Cons: They didn’t send the hotel any notification of my prepaid reservation until I contacted them at check in when the hotel advised me that my reservation wasn’t in their system and since the hotel had since been sold out I had to find another hotel to accommodate my stay at 1:30 am. I will not be booking anything else with Kayak after this experience.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: When I first pulled up and they didn't have a let I was a little worried about my choice of hotel, but once inside I realized this was an amazing hotel. The room was incredible, the shower was to die for, the facilities were relaxing and classy. There wasn't one detail that went unnoticed by the staff/hotel. It's the only hotel I want to stay in when I'm in Miami from now on!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was mostly helpful and always had a smile on their face. The lobby is among the most beautiful spaces I have ever seen in a hotel The rooms are clean and spacious Love the pool and jaqcuzzi. The man made beach was a nice touch
Cons: You definitely pay for what you get. Expect to lay out a pretty penny Pool side service was a little spotty. At one point my wife and I had to wait 15 min for a towel and chairs despite the area being fairly empty (this was after speaking with two staff members) on another occasion we waited 20 min for someone to ask for our orders. There was a stain on the seating area in the room. Do not know what it was, however definitely expect more from a hotel of this caliber. Our view from the room was absolutely gorgeous, but the balcony was too small to fit chairs on. Note this appears to be only on a small section of rooms so be weary about this.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great Staff, great view, very clean, i mean they clean the rooms twice a day, the staff is the best part of this hotel. Will stay there 100000 more times.
Cons: The food and parking are not cheap, $40 per day just to park and the breakfast will cost u some $$. Needs a fridge in the room, it's miami.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Door staff and reception were very competent.

6.5 Good
Cons: Neither Kayak, Expedia, or Marriott disclosed that there would be an extra $50 due at check in. The clerk wouldn't even check me in without it. Why didn't you tell me about this? I wouldn't have booked had I known.

Pros: I actually wanted to stay on the beach but when I went to the hotel I had to pay addt'l for parking n amenities. After driving around for hrs I decided to look again n Marriot Popped up with a great price. The overnight guy knew I was sad m tired n he told me I'll b ok and I'll be happy in room. I was beyond happy. Anything I need he made sure I was good. The room was beautiful big n smelled amazing better than the hotel on beach.

Trump National Doral Miami - Doral - Building
10
8.9 Excellent (3,129 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Purchased by the Trump Organization in June 2012, the Doral Golf Resort & Spa has been undergoing a dramatic restoration to recapture the resort's early grandeur.
5.3 Okay
Pros: The staff was well-trained, resposive, and vocally sorry about the situation that all the guests were facing, and even apologized for the weather. The staff went out of their way to try to make up for everything that was wrong.
Cons: Simply put: the resort should not be open until they have finished the renovations. It's like staying in a Motel 6 at a 24hr construction site, but with superb staff and quite good food. There is limited accessibility by foot to any part of the resort. Walking anywhere requires traversing expansive muddy gravel areas, balancing on tippy plywood ramps where no curbs exist, stepping over hoses, electrical cords, and around huge generators, and going as quuickly as possible by what can only be an open sewer pipe near the new pool construction. There is one, possily two, restaurants open that have the same menu as room service. A salad, entree, and glass of wine came to $70. Other non-resort restaurants are accessiblie only by cab (I might have been able to walk if not for the puring rain). If you choose not to gamnble on walking, you must call ahead for a golf-cart transport, which will arrive in 10-15 mins and take you to your destination. A tip is expected by the driver. During my stay, it rained constantly so I never was able to see a vista, the golf course, or anything resembling the images on the resort's website. The pathways that were usable were puddled with water and one had a recurring area of sudsy liquid on it...? Again, they should not be open, but if they choose to be, they should NOT be charging full price for guest rooms. I was staying in a supposedly-renovated bungalow, but the elevator clearly was in recent use by constructoin workers, there were several muddy boot prints in my bathtub upon arrival., the sliding door to the patio did not fully lock, and the sliding closet doors were not functional because of the position of the room safe in the closet. 'Nuff said.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was wonderful.
Cons: Too short of a visit!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: No request went without a quick and thorough response. It isn't cheap, but the service and facilities can't be beat anywhere else in Florida.
Cons: A bit too pricey for our regular travels, but great for a once in a while treat.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean, well maintained. Decent breakfast. Fairly close to Doral circle area which has some good food.
Cons: About .8 miles from food, which I walked, but did not have sidewalks all the way. Hotel sits a bit back on a dead-end road.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean nice airport hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its confort in all aspects

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was excellent! It was nicely decorated and very clean. The hotel seemed brand new and the staff was fantastic. The free breakfast was extra special with numerous choices for everyone. The food was fresh and inviting. I was extremely impressed.
Cons: The airplane noise could have been less.
6.0 Good
Cons: The worst thing is they didn't give me and my wife a king or queen bed room. Just tell me 'we don't have it'.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal and the breakfast was good. They had a piano player which was different from the norm. Hotel was decked out in Halloween decorations. Bathroom shower was modern and not a plain old tub.
Cons: The check in process was weird and took a prolonged period of time. I didn't feel genuinely welcomed. I had called earlier to confirm a room with two beds and that was also an awkward conversation. Parking was difficult due to restaurant/club next door.
6.0 Good
Pros: Close to the airport and quiet.
Cons: While very friendly, the check in staff isn't very organized or experienced. For a new hotel, the corners in the shower were mildewed and the small shelf in the shower was coming off the wall. The shuttle runs on the hour, so a cab is more convenient.

Cons: They could not get the AC working properly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is very fancy, clean, quiet(even though we booked while restorations were being done). It's a like a secluded get away. I loved staying here. The staff and security were very friendly and always spoke when you pass by.
Cons: You have to pay to park even though you're a guest at the hotel and if you plan on going in and out it cost you more then the overnight $24 fee so if you plan on going out in your car I suggest planning it into your trip.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, excellent location, overall I could say I made a great choice
Cons: HIDDEN FEES AT CHECK OUT... The hotel was at a great price.. But during checkout they add all these fees nobody told you and you have to pay them... I paid like 35 dollars in fees for ONE night... If you are spending more nights, just multiply the fees. One fee is valet parking (they don't give you a parking space) so you have to leave your car in valet. The other fee is "amenities use" COME ON!! This fee was the one that I feel was not right... First of all, I DID NOT use ANY of the amenities, it was a one night stay. The should include this in the price... So the thing is that for 35 bucks a night additional to what they advertised, I could have gotten a MUCH better hotel. Hope this review helps...
6.2 Good
Pros: Apartment was spacious, housekeeping did decent job of cleaning even though we had to call once or twice for extra towels. Location was great, downtown/ Brickell area with a lot of restaurants and bars close by. Nice kitchen. Nice balcony. The staff was responsive when we needed them.
Cons: The beds were terrible, I slept in the bed a couple nights then slept on the couch the rest of the stay. Beds had no cushion just felt like sleeping on springs half the time. The couch was more comfortable. No way i could have slept the whole week on the bed without having back issues. Had to pay for parking $25/day and they tried to charge for a week even though we returned the rental car the day after we got there. They did take it off the bill though.
7.7 Good
Pros: The location was great, the staff was nice, the room was wonderful everything we needed was there. The restaurant/bar was great. Best drinks we had in miami..
Cons: Upon arrival we noticed the blinds in front of the balcony was broken we called and the young lady politely apologized and said she would send someone right up.. we left the building and notified guest services that it was ok for them to go inside the room to fix the blinds. We returned thinking we can watch the sunset but the blinds waa still broken. Called back to front desk and same as b4 a great apologies but no one came we ate took a a shower and still noone. Called again and they said the ppl to fix it had gone for today. Never fixed it

Cons: Lobby sparce, chaotic and unwelcoming. Valet was told it would be 20 min., but it was not that long. Event was happening , so lots of arrivals and tight spot to get a lot of cars coming and going.

Pros: Clean hotel, hot breakfast and quick checkin
Cons: Went to the bar at 10:30 and was told last call had already gone out, bars not supposed to close till 11 and myself and some friends just wanted a night cap. Don't post open till times unless your going to be open till then.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people were very friendly and the breakfasts were great.
Cons: We booked for 2 adults and 2 children but the room was set up with towels for 3. We asked for extra towels a few days.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: I called 40 minutes after their 24 hour deadline to cancel and they wouldn't refund. They were not heavily booked and it was off season and it was only for one night. A simple courtesey could have gone a long way, but now I doubt I'll ever stay at a best western.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the breakfast everything
Cons: there is no door on the bathroom shower so the floor gets wet very easy but other than that is fine
7.1 Good
Pros: The place was new and very clean. The room was spacious as well. We felt safe here and it was a good deal for our money considering its spring break and all the hotel prices are raised.
Cons: Too far from everything. Front desk is rude and incompetent. The maids didn't come to clean our room one day either. Breakfast is limited. Also our bathroom shower did not have a door although it was a nice marble standing shower.

Pros: Came for a weekend trip, just stayed one night. Nice building, pretty decorations. Staff was nice, great complimentary hot breakfast. They share a pool with the place next door, and we took a nice night time swim. Rooms were clean and tidy, nice to have a mini fridge and other kitchen things. Location was okay -- not great but not too far from everything. Overall was an excellent visit.
Cons: We asked to check in early, and they said we only could if we joined their program -- not a big deal, but clearly rooms were clean and ready but they didn't want to let us in a few hours early unless we joined up.

Cons: Concierge was nice but he did not explain that there was an additional charge for parking. He gave me a ticket that I thought I would show at my departure next day but at the parking place they would not let me go without paying. That was a surprise for me. Also, at the front desk they did not ask me if I was a member of the Marriott hotels, I am, so I could have given them my name and number to add points or miles.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything including location from the Port of Miami, nice lobby, great restaraunt, and view from balcony!
Cons: Pool was horrendous. When you go to FL the one thing you look forward to it the pool/jacuzzis. To put it in perspective, the pool water was warmer than the hot tub. Outside of the pool area needing some work, everything was great.

Pros: I thoroughly enjoyed our room on the 21st floor. The view was amazing and the room was very plush and comfortable. Enjoyed the daily Happy Hour specials and the buffet styled breakfast thats readily available downstairs at the restaurant called the "Catch". The service the Marriott provided was Awesome! I would stay here again.... $10.00 or less ride to South Beach using Uber or Lyft. If you don't want to pay the daily parking charge, there is street parking that affordable adjacent to the hotel.
Cons: There is no microwaves or refrigerators available in the rooms. However, you can requested these items if they are available.

Pros: I was very suprised with our stay. I went into this as a vacation made very last minute and saw good reviews but figured it would just be an OK hotel. However it was a really nice place. The staff was very attentive. They book a massage for me. They set up a crib and twin bed for my 2 year old son so he could choose which he wanted. They had smart TVs which allowed us to play netflix and youtube at night. my wife and I especially liked that the hotel had many resteraunts, starbucks, pharmacy and many botique stores attached to the hotel. The pool was nice, but the only drawback is that it is situated in a way that we only got sun in certain parts of the day as the building blocked out the sun before noon. so 12-5pm the sun hit the pool. It was very close to south beath (lincoln rd). We had a car but with all the shuttle services you really could not even bother. They had busses going to many of the attractions you want, and if it wasn't uber would fill in the few gaps. I would 100% go back and do plan on making this a semi-regular vacation favorite. It also helped that there were other familes with kids for my son to play with. He had 5-10 kids to play with in the pool on any given day. ENjoy! and thanks for the memories

Pros: Hotel staff was friendly. Hotel room was clean and roomy and new furniture. The pool looked really nice. We had lake view even though the hotel is close to the airport it was nice and quiet. We enjoyed a great breakfast in the morning - prices were very decent. We paid 117$ for the night and I want to use this hotel again. We went out at night in South Beach and the drive was 20 min.

Pros: Marlene was absolutely wonderful. She picked me up in the shuttle. Friendly smiling face and great conversation. The girls and guys at the desk helped me find everwhere i needed to go and with arranging the transportation. The shuttle bus was super convenient and arrived always within a few minutes of my request. Rooms were as shown clean nice view and spacious. Always quiet. I would definitely return.
Cons: I liked everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I´ve stay in many hotels around the area (Double Tree, Quinta in, Hilton, Intercontinental, etc) and this by far is the best value for the money: cosy room, nice lobby, pool, good view, good staff, free parking, free wifi, calm, quite and friendly atmosphere and surroundings. The staff is kind and helpful, the room has microwave, coffee and 2 tv´s, one for the bed and other in the "living room". Everything was clean, lots of electricity plugs. The bar and the restaurant is OK, if you are tired and don't want to drive more just eat at the hotel and it will be a good quality/price. William at the bar was kind and helpful as well at the lady at the front desk, don´t remember her name. Overall, great value for the money with friendly staff.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: We were given a handicap accessible room. Didn't realize my husband would have to be on his knees for the shower. Would of been nice for them to tell us about it before just giving us this type of room without asking us first.
