It was conveniently close to the autoroute for breaking a long journey. It was a shame that the restaurant wasn't open.
Location , hairdryer not working ,bulbs not working
The staff is nice and polite. Noisy until late at night, with people going to and fro at any time.Walls are as thin as cardboard: you can hear your room neighbours speak and watch TV. Indeed, not a hotel for businessmen who need to sleep and wake up early.
Helpful staff and outstanding quality of food
Very friendly and helpful staff. Further out from the centre than expected so a car was essential
Pleasant staff and central location Room starting to look shabby with broken light fitting and broken shower unit
Nice place. Smsll room but cosy. Inside the room they offer kettle, hair-dryier, every day cleaning service.
The staff was very helpful and the hotel is convenient situated for our cycle trip from Switzerland to Provence. It would be an advantage, if there would be a dry space to store the bicycles over night.
The service at this hotel is better than anything I have ever experienced. Without exception, the staff were polite, courteous, friendly and cheerful. We stayed one night with our 7-year old daughter and were not charged for the extra bed that was supplied. The restaurant was excellent and the food was very reasonably priced. The location is also very good. Easy to find close to Grenoble and five minutes walk from the major local attraction - the Chartreuse caverns.
Good value for money. Some furnitures are used and need replacement. Two of my colleagues were moved 2 times to be in a room where everything was functionning.
Warm, clean and easy to find. The restaurant open untill 23:00hrs
The dinner was good and good value, friendly waitress, and was available at a late hour The sliding bathroom door was broken. Extra pillows should have been available in the room
Clean and tidy room, comfortable bed, staff were polite and quite friendly. Double Room felt a bit cramped and the walls were not very thick, making it easy to hear nearly everything in rooms around you.
It was convenient for the Autoroute, and the WiFi was useful. The hotel was secluded from traffic noise. The room was booked for three people, but I had to retrieve a poor campbed from under the double for my son who is 1.97m tall and ask at reception for a pillow, a cup and supplies for the tea making facility, towels etc. The hairdryer didn't work and there was an enormous party of rowdy children....I'm not given to complaining, but you did ask!
arrived at 11.30pm and left by 8.45am so not actually there that long! Beds comfy, showers good. inadequate tea/coffee facilities in each room i.e. only one tea bag in each room (which was for 2 people!)
Good breakfast good location very close to the highway so it was very easy to find very clean rooms The rooms where too small they were one level under the reception no lift I had to carry my laggages and go down few steps
Clean, air condition, next to the highway (easy to find). Free parking. In the family room, there is a small refridgerator, sink, and even a small dishwasher, but there is not any plates, forks, spoons, glasses, etc. So if you want make your on evening snack or breakfast you have to bring your own set of cutlery or buy from a nearby shop. Swimming pool was a bit small.
The rooms were very pretty and the beds extremely comfortable. the outdoor pool was also a bonus No changing facilities for the pool
Hotel was a bit difficult to locate - needed to use car to find places to eat in Voiron.
Room and facilities were excellent. Staff very helpful. Only suggestions would be to improve the lounge, meeting area in foyer especially when guests have to use this area for WiFi access.for such a quality hotel in a good location for business and holiday travelers ( whi do not want to stay in big city), WiFi access in rooms would be big improvement. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and room was great.
Surprisingly nice restaurant with an excellent kitchen! Wonderful, cooperative staff. Very bright, nice rooms.
Clean and welcoming
Pleaseant hotel, easy to find near the highway. Friendly staff, nice swimming pool and good restarant, both for dinner and breakfast.
Very comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Parking available and convenient for onward travel. Restaurant closed on Sunday night, no information about this available on your site or that of the hotel. On request, reception provided a town centre map and marked the area where restaurants are found. However, most of the restaurants in Voiron are also closed on Sunday night - it would be better that they provided clear information rather than sending us to places that are closed. We did find one place to eat which was open by asking a couple in the centre of town. The proprietor there confirmed the closure of restaurants saying that chefs want to spend Sunday with their families.
The owner and his wife were absolutely lovely and I wish them very well. Their chateau is lovely and the swimming pool beautiful. The rooms are far too tiny, there is no ventilation and no air conditioning. I was bitten by mosquitoes because I was forcred to leave the door open to get ventelation.
The food was excellent and the staff were charming. The modern design of the bedroom was also attractive. It was not possible to get fresh air in the bedroom except by opening a french door. Perhaps because there was a reunion taking place at the hotel at the time, there was also nowhere to relax except in the room, as the weather was too cool to use the swimming pool area...
The hotel offers free wifi but there is no table in the room. The room was full of ants, ok this can happen, the hotell is in an immense park but i have said it to the receptionist but nobody took action to clean the room.
I stayed in a studio of the hotel - and enjoyed to have my own little kitchenette - that was very handy as I stayed for more than 2 weeks - the service in the studio is the same as in the rooms - cleaning every day. The choice in the restaurant and in the brasserie was limited - it is probably ok for someone just staying 1 or 2 nights - but not for longer period. Also the quality of the cuisine was not always good - same dish on different days = different quality
There really wasn't anything to dislike about this hotel - good location, helpful and pleasant staff, the rooms were clean, tidy and well equipped and a choice of restaurants. I'd certainly recommend the hotel.
Size of the appartments and the bed Slightly shabby decoration in the appartment. Unfriendly staff in the brasserie.
staff very freindly. Food excellent and great value for money
Friendly Staff, Good for late arrivals, Close to main route to alps
freindly staff rooms smelt of smoke - Expensive for type of hotel - expected more from the hotel from expanation on web site at booking
reasonable price, big parking space, acceptable restaurant, clean room WiFi connection requires special registration and nearly no signal of mobile network connection. Breakfast is as poor as most of French hotels.
Very friendly helpfull and obliging staff. A comfortable and good value hotel, ideally situated within the town.
location and price; basic but value for money no bar or cafe
Good position for what I wanted, and for bars ect No bad points
The sheets were not changed on a daily basis - but when I asked on day 2 they were changed but only on this occassion. Also the floor was very obviously dirty and it wasn;t until I requested it to be rectified that it was done. Parts of the breakfast was not fresh on both occassions. About 35 minutes by train to Lyon - nothing really to do in this location.
The leisurely breakfast No hairdryer in bathroom
no room for 4 persons : 2 adults + 2 children
Cheap and good location
Its convenience next to shops, bars and restaurants. No.
Clean room, fairly comfortable (reflected the price per room), reasonably close to the airport/motorways, morning receptionist very cordial, breakfast available if required (at extra cost). Despite the confirmation stating that we could check in up to 23h00 the hotel was closed when we arrived at 22h20 and we could not get past the security gate into the car park. I walked around to the hotel entrance and found a telephone number to ring and was told by the woman that answered that check in was until 22h00. That said she gave me the codes to get in to both the car park and the hotel and advised that the keycard for the room had been left in the lock so we did gain access to the hotel & room. However, it was extremely dark round the hotel and very cold, -5c, plus I speak fluent french so conversing was not a problem - I think that a non-french speaker would probably have had a great deal more problems in even getting into the hotel let alone understanding where the key had been left. Other points - no lift so had to drag cases up the stairs to the first floor - not easy to find despite being right on the main road as no signs (lit or otherwise) that are easily spotted from the road in the dark. - we requested a twin room (which was stated on the confirmation)and got a double and, since there was no hotelier/night staff on site, there was little we could do to change that.
A very basic room and Hotel.Staff friendliness and the cleanliness of the room were the good points, particularly the receptionists who spoke excellent English.
Welcoming friendly staff. Room facilities OK.
The hotel seems under renovation.
Friendly and nice staff shower head was broken
Breakfast was good and worth the 7 euros price tag. The bathroom and toilet were seperate. The internet connection was simple and free. The bathroom was functional if not on the small side and the toilet was even smaller. The air conditioning in both rooms was inoperable and one room had dead beatles in the bathroom and had obviously not been used or cleaned for some time. The hotel advertised the restaurant as open and serving until 10pm. However upon our arrival at 9pm we were told everything was closed and that there was fast food available in one direction and a town in the other which had restaurants?
We stayed 1 night on our way to the Alps for a week skiing holiday. The hotel was conveniently located, and we had a family room which was perfect - our children had their own room with the only door being into the main room. The staff were very friendly, and even looked after a toy cat that got forgotten until we could collect it the following week on our way back.
Near to motorway, therefore good overnight stop. Basic, clean accommodation and restaurant is good standard considering it's relative cheapness. Quite noisy due to proximity to motorway
Good stop-over hotel
Room nice and close to car-charming mangaer None
Good value for money. Excellent location for stop over. Polite and helpfull staff.
Easy access clean hotel Limited menu but fine for our over night stay
THe position The moquette of the room
The hotel is conveniently close to the autoroute but situated in a quiet area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is basic but clean and functional. Perfect for an overnight stay en-route to the Alps, as we were. The restaurant is adequate with reasonable food.
The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We felt welcomed No
I liked this hotel very much as it had lots of character. the staff were helpful and the breakfast was very nice. We are used to quiet situations and this hotel, although in the countryside, is situated on a busy roundabout so I did not sleep. I had particularly asked for a quiet room with twin beds and got a front room with one double bed!! When we arrived at about 10pm the hotel was closed and we had e-mailed about a late arrival. The staff had helpfully sent us directions about how to access our room but we could not change the room situation then, as no staff were available.
