Staff were very attentive. Remembered who we were and what room we where in, and being irish what we liked to drink. Rooms and bathrooms could do with updating, but were comfortable.
Old but nice. Very well located To old
close to the slopes, very delicious buffet, friendly staff, a few noisy nothing
fantastic ,friendly staff. Esp in the bar and resteurant.Very close to ski slopes. bedrooms very dated and in dire need of moderising. only one electric plug in the room. not adequate in this day and age.
Good food and good value for money. It was near to the ski slopes also. It was warm and clean with friendly staff. It was a bit dated and could do with a bit of work to modernise it.
All the staff were very friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They were proffessional at all times to levels above and beyond a 3 star hotel Our only criticism would be the location of the ski locker room, but after a day we got ourselves sorted out
The hotel staff were very curtious and couldnt do enough for us. The food was excellent - we shall certainly go back the the Hotel Sporting
If you go on skiing, the car lift is by the hotel, this makes things very easy and comfortable. The breakfast and the dinner were buffet with good food and different every day. I can´t say any bad point, we really enjoy our stay.
Great location for ski in/out. food buffet style and good, hotel drinks very reasonable for a 4* on the slopes. Enjoyed the stay staff all very freindly. Would return again.
Being able to ski straight from the hotel to the chair lift and return skiing direct to the hotel´s ski locker was excellent I found it very horrible that there was smoking allowed throughout the hotel, except the dining room. Although I had booked a non-smoking room the smoke from the lounge area and hotel in general pervaded by bedroom and everything smelt of smoke.
location and dinner too modest and small rooms, lazy and ignorant personal, no kids facilities, smoking gaming zone
Opening time of restaurant in the evening at 8pm is far too late for young children.
The location and ease for skiiing is unbeatable I have stayed in this hotel on 5 or 6 previous occasions. The quality of the food and the efficiency and politeness of the staff has gone seriously downhill.
Quality of kitchen Absence of glass glasses in number and dryers for mountain-skiing boots.
A friendly welcoming enviroment
free internet wifi in room
A charming hotel right next to ski slopes (although we were there in summer :))) and mountain river. Big comfortable rooms in a country-style, excellent restaurant, free pool and jacuzzi, free parking, live music in the evening. A very positive impression!!
Superb standard of rooms, friendly service and good food
A fantastic little hotel and very good value for money
We were very well accomodated, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast very satisfactory. Parking could have been a problem as the Hotel is on a very busy street and in the middle of a shopping complex.
nice clean well maintained hotel Parking
The staff was very friendly and really healpfull in our our doubts and needs. The breakfeast was really good. Excellent value for money.
A 4-star experience. This small and cosy hotel is a real gem. The bedroom was fantastic: very comfortable bed, everything was very clean: there was no real evidence of previous guests. Decor was modern with quality touches everywhere. I got a great night's sleep on all 4 nights I stayed, with no disturbance from the outside or other guests. I have been in many moderately priced 3 & 4-star hotels in ski resorts all over Europe and this one is head and shoulders above them all. Nothing.
the hotel design, the service, the staff. this hotel is really amazing :-) car parking
So far, . Best hotel ever. Excellent in all senses
Everything about this hotel was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly , it felt as though they couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasant one. Its possibly one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in for service. the views from the hotel rooms and the spa are amazing.
it was very quiet and it felt like we had our own hotel for a week the spa was only free to use if u were there before 15.00. no children allowed in the pool and spa !!!!! we took 5 children.
This is an excellent genuine 5 star hotel with great style and facilities. The spa is superb and is on three floors! Parking could be an issue in the winter I suspect
Excellent hôtel. Big bedroom, big Spa, xith man activities. Staff very Nice and helpful. Highly recommended. We really enjoyed. Staff doesnt speak french.
The hotel was ok value for money, however the main problem was the food. It was often cold and on more than one occassion we had to send the food back as it wasnt cooked. Also there are alot of young people at the hotel which meant there was alot of noise until quite late at night. The food would have been delicious if it had been hot.
Very good location, 50 meters from the slopes. The staff is very nice and helpfull. The food is excellent, at diner or at breakfast, lots of very tasty and well cooked food. The diner room is big and quiet, and the lobby bar is also big and pleasant. It is not a luxury hotel, but for a snowboard week its an excelent place to stay. Only same details could be better. The room is a bit small and updated, too much hot and with a bad insonorization, so you hear all the noise from the street. The lockers are a bit small, barely enought for two snowboards.
The restrant staff were really nice, they made myself and my family feel at home. In total everyone was really nice and always willing to help.
the staff were friendly, nice seating area in lounge bar. The selection on the buffet breakfast and evening meals was good, but needed to be hotter. The rooms could do with updating , and the lack of a safe in the room was a disappointment. Also no hair dryer supplied. The food was not kept warm enough.
30 meters to slopes, perfect dinner, professional and kind staff small rooms, uncomfortable bathroom
situated in middle of town and it did a great breakfast.
location closeby the pists, friendly hotel staff, large buffets for breakfast/lunch/dinner parking not on the premises but in nearby parking house
I am very surprise, my girlfriend and I were treated as kings. everything perfect. I wish through this review, thank all the staff of the hotel. Thank you very much.
Location and very helpful and friendly staff
It was close to the ski slopes and the breakfast was good. Not very welcoming, no atmosphere, poor sauna and jacuzzi
i liked the smooth operation and cleanliness with courteous staff and good food all day room too hot and couldnt adjust it not seen guest reviews so lower queastion not applicable
The location, closed to the slopes, is excellent. The price is important for a 4 *
Hotel was great, clean, nice, good location and breakfast was awesome. One gripe is that our friends' 'single' rooms were bigger and better than our 'double' room (which had two twin beds pushed together), and we paid more than (about 20 Euros more) twice the price of a single for it.
Hotel on hard 4 stars in all options for sure! Very welcomed staff. Placed pretty close to the ski lifts and shopping centers. Saunas heaters turned off around 6 p.m. no chance to go later. Only jacuzzi was available after this time.
excellent location and very good buffet breakfast. good value dinners and lunches. quite a busy hotel during my stay
well-organized for skiers (e.g. separate room to dry your ski boots); closed to the ski pistes; friendly staff; there are no non-smoker rooms;smoking allowed in the lobby;
Friendly staff, made me very welcoming.
I chose this hotel based on its close proximity to the ski lifts, restaurants and available parking. Upon arrival I wasn’t disappointed – the hotel enjoys an excellent location and the staff is friendly and helpful. Should I visit Pas de las Casa I will definitely stay at the Font D’Argent again. Happy holidays!
Nice breakfast, spa and bathroom. No noise insulation through windows, bed a little hard. Not really up to 4 star standard.
The hospitality and breakfast.
Very good and comfortable hotel. The breakfast is tasty. There are boxes downstairs for ski and ski boots and no need to take all your ski staff to your room. The staff is very polite and always ready to help you! My best regads to Josep and his family! Thanks a lot for hospitality!
Gorgeous boutique hotel. Very good customer service, went to great lengths to resolve a problem with our room. The upgraded rooms are really nice, great idea for a special stay. Very good restaurant (foie gras and chocolate on the menu for starters!) and good quality breakfast. Conveniently just over the border from France and right next to the ski lifts and they offer guided excursions for the more adventurous. Apart from a restaurant opposite there is nothing else around, you need to get in the car to for supplies in Pas de la Casa or Soldeu. Hot tub cool (32 deg) and water not particularly clean.
Promimity to ski slope, good food and wine. Only two serving staff in restaurant and bar were pleasant. Rest were verging on the rude. Spa staff were not inviting.
Unbeatable location, great food, helpful staff.
Good bar and lounge area.Clkose to ski slopes. Buffet, generally ok, not really a big fan of buffets, occasionally some food cold, ie chips.
nice employees and large & bright rooms. upgrade to extra large room for few eur possible when available. rooms were very clean and comfortable pool and sauna in the basement. access from rooms not comfortable.
Great location, helpful staff, good variety of plentiful food. Excellent Value.
breakfast/dinner buffets no towels or bed sheets provided in room.
location and facilities initial room allocation was poor (not what we'd booked) and we had to move rooms which was a hassle. hotel explanation was ok but could have been dealt with at check-in.
Confortable andquiet, even with a full house.excellent variety of services offered for skying: rental, and free locker and guided tours. Very good buffet meals. Bar is an all-smoking area.
Easy access to ski slopes. No view from small bedroom window and no a/c if staying in the summer.
Food was ok until my wife had food poisioning - could have only been from the hotel (we only ate there) and probably the breakfast omlette. Pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were relaxing. Triple room was small. No desk - no kettle/Shower head didn't fic to the wall and hairdryer broke. Don't count on the parking!
The man working in the breakfast room in the morning was really friendly and forthcoming. The rooms were OK. The personnel behind the reception seemed almost grumpy and definitely overcharged. Almost all guests in the hotel were British and not the most polite kind of them. The Himalaya seems to mainly host people from low low low cost package trips from the UK
The staff were nfriendly and very helpfull. Car parking was a bit tight.
Close to the slopes
convenient to slopes and ski hire very difficult underground parking
The hotel staff where very friendly we had a comfortable stay at the alaska the room was cleaned each day towel's etc where replaced if needed.the hotel was only a short walk to the ski lifts
Excellent personal service. Rear lower rooms had no view - just an enclosed yard with light from the top.
The room was modern with a very nice bathroom, the location was good and staff friendly. Our room was for 4 people although sofa bed was uncomfortable and not enough crockery for 4 people and no kettle in kitchen area. Although location good for sking and restaurants, very noisey in early hours of morning and people returning to hotel.
desk staff very nice extractor fans in bathroom / kitchen not working, 2 beds for 3 men in a triple room (we had to pay to upgrade) £20 cleaning deposit on kitchen, but no cleaning materials - not even a sponge, no internet in room as advertised, central heating thermostat not working - either very hot room or very cold room, the one english language channel (BBC World) had a terrible picture, only 2 bowls in a kitchen desined for up to 6 people (suite), tiny cups!
very good location, just 200 m from skilift small studio with view on wall
Location was good for skiing, bathrooms were very good. Parking was very expensive and very limited.
helpful staff, swift check in process. allowed to use shower facilities in fitness area even after checking out.spacious apartment unit.
The owners and staff of the hotel were fantastic! They were friendly and helpfull at all times, spoke fluent English,French,Spanish and Catalan. The breakfast was simple but very nice.Right next to all the shops, restaurants and only 50m from the slopes. There are some great bars very close but couldnt hear any noise in the bedrooms!
Hotel owner Josep extremely friendly and personable. The staff was freindly and accommodating. The heater in the room was a little hard to adjust to a comfortable level for sleeping.
From the moment we walked through the front door we felt like we were guests in a friends home
Josep and his staff gave us a unforgettable ski weekend in Pas dela Casa. I highly recommend this Hotel. Close to everything good breakfast ans the service wow!
very friendly, good location to the slopes, good breakfast
Three lads staying for a long weekend of skiing. Hotel owner/managers were fantastic. Could not have asked for more choice at breakfast. Within spitting distance of the ski lifts. You could really not ask for more yet they gave us a free upgrade from a triple to two twin rooms. Abosolutely superb and I would recommend anyone to stay there on their visit to Pas De La Cas for a little skiing. There was nothing that I would complain about, we left a 12 euro tip for the cleaner and they returned it as they were worried we left it! Like I say cannot fault them!
Great view from our window, large well equipped bathroom with lots of hot water, and really convenient for the slopes. Would recommend. The bedroom was a bit too hot, and even with the radiator off all the time, and the window open I was still too hot to sleep well.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent overall quality. High quality food, but not enough local influence in cuisine.
Very comfortable room, great staff. Great location for mountain sports.
Very friendly staff
efficiently run. good selection and quantity of food in the dining room and cheerful and obliging staff therein bedrooms overheated . poor ski and boot room facilities as not good having to use a flight of stairs to access it across from a side road
The Spa facilities and location to Gondala have booked again for the winter
Stayed here several times, excellent ski hotel adjacent to the telecabin, lovely views of the mountain, handy ski lockers and friendly service. Nothing
From the moment you walked in to the hotel you knew it was going to be very nice and I was not disappointed. Very relaxed feel to the hotel in an amazing setting among the mountains.
Have skied in Andorra, thought a visit in Summer would be good, it really was but far more relaxing, found at golf course at the top of the Telecabine and the hotel was a haven of peace and tranquility, excellent.
Excellent hotel in fab location next to gondola. Views from suite overlooking fantastic views.Great food-plenty of choice. Extremely helpful staff members.A good all-round hotel.Would definately return. Shame there was no swimming pool for children.
I've already been there before, so didn't decide for a long time.
good breakfast (including hot choice), good heating in rooms (with thermostat) excellent value for money, right in the centre very difficult to parkoutside free, (although can pay extra for parking) town is just full of alcohol shops and perfume shops! (low duty)
Excellent value for money. Clean and comfortable. Reception staff very helpful. Accommodation excellent with both cable and WiFi internet connection. Good buffet breakfast. Restaurants close by for eating out.
front of desk staff happy, changed our room quickly as there were some problems with original, let us check in early, generally friendly people, no major complaints, easy access to the pistes and shops, one of the better hotels in pas de la casa, will stay again as pretty much the rest of the hotels in pas are pretty awful and this is one of the better ones. huge staircase to reception, rooms were old and tired, tiled floor, food was basic, beds hard and uncomfortable, we had a quadruple room and were expected to make up additional beds ourselves, not what i would expect from a 4 star hotel, smoking in rooms and hotel although normal for andorra, wifi did not work well in room at all. Parking issues outside but then its a town centre hotel.
The location, very near the slopes. Lack of parking space. However, there is a big (paid) parking nearby.
I liked the location - it's really close to the ski lifts - the staff and the breakfast. And I loved having free internet in the lobby. Although they had internet conection in the rooms, it was cable (not wireless) and we should have our own cables! Of course we didn't, and we had to go down to the lobby everytime we wanted to conect. Also, the elevators took for ever to arrive and one of them didnt go to the reception (!) Finaly, too much smoke in the cafe...
I stayed there some years before and I liked that the standard was still at the same level Animals allowed in rooms. There was a dog in the next room barking at 8:30 AM
Proximity to slopes the dinner buffet was awful - we ate out most nights
The location above all No
Location was very central and close to ski lifts. cheap and basic room.
the staff member when we arrived was very helpful and sorted a problem with our bathroom door immediately. the staff in the dining room in the morning also were very pleasant. i didn,t read any reviews about the hotel befor i booked so i can't accurately answer the question ' do you think internet reviews reflect my experience in the hotel'. so i have ticked yes to fulfill the obligation of 'yes or no'.,
Only stayed the one night good value for money
Central location, good for a one night stay The road the hotel was in is undergoing roadworks and is closed. We had to park some distance away and carry out things to-and-from the hotel.
Central location, helpful staff, practical, spacious and clean room
very cmfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful
fair price poor wi-fi connection
Good Hotel, Central location to all shopping and can ski in/out in Winter. Very clean and would definately stay there again
view from the room window of the mountains The road out side the hotel was in the middle of roadworks so was only accessable on foot, which I would have been able to tell if I had waited until I Got to Pas De Lea Casa to get a room rather than booking on line
the food was excellent the rooms were a good size and clean and the hotel was close to the ski slopes and the staff were frendly
Very friendly, very comfortable and well maintained
The staff at Hotel Meta are extremely friendly and curteous. The breakfast buffet was beautifully laid out and delicious. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern and homely.
it was everything very good. service, food and facilities localization could be more centered
The hotel was very cute and the breakfast they put out each morning was quite large and impressive. The hotel was a bit hard to find, they should really put a sign up on the main road in the town. The beds were also as hard as rock which made sleeping a little difficult.
Helpfulness of staff was excellent. Parking on site. Hotel position shown on map was not accurate. We had a job to find it.
Staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean.
breakfast was nice, hotel staff is very helpful and creates a nice and friendly atmosphere. the hotel reminded us to the family pensions of Austria. sound protection between rooms, external look (which applies to many hotels in Pas de la Casa)
