Pros: Convenience on the road.
I reserved a room at Hampton Inn, Malvern because it was close to two local historic sites that I wanted to visit.
The desk clerk referred me to a friendy Episcopal Church just a short drive away, which suited my Sunday needs very well.
The room accomodation had several welcome conveniences such as fridge, microwave oven, coffee/tea maker, TV and was very quiet and fresh. The bathroom was supplied with thoughtful items.
A large room had been provided for breakfast for a sports/family event in the area so the breakfast bar was adequately accomodating for just regular folk.
I will definitely stay here again while visiting family in the area.
Cons: One very small problem with the room was that the bathtub plug did not function to stop water flowing out.
I also found that the room a/c unit could not be programed to my preferred temperature, which is higher than the default cooling setting
Pros: Clean rooms, nice free breakfast. Only downside was when we called the front desk for pillows and a toothbrush, they made us come down to the front desk to get them. In my past experiences, I have usually received items directly to the room. To me, this exhibited some laziness on the hotels staff's part
Cons: See above

Cons: The workout facilities could use an upgrade and variety could be added to the equipment. The parking situation (Parking available on site for $20 per night or a block away for $5) is not ideal but is workable.

Pros: Access to anything you need and breakfast was great. Room was clean, bathroom was spacious.

Pros: The appearance, the spaciousness of the room and the antique furniture!

Personal attention to detail and outstanding customer service provided by hotel staff. Don't tell anybody else about this place!
Pros: A first class operation and staff. The room was great, as were the meals and customer service! Definitely choose this B&B over any nearby hotels.
A historic country inn, convenient to the western main line. rooms were comfortable and well furnished. gardens are lovely, location is quiet and secluded and a nice break from the noise of traffic. Would not suit anybody looking for an elevator or basic hotel room fixings but personally I liked it a lot and will sign I on my next trip to the US.
Pros: hotel has great old world charm along with all the idiosyncrasies of creaky floor boards and micro bathroom. if you love the history you have to live that too.. also loved meeting up with Tom and Patrick and Clive who was charming.
Cons: I don't like the tipping system having lived out of the US for over 20 years but I do understand the need for it. Food was just OK I found it a bit fussy. the service was excellent. they clearly have a great local following.

Cons: Nothing during my stay concerned me or bothered me. The only suggestion for improvement to make everything even better would be more insulation in between walls. It seems like all walls were thin.
Pros: Bathroom sink leaked and blow dryer did not work.
Pros: It's a good hotel if you just need somewhere to sleep
Cons: Their fitness center had 3 pieces of cardio equipment and only one worked. And their breakfast was cereal and blue berry muffins. I'm not one to leave reviews or believe them but it was just a very basic hotel. Also all of the vending machines were completely empty and their restaurant is closed until further notice.

Cons: Poor mgt. very poor facilities. Turned water off to whole hotel at 2 pm on sat so we had to wait 2 hr for s shower and were late for a 5 pm graduation dinner . They were doing construction?? They planned this??
Pros: Inexpensive and convenient
Cons: The freezer portion of the fridge didn't work. We didn't realize this until we packed to leave and items were melted. Also the electrical outlets on the desk weren't working properly.
This hotel is very dated. It seemed there has been an attempt to update the rooms, but it really left much to be desired. I would never stay here again.
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.
Cons: Absolutely no amenities. A 'window' air conditioner in the back of the closet. The room was so hot and dark. Very old bathroom, shower was not clean. A flat screen TV with a satellite box which required manual push buttons to change the channel.
It's an older, single, level, 'motor lodge', on a hill beside a 'one-way' lane of a highway. The exterior was a bit run down but, the rooms where clean and the beds comfortable.
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds. Able to park 3 feet from the room door!
Cons: The bathtub/shower floor was DEADLY slippy! There were no hand-holds. I had to throw the washcloths in under my feet to keep from slipping to my death!
Friendly owner, long ownership. Knew about local train station into Philly.
Pros: Location near places we wanted to tour. On major busy route and above on hill. Lovely trees. Had microwave and refrig. Owner was accommodating to change. Small room and small price. building looked recently painted. Had Wi-fi.
Cons: Entrance was blocked by divided hwy from one direction. Needed to drive past and turn around to enter. No guide to TV stations. No hooks or places to hang clothes in bathroom. Would have used outside picnic table.
The Sentinel Hotel was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and the manager was pleasant. He accomodated a last minute change for an extra night. When I am in the West Chester area again, I would not hesitate to stay at the Sentinel.
Pros: It was clean and the price was very reasonable
Cons: It only had 2 towels and 2 washclothes, and only 2 pillows on the bed.
Sentinel Motel puts you within a 15-minute drive of Longwood Gardens. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: We expected the room to be equipped with pots/pans, coffee maker etc. We had to ask for them but they were given to us when we did ask.
Pros:  the front desk was genuinely accommodating! She made me feel like I could ask her any question and that she would do her best to assist me. She had a helper  Who offered tips on local festivals that were in progress .
Cons: The room was too warm and there was only one garbage can. There was a pile of weird metal giant staples left on the bed and I noticed after I slept all night that the sheet had laundered but visible old stains.
Pros: The area closest to destination.
Cons: The do not make your bed daily. They do not refresh towels daily. The hotel smelled of tobacco. Room wasn't stocked with dishes pans utensil you had to ask for them. No soap or bottle holder in the shower area. Stained toilet not maintained.
Pros: Staff was extremely pleasant, accommodating, and professional. Room was clean and functional. Hotel was close to several major highways for ease of travel. Great value.
Cons: Just very very mediocor for price
Pros: The location in Great Valley is very convenient.
Cons: The room furnishing were not well made and showed great wear and tear. There was no toilet paper in the room. The internet service did not work, and I was given a Tech Support number to call. It took too long to get a response.
Pros: easy access to area
Cons: very limited utensils for kitchenette
Cons: They overbooked so I he to go to mother location. Room did not have was clothes. No ice buckets gran and go breakfast not appetizing. Had to wait for them to bring coffee out.
Pros: It was clean and provided the amenities I expected.
Cons: They did not have the general things in the room. I had to ask for things like extra toilet paper and wash clothes.
Pros: The staff was excellent.
The hotel was descent. Staff were pleasant. The room was clean for the most part. Beds was comfortable. but the bathroom could of used Clorox. It wasn't to my standards. Overall it was okay and quiet..
Pros: I like that the conveniences of able to cook. The room had a kitchenette.
Cons: We had to request for the kitchen supplies in order to cook.
Pros: It was fairly clean and at a good location
Cons: I didnt have any wash cloths in my room. There was always the smell of smoke even though the hotelnwas non smoking
Enjoy your visit to Malvern with a stay at Extended Stay America Philadelphia - Malvern -Swedesford Rd. Guests can take a dip in the indoor pool or visit the fitness center for a workout. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators, refrigerators, and microwaves.
Cons: The room furniture was dusty and there was trash by the nightstand and behind the bed . The bed was very old and uncomfortable and the sheets did not fit the bed. The desk attendant was miserable and acted like she was doing me a favor to open the locked lobby door and check me in. She was terrible. I asked for two room keys and she said she could only give me one because"they were almost out of keys". My boyfriend had difficulty getting into the lobby and I had to go out of my room and let him in. The attendant was no where to be found. He had to text me so I could go let him in the lobby door.
I don't believe I will ever stay there again.
