Fletcher Lodge is a stunning example of Dunedin's unique architecture. Built by one of New Zealand's leading industrialists, Sir James Fletcher, in 1923, to serve as his private residence. Set in secluded gardens, it features impressive detailing such as a leadlight windows and ornate plaster ceilings in almost every room, an oak panelled entrance hall and carved staircase leads to three of the five bedrooms. All guest rooms are richly furnished with period furniture and the tiled bathrooms contain luxurious touches like underfloor heating.
