Amaizing riad. One of the most beautiful places to stay in Fes.
Some staff could improve how they treat the guests. There is no welcom tea which is normal in other riads and first question is about paying the bill.
The decor was lovely.
We were actually booked in at a smaller Riad in the Medina, however after checking in and spending our first night there, we decided to find a place which was more upmarket and quieter and had a larger bathroom. Hence our booking at Riad Safina. Despite the grandiose decor, we found this Riad to be impersonal and overrated . We had booked a tour from the other Riad prior to terminating our booking, and the staff of that Riad had checked up on us via the tour guide to enquire how we experienced the tour. The staff at Riad Safina did not offer any tips or tour suggestions etc. The bathroom had a bad odor emanating from the shower drainage. When we checked out the staff did not offer assistance to arrange someone to help with our luggage or enquire if we required a taxi.
Very beautiful riad. Large enough to keep you stay and enjoy the traditional moroccan style architecture and decoration at it’s highest level. Friendly owner and staff. Inside the old medina and close to one of the main gait and center.
Public areas super with all the mosaic tiles. Pool looked great too
More light in rooms, unable to read as sooo dark. Bathroom could do with a good clean Breakfast could have been better
They didn’t offer organised excursions
