had larger room for less money on my 5 previous stays here
Pros: The location couldn't be more central. It's luxury accommodation with top class food and service and all the extras you could imagine
Cons: Not enough power points/sockets in the room for a modern tech age. The AC unit had mold on it
Pros: Staff were very attentive in all areas reception, restaurant, etc
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful
Staff (especially Tommy on front desk) were very helpful
Cons: Handicap room, which was not suited for others with low and very small sink. Shower type assured water to go over the floor.

Pros: 1st they are SO ACCOMODATING. Thanks to guest services, concierge DENNIS :-0 and the crew plus the front door attendants, managers, housekeeping are all amazing. Guest Service Rep came to greet us and had the goats milk avail for my daughter. In the USA we can only purchase at select store and did not realize it was more common to have in Dublin. We have made Dublin-the Shelbourne as our #1 headquarters. The quality of our stay, the fact they have vetted services for a nanny, great food, amazing polite service from all departments simply speaks volumes. Mr. Hanley and his staff at this fine establishment continue to amaze me. I really appreciate the peace of mind they bring to me and my little 1 and 2 year old children each visit. We surely feel special and love the amazing spacious rooms. THANK YOU ALL!! See you again next year.
Cons: I have only positive things to communicate. They can keep up the great work. Great food options, great concierge, guest services, housekeeping, food services.....blessings to you all!
Pros: Location is perfect but a bit overpriced for what you get. Room was a nice size and staff was very friendly. I think it is better without kids.
Cons: Overpriced a bit for what you get. Had to call to have room made up after being out from 9:30-3:0 during the day... I guess someone just forgot.
Pros: The staff was incredibly accommodating and pleasant.
Pros: The hotel is grand and no detail is overlooked. The breakfast was superb but still talking of the impeccable service. A perfect 10 all around.
Cons: When I arrived at 10AM, there was no room ready (understandable), but when I returned in the afternoon, I was shown to a room with a worker working on scaffolding directly outside my window. The second room was fine, but I was disappointed that the clerk had initially no problem assuming he could leave us in a room where we could all wave to a worker!
Pros: It was a gorgeous hotel - the breakfast was a bit pricey but it was lovely
Pros: Breakfast was insanely good, the best part of our stay.

Pros: The breakfast buffet was great with lots of options. The room was large and comfortable.
Cons: The hotel is within walking distance to all of the sights, but is about a 10 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk). We love to walk so the location was fine for us, but it felt far after a night in Temple Bar.
Pros: By the train station
Cons: There was no plugs for hair tools and phone charging
Cons: There was confusion too how many people we had in our party and had to pay an extra 30 euros and it took an extra long time to clear up the confusion after a long day of travel.
Pros: Staff was helpful and excellent. Rooms were very clean. Accommodations were up to date.
Cons: Triple room was somewhat cramped.
Pros: We loved the room, the views, the quiet, the location.
Close to the train station. The bed was so comfy!
Also right near the landmark pub Nancy's Hand.
The room design is outstanding!
The bathroom was huge!
We loved it here.
Cons: There had a been some flooding from outside and it went into the hotel lobby on the day we arrived and it smelled horrible it was most likely sewer water. he smell only affected the area by the front door and the smell was gone by the time we left two days later.
The hotel had professionals cleaners working on it as fast as possible.
We would stay here again. The flooding was not there fault.
Pros: Location,breakfast,bedroom was nice size
Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable room with a very nice view onto the front garden. Breakfast extravaganza. Very convenient to all Dublin attractions. We loved it. Highly recommend.
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: The water pressure was really low, everything took several flushes.
The surrounding area is great location wise, but at night it seems a bit rough. The hotel is very safe.
Cons: Lighting was bad for putting on makeup
Pros: Hotel is an excellent choice when visiting Dublin. It has excellent service, very clean, and good restaurant. Although it is not close to where most of the nightlife is there is an excellent local pub 2 blocks away and it is located on the local Luas light rail line which provides quick access to most of Dublin's tourist attractions.
Cons: Slightly removed from what they call City Center
Pros: It's location was a prime factor in our decision. Phoenix Park was very close by, as was Guinness and The Old Jamison Distillery. Right near the train station and tram stop so access the further parts of thecity and country were 5 minutes away. We'd stay there again.
Pros: The beautiful floors, lovely rooms with tea, hair dryer and iron and ironing board...all welcome when travelling. Our flight left early morning and because we would miss breakfast, they packed us a boxed lunch.
We did walk from O'Connell street and it is 20 to 30 minutes....but even with all our luggage it was fun.. A plus is that it is close to Heuston Sation and all excellent bus services. An unexpected treat for us was seeing The Dublin Zoo ( amazing) and The Pheonix Gardens....about 5 minutes away.
Ashling Hotel Dublin is on the stately north bank of the River Liffey, a 5-minute walk from Heuston Station, and a 5-minute tram ride from the city center. Guests can easily walk to many of Dublin's top attractions, from the Guinness Storehouse to the 11th-century Christchurch Cathedral.
Pros: Great location. Not right in the middle of everything so it was a quieter area yet easily accessible to most sights. The gym was very good, much better than the average hotel gym. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice as well.
Cons: The hallway on our floor was a bit stark and the small table in our room showed a good bit of wear.
Pros: The service was fantastic
Pros: The service at the front desk, restaurant, bar was over the top. It makes a stay that much better when you feel appreciated.
Cons: There was nothing not to like!
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was huge, bed comfortable, and the shower never ran out of hot water and had "full" power
Cons: Parking garage is a little far and hard to get to if you have a car. There is no pull up driveway to load your bags and this made it a little bit difficult not knowing this prior to arrival
Pros: Food at EAST restaurant .
Cons: Carpet needs to be vacuumed and or replaced in rooms. Well trodden. Some staff at front desk helpful and some not helpful at all and made you feel like you were a bother. Would recommend this hotel. Breakfast in morning overpriced and overrated. Go in the square adjent to get good food and coffee.

Pros: Can't beat the excellent location on St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street. Staff is very professional and efficient. Rooms are nicely appointed, if a little small for two adults. Breakfast was excellent with great and friendly service. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to my friends.
Cons: Rooms are small and awkward space for two adults.
Pros: Location was great, just off the main street (Grafton). Shower pressure was amazing. Staff very attentive.
Cons: Rooms are smallish when compared to the Fitzwilliam in Belfast. This might be the average room size for this type of room in Dublin.
Pros: Great location. Comfortable. Great staff.
Pros: The location was great and the staff was very nice.
Cons: For $385 per night the room was small, the bathrooms were quirky and bfast should be included...

Tiled bathrooms have bathrobes, power showers, and handheld attachments. All bedrooms have air conditioning.
Pros: This resort is situated on a spectacular property with unparalleled views. Our room was nicely appointees, very clean and quiet even though there were a couple of major events.
Upon arrival the person at reception was snobby and did not even offer to have our bags brought up to the room and honestly acted as if he was doing us a favor by checking us in. We had traveled from Killarney and were dressed very casually and it was apparent that we were very under-dressed--not a place to stay if you want to be casual and laid back. The staff, especially, Emma, at the restaurant where we sat for a drink, was courteous and very friendly.
We ordered room service and to be frank the food was awful--cold and just not good.
Beautiful spot but with room for improvement.
Pros: The location right on the beach and the quietness were the two main things we really appreciated the most.

Pros: location: convenient train into dublin Maynooth village is charming Liked history of the hotel
Cons: informal meals only available in lobby.....not the most comfortable situation for a meal. Ok for tea, but not meals

Pros: Wonderful staff, great location and super clean. Bus stop seconds away gets you easily and inexpensively to / from airport.
Pros: This hotel is right in the middle of the Temple Bar district known for its great nightlife. But it's also close to many other 'must sees' in Dublin, like Trinity College and Killmainham Jail. The bus system makes traveling about Dublin very easy and this hotel was easy to find. Very modern and clean, it boasts a very friendly and helpful staff!
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.
Pros: The service from the staff was outstanding.
Pros: Great value for a three star hotel, staff is very attending and make the stay pleasant!
Cons: A bit noisy as hotel is under renovation, but unless you spend the day at hotel they make sure to minimize disturbance to guests (didn't make noise before 10am during my stay).
Pros: The Staff were fantastic
Cons: The worst beds . The hotel needs to invest in new mattresses. The staff were kind enough to change our room but the beds weren't any better.

This four star hotel in Sandyford South Dublin is a luxury hotel and showcases the best in new Irish interior design! The open plan, light filled foyer has the appeal of an art gallery with elegant glass chandeliers, maximum use of natural light, specially commissioned art pieces and a creatively adapted four poster design bed as part of the unique seating arrangement in the lobby.
Pros: The staff was friendly and had nice scones and tea in the lobby.
Cons: The wake up call was a little late, so set a back up alarm just in case.
Pros: I was a little hesitant on getting a hotel in Temple Bar - it's a noisy pub crawl neighborhood, but that all went away when I stepped inside. It's on the far end of Temple Bar, near O'Connel Street, but that means it's central to everything. I was able to drop off my luggage early so I could explore Dublin for the day. I also got upgraded from a single room to a double with no extra charge. Room was quiet - during the day you could occasionally here slot machines outside the window, but I can't complain. Never heard the bar crowd. Great facilities, never got to check out the pool or breakfast but I'm sure they're both wonderful. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dublin, for either business or leisure.
Cons: Street noise and sarcastic security staff.
Located in Temple Bar, this hotel is steps from Bank of Ireland, Trinity College, and The Book of Kells. Ha' Penny Bridge and O'Connell Bridge are also within 5 minutes.
Pros: compared to another Dublin airport I stayed at, it was better.
Cons: compared to most other city's airport hotels, Dublin's are poor quality and OVER priced. Lucky for Ireland that there are lots of Irish American's enamored with travelling to Ireland, but IMHO it's over priced for the so-so accommodations and service that you get in the country.
Pros: Very convienet to the airport (less than 5 minutes) and nice, newer rooms. The built-in USB ports for charging devices was an especially nice touch.
Cons: We booked two spots on arrival for the shuttle back to the airport for our return the next day, but when we came down the following morning at our scheduled time, they had not held the spots and the shuttle was already full. We did manage to pick ourselves in and make it, but not without having to go with the driver back into the hotel to the concierge desk, and even then 1 of had to sit in the isle on the floor of the van sardined around luggage.
It's virtually impossible to use the shower without spilling a fair bit of water into the rest of the bathroom. Seemed more a "form over function" design choice, or perhaps an unintended consequence of the good water pressure (which I was a fan of).
Pros: The hotel had excellent wifi, the restaurant downstairs was great and affordable, the airport shuttle was very convenient, the staff took great care of me by letting me check in a bit early, the room was spacious and the bathroom was wonderful. I'd had a chaotic 36 hours traveling internationally and needed a night to unwinde before my next flight. This did the trick.
Cons: Bit noisy in the day if you're trying to sleep, no a/c so it got pretty stuffy, bed was very firm, over priced but you pay for convenience I suppose.
Pros: Great location near the airport, with shuttle available 24 hours.
Pros: Very isolated unless you come with a car. Unable to easily get simple things like snacks. The hotel is the only close source of food, consequently the prices are high.
The hotel was clean and the staff were fairly helpful.
Pros: Booked this hotel at the last minute and got a great deal. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. The hotel is next to the airport and offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. I would highly recommend for business or personal travel for someone looking to stay near the airport.
Pros: This hotel is very close to the airport with a free shuttle to take you to and from. Everyone is kind which is also a plus.
Cons: We came across a dry urine stain on our bed in I ur first room. Seemed to be on an additional disposable comfort sheet which could have easily been tossed whenever someone came across the issue. But the hotel quickly moved us to a new room after a quick phone call.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. I saw smiles on all of their faces. This is very important to me.
It was very clean.
Pros: Close @ the Airport!

Pros: Hotel is very nice with the the amentities of a golf course hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very nice and well maintained. We had a room with two beds that were more than adequate for our needs. I think this is a good value hotel and it is convenient to the airport without being too close.
Cons: The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the entrance to the hotel. There is no good way to turn your car around to head back to the parking lot. After you get back in your car you are pointing to the back of the hotel and it is very poorly designed as there is no good way to head towards to parking lot.

Guests can visit the spa to indulge in deep-tissue massages, body wraps, or body scrubs, and McLoughlins serves international cuisine. Cons: Finding parking was difficult.
Shower was either cold or scalding hot.
Pros: The free 24/7 shuttle to and from the airport was very convinent
Cons: The rooms were old and outdated, shower wasn't good, and bar staff were slow and ignorant
Pros: Food is excellent!
Pros: Got early check-in. The shuttle goes quite frequently. And they have hypoallergenic pillows!
Cons: Dry air in the room.
Pros: We picked the hotel close to the airport with a shuttle service. The shuttle service is extremely convenient. We were only staying for one night before flying out.
Cons: The room smelled a bit. Everything appeared very clean however there was a lingering smell.
Pros: Shuttle service was excellent.
Cons: No breakfast included. No other restaurants in the area to dine at.
Cons: Paying for parking without previously knowing there was a charge.
Bathroom was not as clean as I feel it shold have been.
Pros: 24 hour shuttle is great. The hotel bar and restaurant are fine, and the crowd is something out of Star Wars - incredibly mixed bag makes great people watching.
Pros: Great atmosphere and very modern
Cons: Instant coffee in the room
Cons: We paid extra for the deluxe breakfast buffet, which turned out to be a depressing school cafeteria, complete with plastic trays still damp from the dishwasher. Not what we expected from the reviews.
Cons: Shuttle driver could have been more specific with terminal information at Dublin airport. We walked much more than necessary and two of our party had difficulty with that.
Pros: Close to the airport. Hotel shuttle links you to airport shuttle to get downtown and back. Room size was good.
Cons: Pizza was undercooked (but the cheese on the pizza was fantastic).
Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport places guests a 7-minute drive or shuttle ride from the terminals. It's a 20 minute cab journey to visit the delights of Dublin's city center or famous coastal villages of Howth and Malahide.
Pros: Very clean. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast (reserve a day early and save 3 euros). Helpful staff.
Cons: DIY baggage, clinging shower curtain, no hand towel ring / bar. Door hook broken.
Pros: We had a pleasant stay at Maldron Hotel Parnell Square West.
Staff is friendly
Checkout and Check in was prompt and easy
Location is great, just five to ten minutes walk to Oconell Street
Area is safe
Rooms are good sized and clean
Cleaning staff is friendly
Wifi is good

Pros: - Staff were friendly

- Room and washroom was clean
- Great hotel for budget travelers
Cons: - Be aware bus comes every 1hr on Sunday
Pros: The reception service was nice.
Cons: The room was dirty, the bed had several stains. We asked for a change of room, or, at least, a change of duvet; neither of these changes happened. The room furniture was old. The walls were paper walls, you could hear EVERYTHING which was happening around you.
