Clive and Thelma would like to welcome you to Alice Street Farm. If you are looking for a "get away from it all" break then this is the ideal place to do it! Our Shepherds Hut is tucked away in a quiet corner on our farm and is situated between a small river and a 4 acre wood which has been left to nature, with views across open fields. Imagine sitting on the veranda and listening to the sound of nature all around you, hear the birds singing, the call of the buzzards circling overhead and you may be lucky enough to catch sight of deer as they come down to graze in the fields. You are also likely to hear the hoot of owls at night. The call of the cuckoo heralds the start of spring and the woods are abundant with bluebells and other spring flowers. In the main shepherds hut you will find a comfortable 4' double bed with a cosy duvet and underbed storage. Table and chairs. Log burning stove (wood is provided free of charge). Camping gas stove. 12v coolbox. Cooking utensils/pans, crockery and cutlery are all provided. TV. Games chest. Outside there is a veranda that connects to the second hut (gypsy wagon) where you will find a modern shower, toilet and basin. There is also a small sink for washing up. Hot and cold running water. Electricity is supplied via a 12v supply generated by a solar panel and mini windmill. Charging sockets are supplied for charging mobile phones and laptops.
