Pros: A lovely gem of a hotel on the Haute Route hiking trail. A real pleasure to stay here. The best thing about it was the set meal, you should definitely get this! It was fab, tasty and well presented. The staff were all very friendly and happy. The room was comfortable. Great bathroom. Washing lines available outside around the side of the building so you could dry your hiking stuff in the sun after giving it a handwash. Le Sage is a really pretty little village :) Also right on the path of the Haute Route.

Cons: The building is very old and since we were on the top floor, you can tell a noticeable sloping. The two twin beds pushed together were not lining up due to the unevenness of the floor. The room was very small, we did have a nice updated bathroom through.

Pros: Nice location, friendly staff
Pros: Beautiful large modern room with its own lounge area Fantastic facilities Great breakfast Great staff
Pros: The hostess was very charming, and my room on the top floor with a sitting room and balcony was luxurious. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant served a great green salad, and the fries were very good.
Cons: There was a slight amount of mold in the shower, unexpected in a room of this quality. I expect the hotel will bleach and paint this over soon. The restaurant served a Croute au Fromage that needed a more flavorful Cheese, and more of it. Their hamburger was serviceable, perhaps needing mayo or more catsup.

Cons: Facilities a little outdated but charming :) Village with few options for food and shopping
Pros: Perfect location and a great bar with a log fire
Pros: This place appeared like an oasis at the end of a long trek, right off the hiking trail. Staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel was gorgeous, with a beautiful drawing room with fireplace and a cozy charming bar/restaurant below. We had an unbelievably delicious meal. The room was clean and comfortable, with s balcony looking into the forest. Such a gorgeous place!
Pros: Clean, great staff and amazing views.

Pros: Grand old hotel lovingly restored
Pros: This place is amazing. The setting is lovely, but it is the cozy interior and food (dinner and breakfast) that sets it apart. Excellent value for money.
Pros: The breakfast was a usual Swiss "continental" breakfast, as us Brits like to call it! The hotel is the last building before the Alpine wilderness begins, hence the best location for to start an adventure.
Located in Evolene, Hôtel Aiguille de La Tza is within a 5-minute drive of Les Fontanesses 1 Ski Lift and Blue Lake. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room was super super beautiful and big. Breakfast was very complete
Pros: Great spacious room, bed was very comfortable, great bathroom with huge tub, dinner at the restaurant was great as well as breakfast buffet, check in was very easy and the hotel staff was responding to emails quickly
Cons: The location is slightly out of town which limits your dinner choices, since my French is pretty bad and most of the staff did not speak English, communicating had some challenges. Some of the rooms don't have a private bathroom, ours did and it was well worth it.
Cons: We felt the owner just want to make extra money from us and did not honor what they told us. When we checked in we were told that we could have half-board for 35CHF/person. However, when we checked out, they charged us 50CHF/person for breakfast (15CHF) and dinner(35CHF). They also charged us 5CHF for tap water; when we questioned, they said it's the service and not the price of tap water.
Pros: Nice old building. I had dorm bed room to myself. Great food
Pros: We loved this property! Very quaint and clean!
Cons: Paid 15 chf for breakfast and there was a big group of kids before us so barely any food left and they didn’t replenish it.
Pros: Perfect stay in a perfect place.
Pros: We stayed in the remodeled upper floor— the rooms were beautiful and spacious by European standards. The breakfast included with our stay was generous in proportions and in variety and was delicious. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel — food was excellent and a better value than other places we had scoped out in Arolla.
Cons: The property is downhill and a five minute walk from the rest of the town.
Pros: Nice location, a little away from the central town, quiet and peaceful.

Pros: Very helpful and responsive staff. Both on the phone and via email
Cons: Bad accoustic insulation. I could hear the people in the neighbouring room snoring
Pros: Location was perfect and very friendly staff
Cons: The room wasn't very clean (you couldn't understand if the sheets were clean or not because they were not white).
Pros: There was no one there when we arrived. The heating was off and it had been sleeting / snowing on and off throughout the day. The room had a terrible smell of sewer and there was an empty packet of cigarettes and a dirty sock in the drawer.
Cons: See above....
Pros: Good location, comfortable room, clean, good staff
Pros: This was a great location handy to most facilities in the village and handy to the bus. A very interesting old building.
Pros: Location for mountains or beyond or just ambience
