Pros: The hospitality was top notch. Greg and Heidi were excellent hosts.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and laundry facilities. Event facilities at this bed & breakfast consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Pros: Breakfast was lovely, cooked options delicious and fresh fruit/scones/juices/cereals etc nicely laid out. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge area is lovely, modern, super comfortable sofas and has a toasty lit fire on chilly nights. Riaan was incredibly helpful and accommodating to our needs.
Pros: This seems to be predominantly a business/conference hotel. Lacks any character. It isn't a bad hotel it just isn't particularly good. If you are a tourist you might do better looking elsewhere. Restaurant - the food was fine but a bit expensive for what was on offer.
Cons: Some staff could do with additional training.
Pros: Lovely room & grounds
Cons: Sleep disturbed by chatter & car noises Returned from an excursion to find our door fully open
Pros: It’s centrality to the places I had to visit, Dannhauser and Glencoe. The property is clean and your room is secluded that you don’t get any interruptions from other guests.
Cons: Hot disappears in the middle of your shower but I understand this is a water saving strategy to get guest to use water sparingly and as one who’s a member of the Green Building Council really support this initiative even though half my back almost from from the cold water
Cons: Shower was hot and cold Had to ask for my special requests when it was pre booked
Cons: I just Love this place !!! Very clean and comfortable. Personnel very considerate at all times.
Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable with a very comfortable bed. Both the room and ensuite were very clean The receptionist at check in was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The barman/waiter was below par - not very helpful. We had only just walked into the restuarant and sat down when our starters were placed on the table - no opportunity to order a drink - my evening meal which we had been asked to pre-order had been cooked and left to sit - chips soggy as were the chops which were also over cooked. The area around the pool needs some maintenance. The bar closed before 21:00
Pros: The staff was very nice..the room had almost everything I needed

Pros: Very pleasant stay.
Pros: The very friendly owner and staff. The quiet surroundings of the location. The price and value for money. The relaxing gardens.

Located in Dundee, Battlefields Country Lodge is a 5-minute drive from Talana Museum and Heritage Park and 7 minutes from Dundee Mosque. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It was handy for touring the Battlefields
Cons: You have to ask for a voucher for WiFi each day you are there. It still did not reach our room and when we did get a signal in the restaurant it only lasted 15 minutes. We went out one morning 10am and the cleaner asked us to leave the room open. The door was still open when we returned at 17.00. I then found a cleaners bunch of keys that would have given me access to any rooms. On the Saturday night we were woken at 12.10 in the morning by groups turning the car radios on full blast followed by screams and shouting. The cars were parked at the back of our rooms. Residents complained and the noise was switched off at 01.00am. I believe one complainant was offered a bottle of wine to share around their table. The other guests were UK coach parties who had to be out at the crack of dawn. The partying was local South Africans.
Pros: The price is reasonable, rooms were clean and the food is good
Cons: I hv ro search rooms by myself and I was not happy
Cons: I booked for my staff member who has a very hectic work schedule. Although breakfast is included in the price, the lodge refused breakfast for our employee, which is just totally unacceptable, as he had to start his day in the field on an empty stomach. Not on.
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Many of the advertised facilities were not available. The evening buffet was poor. Breakfast was ok. The room was shabby and the lighting dreadful. It was not possible to access the windows as a bunk bed blocked them as well as the only light for the room. The staff were friendly and helpful but the whole place had the look and feel of an outdated holiday camp.
Pros: Stunning venue
Cons: We had a few issues but I feel the place deserves more than a bad review. When we checked out we discussed the state of our room and the staff got on it immediately.
Pros: Wide choice for breakfast everything worked in the rooms
