Good Room, excellent breakfast, good pool for relaxing and a little smaller for swim but it is possible in that. the internet is not very fast, but maybe it is the same problem in all china.
Nothing.. Beds were hard like rock, checked out early.. hotel management agreed to refund but money still not back yet as Kayak vendor getaroom is still thinking over it!!!
service and cleanliness
I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my stay
The location. How in the world is the cost to do laundry more than the room itself? 50 yuan to wash a T shirt? I can go buy 3 for less than that, and i did exactly that.
all charging for the business center computer!!!!
the renovated rooms are beautiful the mattress is too stiff
the location is good and close with metro station, various restaurants the price is huge for the confort.Last year we have booked this hotel with 90 usd/night in the same period and that is all he deserves as price. The hotel is old,the furniture, towels, everything is old.The breakfast is poor and very expensive.
My flight was delay significantly, I arrived at the hotel 3am the next day. The staff in front desk is very helpful, he not only put me in a non-smoking room as request, also upgraded me to a suite.
Location and breakfast Wifi connection was too slow. The non smoking room had a strong smoke odor.
Great view from the dining area and pool area. Internet access in the rooms was also fantastic to have considering that I was in China on business. The pool bar could have been open at times for refreshments
Location, staff friendliness 1. Complimentary fruits was only for first day.
Location, price level Not 5 star service; no shuttle to airport.
I actually I liked nothing during my stay at Dong Fang Hotel. the staff were not friendly at all. the room was given to us at the end line of block No. 2 and it is very far from the hotel reception and the swimming pool. the carpet of the hotel is very old with bad smell. I requested them to move to the other block which is new but they refused. It seems that the staff of the hotel don't like ARAB people and the staff intended to give ARAB people bad and far rooms. I don't suggest the hotel at all. convenient location since i was visiting someone that lives at the marriott apartments next door. The pool was nice as well and open late. bed was not very comfortable too hard for my preference
Staff speak english & quick houskeeping service Smell of the coredors and rooms + guests who were smoking were opening thei rooms doors & we were annoyed the smoke and the smell. rooms were not clean enough like 5 star hotels
Good location just above metro station with two lines, good chinese cousine on 8th floor, garden and pool. Definitely good times for this hotel passed away. Need general refurbishing, corridors are smelly, disgusting bathroom, carpets are with huge spots, it's worth only *** european standard. totally overpriced!!!!! Staff didn't want to help me making a chinese call to clarify the matter with missing train ticket.
The services were very nice the view of the swimming pool with gardan is very nice too . ....the beds are very comfortable .... I paid 5 rmb for each fax I received ... why ? ....this charge are not fair
The facilities were nice but I was there on National Day so some of the things like the hair salon/spa was closed. Most of the staff spoke some English. The distance from the airport is at least 40 min away
breakfast being served outdoors in the central garden, the shuttle bus service to the trade fair the main restaurant not letting us in after 9 pm,the hotel booking in clients and giving them room keys prior to us even checking out from our rooms, the next lot of guests are sitting in the corridors in front of the rooms waiting for us to leave, this was at 12:30
Central location but quiet, luxurious, lately renovated. I enjoyed my breakfast at the wonderful garden by the swimming pool. The personnel speaks English fluently. I strongly recommend it. I would prefer the bed mattress a little softer.
Staff were very helpful. Executive suite was large.
The room was spacious, the bathroom was equipped well, very nice bar with places outside in the beautiful garden. The breakfast was not diverse, windows in the room were locked therefore it was a lack of fresh air.
Location The wait, Rush to get you in and out Impersonal
Top quality facilities that are very useful before a morning flight. Lobby is not at the same level as the airport's entrance and there is a limited sign/staff to show where the registration desk is. As a transit hotel which has a majority of the guest going to/from the airport, it would be nice to have a small reception counter at the entrance facing the airport .
Great location at this hotel, but I arrived very late one night in December and my room was boiling hot, I asked for another room and was refused, no AC, they sent a fan. The room had no ventilation so it stayed hot all night.
The comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
Close to the airport, clean and quiet, good restaurant internet charge
Bed and bath very comfortable. Immediate access to airport. Excellent staff. Meals in restaurant quite expensive and taste was mediocre.
Excellent room Staff lacks English language. They need to work hard on this matter.
If you have to do business, and just want a nice good, clean international hotel, then go to Pullman. You are few steps from the airport and everything is functional. The breakfast is good, and in the resteaurant they offer a good buffet incl. a glass of wine/soda for only 188 Rmb. I will go there again next time i have to do business in the area, and save a lot of transportation time to the city
Position and convenience Non
Buffet is good. 1. Service is not good, no matter in the restaurant or counter. 2. Bathtub is dirty. 3. Lock and tap are damaged.
Location, cleaness of the room.
there is small shopping area so you can find what you need like supermarket ,starbucks, beakry ATM ,macdunalds. Long time for cheack in and cheak out and the resaption very busy .and abit pricy
The buffet is excellent (second floor), very big hotel with a lot of shops, free internet, pool and gymn included. The room was a little bit small for a marriot
The Hotel was 5 star and staff were trained well. Food was excellent and Prime steakhouse was very good. All facilities were 5 star and this is rare in many parts of China. The shopping precinct attached to the Hotel was also very 5 star and perhaps some cheaper shopping options nearby would be benificial.
The way the staff attended to any querry, was good. They attend everyone well, I liked that. They should take any telephone call very seriously.
Comfort, food, shops and the staff. So much that i want to visit again. When in the bar(s) relaxing there are too many women wanting you to buy them drinks and offering you room services.
As an alleged five-star hotel, The bed linens and ropes are OK for comfort. The size of the room is also decent. They have BBC, French channels. The breakfast is poor: small restaurant, lack of choices, too many people and the quality of food is far from anything five-star. I came back to my table with food only to find all other 3 chairs I wasn't using intact but the one I was sitting on just somehow vanished, gone. And the fork and knife and plates were still resting on the table. Haunting! I looked around and saw probably my chair being seated by a mid-age women in the alley, who was enjoying her food and chatting with her friends. The room was a smoking one. Hate smoky air. The View: window opens to the roofs of shabby building and the cramped city skyline in polluted smog. The design of the room is rather strange. The cleanliness could have been much improved on the carpet, the surface of the sofa, etc. to live up with the five star rating. The cheap pack of for-sale toiletries, bottled water of a new local brand, and box of Chinese tea should be removed to upgrade the taste. The TV is small, not high resolution, and cannot adjust in any direction, not to mention using your USB for your own movie. The tea bag and nestle instant coffee reminds me of a basic 3-star facility. Guests had better go through the full price list of every single item in the room, from bed head board to tea spoon. The completeness of the items you can or cannot see really frightens you to death of damaging the cheap setting. The location: the hotel hides itself in a crowded and dirty residential complex. Reaching there at night is a challenge of GPS. The check-in staff was a cold poker face. He set me aside waiting and dealt with some other guest behind me while being unclear of my booking, no explanation nor guilty feeling. Actually, on the twentieth something Floor, it shows it belongs to some service apartment company. Where am I? A real five star hotel or an average service apartment I find easily find at half the price on the Internet?
