Excellent 10.0
Pros: Total experience from arrival to departure...perfect experience
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I am reluctant to call this a hotel it is like being a very special guest in this wonderful couple's beautiful and unique home. An interesting and imposing building perched on a hill with wonderful views towards the Alps. Rooms and communal areas are all decorated and furnished in a quirky way that reflect the personality of the hard working owner family. The food is special and with all the personal touches and home made additions the evening meal and breakfast served in a beautifully restored conservatory is an experience in itself. I highly recommend this establishment. Do it!
Cons: Sadly it was raining and a bit cloudy during my stay which meant my view from a beautiful veranda accessed directly from my room was tantalisingly obscured. Other than that it is impossible to fault anything about this superb establishment.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic place, fantastic food, fantastic rooms, the service top and the staff/owners very nice and helpful. Value for money, a place to come back to. Thank you so much for this great experience.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful house. Exvellant service, good breakfasy
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I was Walking on the GR65 Camino; Very beautiful location and friedly staff - Thanks for a wonderful stop there
Excellent 9.5
Pros: A warm welcome.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The place is perfect. Beatifully designed and comofortable. Tought is in every detail from the lines to the soaps. Breakfast is great. One of the best places we have stayed in.
Cons: Lack of a possiblty to make tea or coffee in the room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Le Domaine de Dony is beautifully furnished from one local shop. We had booked our room, and on arriving were offered a different room if we wanted it. Both rooms were very different so it was a difficult choice, but eventually we selected the one with both a bath and a shower. Our hosts were very accommodating. Their restaurant was closed but a meal was cooked just for us, as we were the only guests that night. The food was different, and tasty. The mushroom soup with nuts and caramel crunch, has to be tasted to be believed. Very talented chef. The room was extremely clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable we had slept in. Highly recommend.
Cons: We could not fault the place or our hosts. There was nothing that we didn't like.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Beautiful view from window to the horizon. The legacy of the early 19th century in the style of a modern boutique-hotel. Up-to-date design of rooms. Perfectly equipped room with everything you need. Nice outdoor water-pool. Lovely Hostess and staff.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Le Domaine Du Dony has a wonderful ambience, the attention to detail is outstanding. A last minute find within 20 minutes of the airport was a highlight in our holiday.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: It's a beautiful appartment, very kind and helpfull staff and they really did their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable! We have only stayed for one night passing through but you can definately stay longer and enjoy the garden and swimming pont.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic place set in a fantastic location. The owners made us feel really welcome and couldn't do enough for us. We parked our two motorcycles in their garage. The room we had was new, fresh and modern. Very clean with comfortable beds. Great value, would definitely recommend
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Really nice lady, very clean and warm
Cons: Breakfast was just bread, orange juice and drinks. Cereal options would have been nice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super welcome, despite our late arrival, super comfy bed and great homemade breakfast
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very modern and clean , bedroom superb with excellent facilities. Location beautiful in the French countryside.
Good 7.9
Pros: It was a really good place for family with 3 kids. Kids sleep upstairs on single beds and parents have one double bed. There are also a big garden with trampoline and whirlpool. A breakfast in the morning was served outside which was very pleasant and nice experience.
Cons: We didn't like access to the apartment through owner's living room so we didn't have direct access outside which was quite inconvenient. I would also appreciate if there is a key to lock the apartment from inside.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Close to airport, cooking facilities and very convenient location
Cons: None

Okay 5.4
Cons: very basic breakfast, no TV in the rooms, no credit card payment, awkward smell in the house
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Friendly welcome and a delightful country location
Cons: Didn't notice that they only take cash so I had to drive 20min each way to the nearest cash point after I arrived
Okay 5.8
Pros: It is very close to Grenoble Airport (20 min drive) The host was friendly and helpful The room is modern and has a boutique hotel look and feel. And the bed is big and comfortable The radiator ;) it was cold outside but it was warm in the room which is nice It was fun for children to look at the rabbit in a cage right next to the dinner/breakfast table, plus the donkeys, chickens and cat (outside).
Cons: The bedroom is split into two levels. The room has got an adjoining window with the bathroom, which is fortunately frosted glass. If you use the bathroom at night, the light beams into the bedroom (not good for your roommates). Additionally, there are 2 clear windows in the floor of the upper level of the bedroom, looking down into the bathroom, which isn’t private at all. Said bathroom isn’t en suite. The stairs to the upper level of the room are dangerous for small children. The radiator made on/off noise throughout the night The host warned us that he will be back home 45minutes after the beginning of the check in hours, so we had to alternate our plans to arrive later to the property. We were offered dinner at restaurant prices (20€ per adult and 10€ per child including wine) we were not asked what would we like or given any choice but we still expected a hearty meal for the money...it was extreamly overpriced for what it was (starter - microwaved pumpkin soup (in a mini bowl that is normally used for creme brûlée) ,salad leaves, bread, a bit of pate and several gherkins, main - plain boiled rice and also shop bought (not homemade) quenelles lyonnaise with sauce, desert - cheese (selection of 3) a piece of slightly burned cold apple pie and half a scoop of ice cream and tea, and we also drank about half a bottle of white wine). That was 50€ for 2 adults and 1child, who didn’t even like the quenelles, meant for the main he had a bit of plain rice! The breakfast was very sweet, no savoury option was offered (croissants (1per person), baguette, butter, home made jam selection of 4 (they were very tasty!!!) and for drinks there was tea, milk, hot chocolate and juice) In the listing it clearly stated that children over the age of 2 pay 15€ per night if using EXTRA BEDS. My 3 year old slept in bed with me but the host still tried to charge us 15€, luckily we discussed that and got our 15€ back.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bedroom and the bathroon were many clean, very nice. The hospitality is the top
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Friendliness and availability of the owner.
Cons: Kleenex in the room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quiet beautiful rural setting Charming host Decorated to a high standard Fresh eggs, homemade jam and nuts from the garden for sale Donkeys and hens part of the family! Very dog friendly
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful location, and the host was super friendly! Very good English (he said he speaks Spanish as well!). Very comfortable family room, with 2 single beds up in the loft. The loft is probably only suitable for children from approx 4 years, due to the steep stairs, etc. they thoroughly enjoyed the window from the loft to the bathroom!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location to airport and how clean it was
Cons: All great! No complaints whatsoever.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Used only as an overnight stop before flying out of Grenoble. Rural location but only 20 minute drive to airport. Lovely place, we arrived too late to make use of their lovely looking restaurant but she kindly organised a simple supper for us. Situated in a lovely area, they were setting up a Sunday Market as we were leaving in the court yard by the Church, would have loved to have stayed longer. Will definitely return if in the area
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Being in the middle of nowhere next to an 11th century church
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We loved the quiet peaceful location. The hostess was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and it was great to have a restaurant on site.
Cons: Leaving.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: We lived the location of the property and the warm welcome we received from the owners.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great food (evening meal and breakfast). Friendly staff. Nice family room (double and bunks). Handy for airport (20mins). Very clean.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent room and breakfast, very friendly staff. The very quiet nights are perfect for a good sleep
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Late arrival but kept kitchen open, nothing too much trouble. Found a great place close to Grenoble airport. Host on the evening was a lovely helpful lady who really looked after us.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Such a beautiful building and setting: very welcoming, good facilities, lovely breakfast and great character.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Absolutely splendid location in tiny village, next to a wonderful Romanesque church, in a beautiful setting. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Only the beds were somewhat hard, but that's personal. Breakfast was great. Romans feels like a small haven far away from the 'real' world. Wonderful place.

Pros: Very helpful landlord
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location for Grenoble airport , friendly staff lovely breakfast
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very comfortable and exceptional value for money. I needed a place to stay after a long drive near Grenoble airport and this was pretty ideal.
Cons: A later checkout and earlier check in would be good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly welcome and very comfortable
Cons: You need a car
Good 7.5
Pros: The owners were very helpful but didn’t speak English so used a translator.
Cons: The owners were lovely but went out during the day so no one around. It would have been nice to have refreshments available in the room as we had no car we stayed in site and had nothing to drink. The pool was lovely although under a cover like a greenhouse. The place is very remote a car is essential but as we had to stay there for a wedding ended up using cabs for eating out which was very expensive. The taxi driver was lovely and always on time and recommended where to eat. Again no English but used her phone to translate!
Excellent 9.6
Cons: No coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: Wonderful breakfast, room and people. A great, quirky, family ran hotel.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Warm welcome again. Close proximity to airport
Excellent 9.2
Pros: A lovely rustic French hotel set close to the airport. Rooms are basic but spotless and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a delight with freshly squeezed juice, a selection of fresh fruits, fresh croissants and breads, coffee or tea. The Owner was very helpful, providing extra pillows and a kettle when asked. There is the added bonus of an excellent restaurant next door.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owner went well beyond the call of duty to take care of us after an unscheduled night stop due to a flight cancellation. Very generously we were collected from the airport in the snow and returned there in the morning when it became clear that transport would be difficult. We were provided with an exceptional supper at around midnight - and an equally exceptional breakfast this morning. A kinder, more positive individual would be hard to find in any walk of life. Thank you so much for looking after us!...
Okay 5.8
Pros: Friendly owner collected us from the airport and dropped us back to the airport. Nice local town with a number of restaurants, but if you are travelling with young children, don't expect to find much / anything open before 7pm. The restaurant next door to the hotel was nice enough - their menu was a bit sophisticated for my 4 year old, but they did their best to accommodate her with something simpler and she was happy!
Cons: No shower in the bathroom (just a shower attachment by the bath taps) so not possible to have a shower. Some extras were added to the bill without explanation (we'd been offered some slightly stale leftover croissants from the previous morning's breakfast, which we weren't expecting to be charged for and there was no mention of a charge at the time, which I assumed to be because they were leftovers which would otherwise be binned, but these were added to the bill). Also a charge was added for the airport transfers, which we'd understood to be included as part of the hotel's offering.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The owner was very helpful
Cons: Nothing really
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Owner collected us from and took us back to Grenoble Airport on a one night stopover after our ski holiday. Fantastic service.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The breakfast although on the pricey side was amazing and definitely you got what you paid for in terms of quantity and quality. Nothing was too much trouble and the condiments were home made the freshly squeezed orange juice was outstanding!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff were very friendly and even took us to the airport!
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Lovely room, clean and comfortable. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful and even dropped us to the airport. Super breakfast.
Cons: WiFi was extremely poor but we were only staying one night so wasn’t really an issue.

Okay 5.0
Pros: Close to the airport, WiFi good and owner tried to be hospitable
Cons: Wasn’t what we expected at all... we thought this was a small hotel or Gite... this is someone’s house and your given a room there. It’s clearly a B&B and it’s not well represented this way on the Booking.com web site. The website is not representative at all and the breakfast is tea and a helping of croissants. Again not what we expected. The rooms are dated and I don’t recommend staying here.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The generosity of Giancarlo. The nearest restaurant is over 4 miles (6km) away, and he volunteered to drive us there. He also asked the restaurant staff to ring him when we had finished eating so that he could drive us back. I offered to reimburse him for the trips, but he refused.
Cons: The pillows were too soft and there was only one per person. The place was difficult to find until we used Google maps.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We got a last minute booking due to missed flights. Gianluca and pepita were very friendly and drove us to the nearest restaurant when stuck for dinner. They have a lovely dog called ECCO! Thanks again and would recommend this gite to anyway looking for a quiet getaway in the country side with easy access to the airport.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: What a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, friendly welcoming staff, lovely view of the mountains. The bed was extremely comfy with lovely bedding. A lot of attention to detail.... would highly recommend.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Fast WiFi. No issues with late check-in. Fresh bread for breakfast and good selection of tea (but that's all good about breakfast). Comfortable bed, though sleep was ruined because of industrial noise.
Cons: Room window is facing towards the roof of the kitchen with external compressor/pump which is making terrible noise. If for some tecnical reason this unit could not be relocated it should be covered with some noise-protecting cowling. Bathroom is clean, but equipment is outdated. Breakfast is poor. Surprisingly no cheese (in France!)
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Very good value, left to early to have breakfast so cant comment on this
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent restaurant and wonderful way the hotel had been spuced to build around the old structure
Good 7.5
Pros: Pretty rural place, in a very beautiful area. Not expensive, ample (free) parking. Big bed.
Cons: No WiFi in the room. Bit of a funky, rustic old smell to the place as well.

Pros: The personnel was kind and available. We asked a quiet room not facing the road and we got a room under the roof with air conditioning. We enjoyed the restaurant, which was cozy, and had the possibility to dine inside or outside.
Cons: Unfortunately, there was no elevator and for us was too close to a main road. Of course this could be an advantage if one travels for business.
Good 6.3
Pros: The staff were pleasant and helpful and the situation is very convenient for a stop on our journey.
Cons: - There was a pervasive “drains” smell in our room and in the restaurant area. - after only a few drinks they ran out of beer - a limited choice on the menu and very average quality. They need to do better
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great place to stay on the way south. dinner and Breakfast excellent. We had an early start and the owner had Breakfast ready on time.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Views Price
Cons: Noise from the road Noise in corridor. Smell of drains near the restaurant Breakfast limited
Okay 5.4
Pros: Diner and breakfast were good
Cons: The bed was too soft and the pillows too hard. No aircon in summer the night was quite hot.

Pros: The hotel was good but in the wrong place for us.

Pros: Just right really
Cons: Some local information pack and WiFi code and instructions on how shower cooker and things work. But not having this in side did not spoil anything but would have been nice
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Reasonably warm welcome, although because we had been in the mountains and not responded to an earlier email sent by the host regarding our stay, there was a little disruption at the start. I think the host likes to double confirm arrival, even when you have a confirmed booking and have paid the deposit request on booking. Great little village, with a nice selection of amenities.
Cons: I dislike writing poor reviews; however, we were very disappointed with this accommodation. Firstly, the accommodation is not really a chalet more like a simple wooden structure in the garden. The accommodation itself would have been fine for the evening; however, the equipment (for a small family) was seriously lacking. Broken, cracked and chipped crockery and chairs. Limited pots and pans, etc., meant we had to disturb the host on several occasions in order to be able to cook a reasonably easy meal. The mezzanine floor consisted of three single mattresses on the floor. The master bed was comfy enough, but the two small cushions instead of pillows is poor, especially given the cost of the accommodation. Before we could eat a meal, we had to reorganise the living/dining/sleeping space to accommodate the fold out table and chairs; again, the chairs were a little unstable given the state of repair. Moving heavy wooden stairs out of the way in order to have dinner was quite frustrating, especially given the serious lack of space available. Lastly, the accommodation has no facilities for card payment, although no prior notice was given. In order to pay our bill, we had to complete a funds transfer which carried additional charges. Alas, we are unlikely to visit again.
Good 7.1
Pros: Great facilities for the kids with a lovely pool, trampoline, table tennis, volleyball etc. Quiet neighbourhood.
Cons: Difficult kitchen to cook in, no extras provided (salt, pepper, olive oil etc). Sofa bed in living room not ideal but the bedroom was quite comfortable.

Pros: The restaurant at the hotel is exceptional and already worth a visit. Everything was perfectly made with ultimate care and inspiration.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very good quality/price, friendly staff, quiet area and nice room. Everything is there for a nice stay.
Cons: Maybe some renovation works would be a big plus.
Good 7.9
Pros: Staff friendly. Easy check in and out. Good location. Restaurant was excellent
Good 7.9
Pros: The manager was so helpful. We were stranded in the snow and he left us a key at the front desk with a note ready for us when we eventually arrived at 1 am.
Good 6.7
Pros: The helpful welcome and the location was ideal for easy access to Grenoble Airport. The cost was reasonable for this type of hotel. It has a gastronomic restaurant but we chose not to eat there because we did not want a very rich meal and went elsewhere for something more simple.
Cons: The Hotel rooms and bathroom were fairly basic but it served the purpose we wanted for a one night stay while traveling.
Good 6.3
Pros: Excellent, perhaps exceptional dinner in their restaurant
Cons: The fittings and decor are all aging
Good 6.3
Pros: Fantastic food but very expensive
Cons: Cockroach in bedroom 2 nd floor room no lift and narrow staircase Decor tired and room small Church bells very close and all night
Okay 4.6
Pros: Reception modern and clean, location central, parking easy, and restaurant also refurbished. All staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Room 16 (single) mired in the 1970s. Very old, tired and in need of the kind of modernisation evident in reception and the restaurant. Pink bathroom suite, and towels the size of a postage stamp.Detracted from stay - quite grim.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Outstanding dinners by a gourmet chef.
Okay 4.2
Cons: WiFi was terrible. Requires re-login every 5 minutes. Impossible to use. Room was cold. Towels were old and stiff and too small.
