Pros: It was close to the attraction we were there for.
Cons: I showed up to check in, and they didn't have my reservation and was told there wasn't a room available. Eventually the staff decided to clean a room so we could stay. The shower was a lot like standing under a kinked hose and nearly warm water temperature.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Liked that there were 3 pools that gave us a choice of being able to find a pool that was not crowded to be able to relax and unwind. Loved the coffee bar and the friendly staff. Our room was clean and beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Thought the rooms were reasonable but the drinks and restaurants within the hotel seemed a bit pricey but the meals we ordered were very good. Tried to get an appointment at the spa while we were there but no openings which was a disappointment.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was excellent nice big and spacious
Cons: Loved the view and the amenities are wonderful
7.1 Good
Pros: Hotel outdated really did not live up to the name. Staff was great and spa was nice
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Our room was nice. Staff was friendly. We liked the resort style, watch movies at their theatre and play games in the arcade
Cons: The whole property overall is rundown
5.0 Okay
Pros: Beautiful view
Cons: The hotel was extremely under staffed. The buildings are beautiful but are not being maintained and cleaned well. The pools were also in need of a cleaning. The staff was kind and the view was great. This could be such an amazing place.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Very dirty.. did not bother cleaning anything outside the room. It was filthy hallway! Garbage and dirt allover.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff was fine, courteous and helpful.
Cons: Room was on the small side. It was not in the main lodge where I've stayed before, but in a separate building. The shower handle came off the first morning preventing us from showering. It was fixed that day but was still annoying. The mattress on the bed was terrible...very soft and not supportive. I grew up in the lake area when the Lodge was the best around, and have stayed in the main lodge on previous visits home. I will not stay here again unless I can be in the main lodge where the rooms are decent.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was awesome.
Cons: The room did not have a mini fridge or microwave. The grounds where run down .
6.3 Good
Pros: Bedding was comfortable. Nice having a private balcony.
Cons: There were 4 different ice machines located within our area. None of them worked. The vending machine of drinks was empty as well. No mini fridge in room which wouldnt have been a big deal if ice and beverages had been available.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Good location and you can tell it was an amazing resort 20 years ago, but it's fun down and the staff are invisible.
Cons: Lack of staff, not ADA compliant, run down
5.0 Okay
Cons: Our room had no hot water. There was almost no staff around, not worth even trying to remedy the hot water situation--we were only there one night. Check-in took almost 30 minutes because no one was in the lobby.
4.6 Okay
Pros: I truly appreciated the way management immediatly took the initiative to "make it right". There was no hesitation in making sure we were accommodated for the shortcomings of the hotel. The front desk staff instantly upgraded our room to the luxury sweet; however, it had its concerns as well, but was an improvement. The grounds were lovely and peaceful. The overall staff were polite and friendly. The spa was nice and the best part of our trip. I only wish the spa staff were more knowledgeable and better trained.....not apprentices, considering I paid full price. I feel there was only one therapist during my all day spa encounter who was truly well trained, and she was my massage therapist.
Cons: The original room and overall experience of the hotel was not what I feel was advertised. I feel the facility was unable to render the services they advertise. The maintenance of the entire facility was haphazard at best; however, Debbie the manager did eveything she could to make our experience better, and in a very timely manner, which made our experience a bit more pleasurable. I feel the overall hotel would benefit from an overhall; primarily in the maintenance and housekeeping departments. I took pictures of a peeling bathtub, large bugs in a light fixture and a screen door with majority of the screen hanging off and that could not close, and sent them to Debbie the manager. The indoor pool was one of the main reasone we choose the facility; however, we were not ever able to utilize it, due to lack of cleanliness and squirrels that had invaded the indoor area. I feel the grounds have great potential and obviously was a marvelous facility in its time, but now is left with an archaic outdated feel that gives a dismal allure.

Pros: Clean
Cons: The indoor pool looked murky. The outside pool was closed whyI went to try to swim at 7pm. The restaurant was closed. Despite being on the waterfront there was very little view of the water and no access to it
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The indoor pool and playground were great for our 5 year old granddaughter to play. The purpose of our trip was to have fun with her so we were pleased. Restaurant on site was also very good. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Our room smelled a little musty when we arrived and a/c was a little noisy. There was a water leak during the thunderstorm overnight and the floor got wet in the half of the room closest to the window, also getting some of our things wet that were on the floor.
6.3 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Both pools
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean, spacious, and fresh. Very nice pool facilities (indoor and outdoor options), even a small game room. Easy access off highway, no lake views but great place to stay for a night or two and easy drive to many locations.
Cons: Breakfast was pretty basic, but it was free. Coffee was not good, not strong enough and a darker roast would be nice. No complaints otherwise, great place to stay for the value.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: The room smelled musty and really needed to be updated but you get what you pay for.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: 24 hour pool
Cons: Hotel was completely out of towels, our room only had 1 bath towel. Was suppose to be a double bed, we got a single king and had to sleep on the floor.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing. We arrived at the hotel at 1:45 in the morning and had called ahead for a late check in. When we got our room the desk clerk was very kind. We walked all the way across the hotel to get to our room and it was completely trashed.
Cons: Dirty bedding was left on the floor and nasty mattress uncovered. Trash was still left in room. It had obviously not been touched. We went back to the front desk for another room, just to be assigned another dirty room before finally getting a clean room.
