I have bad legs and so the long staircase was a bit of challenge.
Quite a dated hotel but with lots of character and very comfortable. Large, comfortable bed and lovely fluffy bath sheets! The staff are very friendly and accommodating of every need. The food was very good. Great location on the bus routes and next to Murrayfield stadium.
great location for the rugby, good breakfast, price was alright considering there was a Scottish rugby match on.
the lack of parking, even though there were spaces, (PLEASE NOTE the fact that we booked the accommodation and the money was taken straight out of the my account even thought it was free cancellation up until 4th September I know this WAS NOT the hotels fault but the booking company this seems to be another aspect that needs looking into.}
Good place to stay and eat. Very friendly staff
We had a good sized, comfortable room, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent.
Although there are frequent and regular bus services into the city, I would have preferred staying in the city centre without the thought of getting a taxi back late at night.
