10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is simply the best. Well-appointed, very clean and comfortable, stylish. Glad to have aircon in the bedroom and complimentary water bottles. Herve was a welcoming host, settling us in when we arrived on a very hot day with sorbet and home-made citronnade, and booking us a table at a local restaurant. His own rum was offered in the salon, which is a wonderful place to relax with a huge tv (we were glad not to have tv in the bedroom). There is a pool table and lots of information for guests. Swimming pool with sunloungers and a view of the surrounding vineyards and countryside. Dedicated parking. Peaceful whilst also convenient for local villages. Oh and the breakfast! Such attention to detail. All delicious. Home-made yoghurt, cakes and savoury clafoutis. Fresh juice. Good coffee.
Cons: Wish we had booked for a longer stay! But we will go back.

Pros: Everything was just great! Such a kind and committed hosting couple in Nathalie and Bruno. They have made an amazing job renovating this property to perfection with close proximity to cosy villages in the wine district. If you on top of that enjoy wine, you’re in heaven since Cote de Rhones, Gigondas, Châteauneuf-du-pape and Muscat wines are all produced In near surroundings (5-15 min). Great pool and garden, everything so neat. Very welcoming for children as well. And last but not least, great breakfast each morning made by Nathalie with great care and touch (scrambled eggs, crepes, home made jellys etc.).

Pros: Nathalie and Bruno are gracious hosts. Breakfast was lovely, setting beautiful, lovely home and pool. Staying at Le Bergerie de Nano made our first trip to Provence very special.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I honestly thought the reviews were too good to be true but everything about this accommodation was absolutely perfect. The setting is truly wonderful with the mountains in the distance, we will miss the view from our room each morning. The hosts Natalie and Bruno are lovely people, very attentive but non invasive. Natalie was very friendly and took time to tell us about French cuisine and culture, even booking restaurants for us. The property itself is so beautiful, the decor, the design and the warmth really make you feel at home. The gardens and pool area are real gems - the swimming pool is fantastic being fed by the fresh ground water. The room we stayed in could challenge the top hotels in the world - beautifully laid out, modern, yet very authentically French. Breakfast was to die for. Artisan breads, home made jams, patisserie options, fruit and cooked breakfast was always offered too. Thanks Natalie and Bruno. We will be back one day and promise to have learned French!
Cons: Faultless.

Cons: Our room had no carpet. I know it may be due to the fact we stayed with our dog, but I don’t know any dog who eats carpets. The breakfast lacked good bread. We had good bread for dinner, I don’t know why they did not serve the same type for breakfast too. Sometimes it came steaming hot and in a hot season the hot bread is not healthy. Also no option of soy or non-dairy milk.

Pros: Cornelia was an excellent hostess, even texting us before our arrival with specific directions. She was a mine of information re local restaurants, points of interest etc., even loaning us a map of the area. The accommodation itself was first class - a lovely, air-conditioned room, en-suite with walk-in, waterfall shower and our own patio area. The pool, although not large, was great for cooling off. The village centre was less than ten minutes walk away and the local bistro very welcoming (try the estafade!), but if you wish to self-cater then the kitchen has a fridge and cooking facilities. I'm sure we shall return.
Cons: I have no adverse comments.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our favourite stay in France. Lafare is a stunning part of Provence and close to amazing wineries and scenery. The mountain backdrop of the crystal clear pool was perfect. The room was large with an amazing bathroom that exceeded the pictures and perfect WiFi! However the best part was the host Cornelia who was always incredibly helpful and fun including driving with us to a mechanic to help fix our car and save our road trip... If we could give the place 11 we would

Pros: Cornelia, the host, is a lovely person. Cornelia is very attentive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable of this beautiful part of Provence. The area is absolutely wonderful with stunning scenery and lovely walks so would highly recommend a stay at Mas De La Baume. We had a meal cooked by Cornelia which was very tasty accompanied by local wines, delicious! We stayed for 6 nights and would love to have stayed longer! If we are ever in this part of France again we would definitely stay at Mas De La Baume. Thank you Cornelia.

Pros: Excellent froir gras. Very tastefully and nicely arranged food. Good combination.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The perfect Provencal getaway without the crowds. Easy access from Avignon, beautiful location. Love the Estate wine and the restaurant, we treated ourselves to two dinners, both were wonderful. The pool was just the icing on the cake, in this hot weather.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant meals were excellent; can imagine how beautiful it would be in mid summer on the terrace; we were there in autumn. Help from owner and staff was excellent; booked us in for dinner one night L'Oustalet in Gigondas : first class
Cons: I booked in Annex; which in retrospect would be better in summer; next time would stay in main building
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location just outside of Gigondas. Ample parking and the restaurant is great. Staff is very nice! The setting is also beautiful. If you stay make sure you eat at the restaurant and sit outside if the weather allows.
Cons: We stayed in an annex room, which I wouldn't recommend. They are poorly lit and not well ventilated. No refrigerators in the rooms either. They have good access to the pool, but I did not like the room. I believe the rooms in the main building are nicer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location really friendly welcoming staff. Food is absolutely amazing as is the wine selection.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The perfect hotel in almost every way possible. To start with, the setting could not be more beautiful. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff is friendly and happy to help, the pool and outdoor lounge area are highly relaxing, and the food is sensational! We've stayed here two summers in a row, and we're planning on making it three (then four...then five...)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful facility in idyllic location. Gracious, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing food and service in the restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room over looked the gorgeous terrace, was compy & had a large bathroom with soaking tub. Windows open up to terrace but we never noticed noise from restaurant or incoming guest. There was a roof terrace nearby that was a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine. There is a pool, unheated, that sits on the hill above the hotel that offers a nice retreat when it’s hot outside. It was very warm while we were there & having no air conditioner made it necessary to sleep with the windows open and fan blowing on our bed - but we didn’t notice any bugs. The breakfast is delicious and eating out on the incredibly beautiful terrace made it worth every euro. The dinner was fantastic - great 3 course meal with little surprises along the way. We felt very welcome, although some problems communicating with non-English speaking staff. WiFi worked well in room & the service was exceptional all around.
Cons: I loved it all
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We were in an annexe and had a very comfortable stay. The room was extremely spacious and had a great patio. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and the manager was extremely accommodating of my request for a vegetarian meal. It was by far the best meal of our week long trip through Provence.

Pros: Great atmosohere with sublime standard of quality (room, beds & bedding, breakfast and surroundings in the midst of the vinyards). Chris and Monique are the best hosts you can wish for. You will love your stay!
Cons: Leaving!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is absolutely beautiful, it is perfect in every way and is like something out of a storybook. There has been so much consideration put into its renovation and design. The shared kitchen is brilliant and means that you can cook or enjoy the produce you have bought at the markets. We even admired the garden lighting as we sat out one evening, which is so beautifully done and means that you can use the area after dark. Breakfast is wonderful with homemade and seasonal elements everyday. It is also centrally situated within Provence for exploring, and there is so much to see! But most of all Monique and Chris are so lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. We were made to feel so welcome from the outset! We had such a lovely stay and we love Provence with its aromas of lavender, honey, apricots and herbs. We can see why people return year on year and we hope to do so as well. Thank you so much!
Cons: That we had to leave!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! From the first moment I met Monique to the last moment when I had to say goodbye to Chris and Monique who were both so warm, hospitable, and engaging. The accommodation was very comfortable with lovely decor and my stay included a delicious breakfast each morning. It was a real treat! Thank you so much again, Monique snd Chris! I’ll need to find another excuse to come and stay next year!
Cons: Nothing, it was fabulous!

Pros: The perfect Provencal getaway without the crowds. Easy access from Avignon, beautiful location. Love the Estate wine and the restaurant, we treated ourselves to two dinners, both were wonderful. The pool was just the icing on the cake, in this hot weather.

Pros: We were in an annexe and had a very comfortable stay. The room was extremely spacious and had a great patio. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and the manager was extremely accommodating of my request for a vegetarian meal. It was by far the best meal of our week long trip through Provence.
