Love this hotel. This was my 5th time to stay here
Perfect location. Right on the beach. Restaurants within walking distance. Also, close to Lauderdale by the Sea with more shopping and restaurants close to beach.
Oceanfront. Nice pool area. Restaurant and store inside of lobby. Bar
Asked for towels several times, without any results. Balcony on the second floor was littered with cigarette butts and beer bottles from floors above.
Access to the beach was good, free wifi worked well.
Overall property condition was poor. If you're used to staying in a major chain hotel (Marriott/Hilton) this will be a big change. Very outdated rooms that need a remodel. Everything functioned properly, but I would only consider for a very cheap rate if you want a place close to the beach.
Great location on the beach. Lunch in restaurant great
Rooms dated. And overpriced for a motel type room Lobby beautiful. Too bad rooms contradict Restaurant.... Lunch great....dinner not good quality and overpriced. No complimentary coffee in lobby.. even though water in rooms was yellow. Had to go off site to get coffee.. would not recommend to others. Sadly
That was next to the beach only
Horrible by not having all elevators working right.mostly all the time had to get the stairs and it seemed to not care
I liked the location. Having the pool right by the beach was really great. The beach is great also.
Be prepared to wait a long time for ONE elevator. I was on the third floor and had a stroller. There was never room to get on. I waited 15 minutes and finally made staff get off to let me go down. Also I suggest not going around spring break time. The beaches and hotel are packed with drunk college students.
Rude night clerk that greeted us. Old food in the vending machine that only take chaneed or dollars no larger bill changers anywhere. If not for the night clerk they would have gotten 5 stars from me everyone else was extremely friendly.
Good or not so good
Good: on the beach location Not so good: daily parking fee
Not impressed with the overall condition.
Made us want to stay
We really liked the atmosphere and the staff. Everyone was helpful and fun to talk too. The beach view is great! The Tiki bar was fun and efficient!
Beach front location, relatively quiet . Bed was comfortable and seemed clean. , .
- Room was very dark, old beaten up furniture, - very small sink area and bathroom, - air conditioner was not possible to shut off or adjust, it was unnecessary noisy and cold in the room. - terrible pillows, used my own travel pillow - Kind of very gloomy depressing room. - very cold inside lobby and restaurant. weather was rainy but staying inside was even worse
View was fantastic. Front desk was excellent in getting our rooms near each other. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
Guess the only thing I didn't like was paying $18 per day for parking whether you parked it yourself or used valet.
