The staff was very kind and helpful.
Luigi at the front desk was very corteous and strives to please guests. Rooms are ok but near of needing renewal (carpet, furniture, bath tile, etc.). Breakfast very limited.
very central, it allowed us to go around umbria easily!
Location and cost. Breakfast was very good. A little bit noisy but in all it was a very nice experience.
Very friendly staff, large comfortable room and good breakfats
Helpfull staff Air conditioning inadequate
Very modern decor with luxurious bathroom. The bed and pillow was very comfortable. Rooms were quiet and well sound proof with good air conditioning system through out. The complimentary minibar was a real treat and delight. I've been to a lot of hotels in Europe, and this is one of the best stays - in terms of value for money and comfort. Breakfast was a little simple. Could do with a bit more hot food.
Small room, tiny uncomfortable bed for 2 people (comparing with plenty other hotels visited), one pair of slippers in double room, rude guy at the reception
The well trained professional staff made the stay effortless. Many thanks.
comfortable, very clean, pleasant.
Beautiful modern design. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable.Nice breakfast. A few minutes walk from the center of Foligno. When the window is openthere is noise from the street.
Family runned hotel in the middle of Foligno. Foligno has a beautifully city centre which is partly still under restoration. Some great shops and excellent restaurants on walking distance. Very friendly and wellcoming staff. Spotless room, very large bathroom. The pictures of the rooms being offered at this site do not match reality. No bubble bath in our room. Poor breakfast.
Very helpful reception, comfortable room, bed and bathroom , very good breakfast in interesting building and right in centre of town.
The best hotel we've stayed at in many trips to Italy! This family-run hotel exceeds its 3 star status. Familymanagement and staff were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless, well furnished with all the facilities we expect of a 4 star hotel. The hotel restaurant offered good local cuisinebeautifully presented and served with great care. Can't wait to return - sooner rather than later!
Comfortable, good value, excellent restaurant would like to have wi-fi access
Hotel cleanliness and nice staff. no floor carpets in room, therefore was uncomfortable to walk bare foot and no coffee/tea maker available.
very good location, centre
The staff was very nice, warm people. The room was very comfortable and pretty and I liked that family atmosphere... The towels were clean, but with a funny smell...
The location was excelllent with a very peaceful and relaxed athmosphere. We enjoyed the swimming pool and we could even have a light lunch served there. The staff is very knowledgeable about any place you may want to visit in the surrondings. There is free internet connection. Bevagna is only 10 minutes away from the hotel. This is excellent for having dinner without having to go too far from the hotel. We were very pleased with room 20 which we had requested at the time of the reservation.
A most helpful and very friendly staff. insect bites at pool side.
Casa Mancia was an excellent small hotel. Modern interiors in a well restored traditional building - all carried out to a high standard. Good facilities, good food and helpful staff. I would recommend Casa Mancia.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.
Casa Mancia is very stylish, yet very cosy. Everything is there, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast with top quality coffee. It's great to have very low-cost WiFi internet in the whole building and in the front too. There is a laundry across the street and this is a great centerpoint to towns and villages around to explore and dine in.
Everything looked clean and well maintained. Very nice room. Although very beautiful it seemed a little soul-less.
Location could not be bettter once you find it! Up the road and across from a big blue P (Parking sign). The hotel needs a bigger sign. Spello is now my favorite town, Roman Arch's (4) and medevial streets, you just walk around in awe. Our best meal was at Il Bruschetta.
Excellent reception beautiful public areas. Only spent one night but would definately return again.
A charming old Palazzo in a lovely and peaceful location. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully furnished reading rooms. Confortable good standard rooms. Parking facilities in the old city centre near the hotel. Humidity marks in bathroom
Location in heart of city. can walk to most anything, including restaurants. No problem with auto parking or easy access to parking area, or entering/exiting town. ti office only steps away.Very good desk operation; friendly, efficient, and want to please. Breakfast buffet was very good. Been to Europe 30 times or more. Would highly recommend this facility..
Courteous and friendly staff, we felt very looked after, super-efficient cleaning, great location and the attached restaurant was to quality. Peaceful secluded courtyard.
Excellant location, parking facilities, brilliant staff... everything really, Loved the holiday N/A
I liked the fact that while we were out for dinner in the evening the towels had been changed and there were a couple of chocolates on the bed! Nice attention to detail. We loved the view from our top floor room. Best was the frescoed lounge. The furniture in the room was a bit dull considering the age of the building. A few antique pieces would have been more in keeping with the character of the rest of the hotel. This is only a minor point. The overall impression was great.
location and room and staff
The staff were excellent. The location was perfect to explore Spello and surrounding Umbria. Parking Was provided next to the hotel, which is a real bonus. It was perfectly clean and appointed, but a bit shabby for a 4 star...
The place of the hotel is quite pleasant notwithstanding some details of an industrial landscape around. The design is rather stylish, a nice combination of rustic and modern styles. Overall nice impression and a good rest. The kitchen in the restaurant is simple but fine. stayed only one day visiting Assisi. To my opinion the territory is rather big and it would be nice to animate it somehow, otherwise the place looks deserted. The personnel behaves a little bit arrogant and seems to be enjoying the place of their job, not catering to guests. And their uniform looks three stars and business hotel which does not correspond to the implied atmosphere of the place... Generally the hotel is just new and it might take time to orchestrate the work of everything. Would be nice to provide a shuttle bus service once a day (go and back ) at least to St. Maria Novella from where it is easier to get a connection to Assisi case there are some travellers who wish to go around and they are without a car.
the hotel is brand new resort facility with nice, spacious room and breakfast is outstanding with fresh squeezed orange juice and exquisite espresso machine. even though it was high season, it was good deal for the money
large swimming pool and very quiet at most places, very kind reception Not yeady ready. Working people. No drinks available near the swimming pool (1.2 km) and to drink something was not very exciting in the hotel.
The location was stunning and so peaceful. We had a beautiful villa, not a single room, in amongst the vinyard with views of the hills and Assisi. It was wonderfully bucolic yet so convenient for touring Umbria. The resort manager was excellent - friendly, professional and generous. However, some of his stylish and rather gorgeous reception staff (initially at least) appeared aloof/unfriendly/unhelpful. Check in was a terse, "cold" and un-Italian affair. Our encounters "warmed" somewhat over the 8 days we were there but we never felt like "valued customers". This was not the case in the Restaurant or elsewhere around the resort - where staff blended professionalism with warmth and hospitality - where we flet welcome.
Simple and clean hotel at convenient location for touring the countryside. Nothing fancy, but very inexpensive and a good value. If you want to save money but don't want to sacrifice cleanliness, its good to keep in mind. I had no problems with using the WIFI in my room and at breakfast. They also provided a decent simple breakfast. There was road noise and an alarm outside that woke me early in the morning. There was also a loud group that made lots of noise until late at night. The hotel was fine in itself, but because of all the noise I had a terrible night's sleep. I would consider it comparable to a nice highway roadside hotel in the US with a good breakfast.
Lovely rooms; staff was indifferent; breakfast good No newspaper in English; staff was not very helpful;
It locates in the country side (very quiet place), and also not too far to the town(Santa Maria degli Angeli) and high way. Frendly stuff. Room and bath room are very clean and confortable. Nothing
Great place for rest and enjoying the nature, ideal starting point for exploring not only Assisi but other Umbrian towns (Perugia, Terni, Gubbio, Lago Trasimeno… could be reached in half an hour or at most in an hour by car). It’s really beautiful resort, with nice hotel and stylish cottages. Nice swimming pool, but without stairs to go in/out – very inconvenient. The hotel is not easy to find. There were no signs directing you to the hotel if you coming from St. Maria degli Angeli.
The reception staff very helpful, clean, beautiful setting, views of assisi etc They said restaurant was fully booked so we had to dine in the breakfast room, the hotel was described as a resort hotel and yet there hardly seemed to be anyone in the hotel at all, we only saw about 8 other people the whole time, and the things offered in brochure all seemed to be shut.
Excellent coutnry location outside of the town of Assisi but with a beautiful view of Assisi. Well furnished new resort hotel with good facilities.
very good breakfast and use of internet, open space in main area to meet business appointments. the restaurant was closed all nights I was there, and after asking how close the nearest restaurant was I was told only 2kl towards town 6kl later we found a restaurant. the shower leaked water under the tiles making bathroom floor wet
Pleasant and attentive staff - Clean Lacking in warm breakfast food
Just about everything. In particular the dining was fabulous, and the small deck on the room looking across the valley superb!
The privacy of the little patio area ouside the room.
Location and room. As a resident guest extremely surprized to be denied dinner. Also wanted early breakfast at 7.30 am but was denied entry until later because of Japanese group taking the place over. Given no help in finding dinner although it proved easy. Flush on toilet/cistern faulty.
The hotel itself is lovely and has a great view. The rooms were very disappointing and did not match the price - nor the 4 star rating. Shower was bad. The decor in our room looked like something from a horror movie. Lots of tour groups in and out so be prepared to be awakened around 6:00 am every morning. Also, if you want any breakfast you better make sure you beat the tour groups to the dining room. If you don't - no great loss.
Be carefull to book an apartment, it is not in or close to the hotel !!! it's outside spello and located between the motorway and an other heavily used street! (to be fair: the apartment house itself is very nice)
Lovely location, wonderful terrace for outside dining in summer
An excellent location with comfortable bedroom. Staff were helpful and friendly. The swimming pool needed a clean, and the outside areas could benefit from some attention, eg broken sunbeds etc. The view from our room was not quite as described - we looked out onto a plain brick terrace.
Location is excellent in town of Spello in Italian Countryside. It is a small hilltop town and very interesting. The main reason for our visit was to have dinner at the Michelin Restaurant that evening but when we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed that night and we only have the option of the Bistro which was still OK. If you specifically want to dine at the restaurant check that it will be open during your stay. Michelin Restaurant that we booked online thru your website, which was the main reason for our visit, was not open on the day we were there. You should check which days it is open and have that info on your website.
Food was amazing. Country hotel in delightful hill side town with wonderful views. Staff very friendly and helpful.
