Pros: the owner very very kind & helpful, breakfast were really good & the chateau was beautifully furnished.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had high expectation after reading reviews and looking at pictures but we have to admit that Le Bastion EXCEEDED all of them. Olivier and his wife are the best hosts! Our trip would't have been as interesting if it wasn't for their knowledge about the area and their recommendations. We had the Deluxe room and couldn't had been happier; the view, the privacy and the room itself were fantastic! We didn't try the pool but the spa was lovely. Thank you for a lovely couple days.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything !
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were absolutely blown away by Le Bastion des Papes! The location and facilities were beautiful and beyond anything we could have imagined. Our host Olivier went above and beyond to make our stay magnificent. His breakfast every morning was incredible, and always included a fresh baked pastry. He helped us with restaurant reservations and some last minute travel changes. Every morning, he would pull out a map and show us the can't miss places to visit in the region. We could not have asked for anything more from our stay. Would highly recommend! You don't want to miss out on this experience!
Cons: We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! We only wish our travel plans had allowed for more time in this area.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A fabulous B&B in a good location close to the village with stunning views across the vineyards. Olivier is extremely friendly and helpful and gave us many tips and ideas of where to visit in the surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice - fruit salad, fruit juice, tea or coffee, water, fresh muffins or croissants and fresh breads with meats, cheeses and a variety of Jams. The room was a great size with a large comfortable bed, separate wc and a bath with shower in the bedroom. Stunning views from a picture window across the vineyards. A small terrace directly outside with table and chairs as well as sun beds. The Pool is spotlessly clean and the area around it very comfortable with lots of sun beds. A Hot Tub is also available. Olivier also gave us good ideas of where to eat locally as well. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Cons: All Great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This B&B is laid on top of a hillside with splendid views on the Mont Ventoux, right next to lovely fields of wine ranks. You can just relax at the pool or on one of the terraces. Its location is ideal to visit Avignon, Arles, Orange or one of the picturesque neighboring small villages, and host Olivier will gladly provide you with practical or general information you might need. This was our second stay, and we will surely be back.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our hosts, Olivier and Estelle, were amazing! Olivier made delicious breakfasts, was always so helpful and accommodating, very warm and thoughtful. They made our stay absolutely unforgettable. The home and grounds are beautifully maintained, with an amazing pool area with lots of room to relax in one of the loungers, plenty of parking space, and a quiet and comfortable private room with its own deck and fantastic views! The location is ideal for exploring the many local towns, markets, restaurants, wineries, and then heading back to your own oasis at the end of the day.
Cons: It was summer in Provence so be prepared for the sounds of the cicadas. We loved it, but it can be quite loud so you may want to bring earplugs for sitting outside and relaxing or reading on the deck during the day. Very quiet in our room and at night.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Olivier is a great host and is willing to provide recommendations of where to visit and eat in the local area. A lovely breakfast is also provided every morning. The property is very clean and beautifully restored and decorated with views of Mont Ventoux and the surrounding area. Great location for exploring Avignon and the Luberon.
Cons: The weather was very hot and there was no air conditioning. Fans however are provided and we had no trouble sleeping.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The pool was amazing and the property had the most amazing views! Breakfast was delicious and the welcome from Olivier and his wife was so warm and friendly! The room was clean as was the rest of the property!

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Nice semi-detached room with beautiful terrace (if only we had time to use it) and secure offstreet parking. Hosts were really lovely and as we have not mastered French we managed communcation through google translate fairly effectively. Breakfast for 7.50pp was great value with wonderful home baking, thanks Berne for staying up late to make those cakes! The recommendation for dinner was great too.
Cons: Its a little out of the town centre so a car is necessary.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Lovely area, super hosts who did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast includes delicious home-made cakes and jams. I don't think the hosts speak much English, so if you don't speak French, have your phrasebook handy :) but don't be put off! Everything you could need is supplied, such as a fridge and even some caramels in a jar.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very nice owner, clean, and country home atmosphere
Excellent 8.8
Pros: green style
Cons: the glass toilet door can be cracked easily washing hands is difficult. Host can try to do it :) Conditioner is not heating enough at cold days and nights I think should be a little bit cheaper compared to others
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect stay near Avignon. Away from the city hustle in a quiet neighbourhood. Refrigerator and tea/coffee making possible. Big garden to enjoy the balcony breakfast. Big shopping/eating area including Decathlon just 2.5 kms away. Definetly recommend. Very friendly hosts. Spotless clean.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Really perfect, comfortable, calm and "feel like home" place. You can feel your own privacy and have your host very near when you need something. This is really a great place to stay when you are in Avignon.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Berne was most welcoming. She even took us to the supermarket to buy some food and wine. Breakfast was super with homemade cake and jams. excellent stay.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing place in which I felt like in my own little oasis. The property is very cozy, quiet, with a big garden, and makes you feel like home. Bernie was super attentive and was on top of all to make sure I was comfortable and feeling good in my stay. She gave me tips and recommendations of where to go and the logistic in center town. I took the breakfast in place and enjoyed a lot, specially the homemade marmalade! Would totally recommend this place and will go back if I visit Avignon again.
Cons: Bernie speak Only a little English so take that into consideration, not a problem or issue, just be ready to practice your French or use your phone translator. In my case it was not something that avoided our communication.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fresh fruit, bread and croissants plus home made yogurt and cake.Very comfortable bed.
Cons: Larger cups in apartment but when requested was provided.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing location to visit the city of Avignon. The location itself is in a very calm, green and quiet quarter of the city. Yet, shops and stations are within a 2-5 min drive. Beautiful breakfast location in the pool house just made our day! Definitely a recommendation!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It’s a beautiful place to be in the Provence. The hosts are gracious and kind and we felt completely at home being here.
Cons: Nothing like that
Good 7.9
Pros: Parking, cleaning, close to Avignon, owners
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Tranquil location, friendly staff. Breakfast was a highlight.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Nice decor, spacious and comfortable room, amazing bed, just as good as mine back home, and quality plentiful breakfast. Beautiful property, somehow in the city but still isolated and almost rural (?).
Cons: Some of the bathroom supplies (a used soap bar and shampoo/shower cream) were definitely not on par with the price I paid.

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Bedroom was large with SuperKing+ bed (very comfortable too). Bathroom large and clean. We had dinner twice during our 6 night stay. Very good but pricey. Great location for exploring Provence.
Cons: Grounds were very overgrown and walks not really possible. Not much investment in facilities in recent years.
Good 7.5
Pros: Calm and typical Provençal location. Excellent and nice served breakfast.
Cons: Some furniture and installations getting old and pretty used.
Good 7.9
Pros: Breakfast was lovely as was dinner the one night we ate in the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a lot of garden and the pool area looked very nice although we did not make use of it,.
Cons: The 2 caged Doves - Could not see any reason to keep two birds in a small cage although it was clean and they had plenty of water etc and seemed in good condition - just don't like seeing birds in cages. It was very near the main road so never experienced a true sense to peace and quiet. Restaurant was expensive
Excellent 10.0
Pros: stunning location, great helpful staff and got upgraded. Oh yes, the food was amazing.
Cons: all good
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wi-fi
Cons: Service, surroundings, breakfast
Good 6.7
Pros: The hotel is beautiful with excellent grounds. First class restaurant.
Cons: The air-conditioning in our room did not work which made for a very hot night. Staff were informed but took no action.
Good 6.3
Pros: The staffs of hotel are very nice and friendly. Dinner was excellent and especially enjoyed to see wine list which had a lot of reasonable priced bordeaux grand vin of good vintage.
Good 7.7
Pros: The service was excellent, the food was out of this world (congratulations to the chef), overall the staff was very friendly and helped regarding all our requests. Relaxed atmosphere
Cons: No, we were very happy. Clients should be aware that although the rooms are very reasonably priced (semi-luxurious, I would say), the restaurant is very expensive. But it was well worth it. The food was stupendous.
Good 6.3
Pros: We liked this typical atmosphere one gets in French Hotels et Chateaux, unique in the world. We also liked the central situation in the Provence, close to Avignon, very close to the highway.
Cons: no complaints
Good 6.4
Pros: Accomodation is very complete, staff is professional. The ambiance is nice (manor and chapel). Swimming pool relatively big.
Cons: The elevator in the chapel is very slow and the carpet in it has to be cleaned. But this is a minor issue.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: perfect kitchen and stuff, nice pool and atmosphere
Cons: $review.cons
Good 6.8
Pros: Great Service and Food, very rustic and very french
Cons: Air conditioning did not work very well in the room because of poor design
Okay 5.2
Pros: A charming inn rich with history. The grounds are beautiful and one of the best bathrooms we have had in France. A lovely place if money is no object, although we did get three nights for the price of two on the booking.com site.
Cons: The meals were over the top expensive. We were seated in the dining room and the owner came in and told my husband he should be wearing a jacket for dinner. This embarrassing situation could have been avoided if the website had indicated their policy or strong suggestion for dress attire. Because of this, we chose not to eat subsequent meals at the hotel and dined elsewhere.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Standard of hotel A1 100% top notch, as too were the staff. Fantastic location, ditto premises and attention to detail. Totally perfect in every way, could not have been better. We will return.....

Good 7.1
Pros: Clean, cheap enough and a 20 min walk to town centre.
Cons: It’s a bit far out of town and near a main road so you kind of lose the charm of Châteaurenard itself. But this isn’t a surprise as it’s clear what the address is. The price makes up for this.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Clean,confortable
Cons: The breakfast was very poor
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Good position in Chateaurenard, with a dedicated parking inside the hotel. Nice staff. You can find a lot of information about what to do e what to see. It's perfect for spending a night during a road trip.

Pros: A wonderful place! A shame to have not been able to stay longer. Very friendly hosts and they kindly offered an extra early breakfast as we had to leave before the official breakfast time. All food is local or produced from produce on site. A lovely large room with a pretty window view. Very comfortable and clean.
Cons: Nothing to fault, it was all great and I'd like to stay again.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location was great, beautiful little farm town. The 200 yo building is just too gorgeous, and Caroline and staff are just so friendly! Loved their hospitality, organic food & drinks ♡
Cons: Everything was great!!
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: Helpfulness of staff to local attractions
Cons: Property has great potential but neglected and not maintained. Reality not as pictured on website. Room very below standard. Breakfast was bowl of coffee and bread with jam, definitely not what we were expecting and experienced throughout France.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: It will be impossible for me to describe how much and why I loved our stay at Le Mas Vertes Rives so much. Monsieur VR - Vincent, I think - was sooo welcoming and friendly. Despite being busy, both being chef and proprietor, he made it seem like it was his purpose to make us feel comfortable and cater to all our needs and answer all our questions. Our room was beautiful, airy and spacious and opened onto the lovely meadow and terrace in front of the house. We ate our breakfast on that terrace and never have I been presented with so many different jams, made by Vincent's wife - and co-proprietor - from the fruit of the farm. Despite the fact that there were two wedding partied staying there and a christening party, the place was so calm and peaceful yet still had a sense of bustle and life. Like the still point of a turning world. We were attending one of the weddings; I only hope that I can find another opportunity to stay with these lovely people in this lovely place again. Thank-you.
Cons: Can't think!
Good 7.9
Pros: Ferme auberge (stay and local cooking) concept is nice Beautiful farm with local products Welcoming staff
Cons: Attic rooms got very hot on summer nights - there’s a fan but no aircon
Excellent 10.0

Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.3
Pros: They offered an evening meal which was of the best quality and a great price.
Cons: Accommodation is basic but homely.

Pros: Comfortable bed nice room. Quiet inside the hotel despite being next to busy motorway, national road and railway line
Cons: Booked this hotel for the pool and fine dining restaurant however pool was closed despite sunny weather 28degrees. It closes end of August not mentioned on the website. Plus restaurant fell well short of the photos displayed on the website which looked like fine dining with attention to detail. However what we got was very low standard and poor presentation

Pros: The breakfast area and the check in area
Cons: It was a bit isolated
Okay 4.7
Pros: The staff was friendly and gave us directions through the phone.
Cons: Location is close to a commercial center, in the suburb called La Cristole and also close to a motel with the same name. Directions are unclear when coming from the old city. There aren't many places where you can eat, and we were told we could go back to the old city if we wanted to have a good meal.
Okay 4.7
Pros: Free internet and helpful staff
Cons: Too far from tourist attractions in old city, not enough towels, no washcloths, no ice machine

Cons: The location was a bit problematic. One definately required a car.
Good 7.3
Pros: The hotel staff were very helpful, especially Pierre, who recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. The location is outside the wall but it's an easy drive into the old city of Avignon. It was clean, comfortable and affordable and we were very pleased.

Pros: price, very nice staff
Cons: small kettle in the hotel room would be handy
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The room was large enough for 3 persons, located in between Avignon and Gordes attractions. We checked in on Saturday with no staff on site, but everything was smooth and we got the key from the safe near reception. Love the look and feel of the hotel and the environment which recalled my life in university.
Cons: We failed to use the coin washing machine and dryer because both of them took in taken, not cash coins. Owing to the staff have left on Saturday, we finally were not able to wash our clothes. Second, the family room did not come with balcony but all the others did.

Even when I got the towels, the maid took mine away next day and did not replace them, Very annoying especially as we had to sleep with the balcony door shut due to mosquitoes and there was no air conditioning
Okay 5.6
Pros: the perfect place to stay for one night if you want a great rate at a hotel convenient to the airport
Cons: the room smelled like a hospital!
Good 6.0
Pros: Value for money

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great atmosphere
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: excelleny
Cons: nothing
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The staff were excellent and were a great help with menus
Cons: We were promised a room with a single and double bed. None was available. The information said the hotel was 2k from Avignon. This was not the case.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The Front desk were very friendly, Naomi was helpful and answered all my questions with a smile on her face, Antoine had helped me out with an error with my booking prior to our visit. The hotel is easy to find, the sign is visible on the right as you approach it on the N7, direction Avignon. It is situated in a retail park alongside other hotels eg. Campanile, about a 15 minute drive from to Old Town centre. There is ample above ground secure parking and a bus stop immediately outside the Hotel which runs to the old town if you choose not to drive. There is a WiFi area set up next to reception. It has an outside pool but we did not use it. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Front desk gave us car directions to the free park and ride "Des Italiens" just next to the Old Town and we would definitely recommend this as a way to explore. Its about a 15 minute car journey and the bus runs regularly and takes another 15 minutes to the centre. The return pick up bus stop is where you are dropped. Very easy. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive around the retail park to a Carrefour Hypermarket with the best petrol prices in Avignon. We would recommend this budget hotel for a short stay. Checkout was midday which left us time in the morning to visit Avignon.
Cons: We felt the dinner options were overpriced and decided to eat at a local pizzeria about 200metres from the hotel entrance. Its Breakfast too was a little pricey, we ate in the old town. As stated on their website, the hotel does not have a lift and our room was 2nd floor (Ground, 1st, 2nd), the front desk did offer help to take our luggage to our room, but we managed. We would like to have tea and coffee facilities in our room, even though it is a budget hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were very helpful and courteous. They made our stay very pleasant and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ibis Sud to friends and acquaintances. Thank you all so much for looking after us so well!
Good 6.0
Pros: The parking
Cons: - had to wait for someone to come to reception for 5 minutes at our arrival - no lift and had to carry heavy luggage up the stairs - we were told during check in that breakfast was until 11, but the next morning the free breakfast was already over when we came down at 10:30, which was disappointing. We were told we had to pay if we wanted to eat when the mistake had been theirs.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Lovely friendly staff, beautiful fresh continental breakfast with lovely fresh baguettes.
Good 7.9
Pros: In general, the hotel is comfortable. The bed is comfortable although the room is a bit small for three persons.
Cons: None.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable, clean accommodation, with plenty of free secure parking, quiet location, and easy access to the autoroutes, north or south. Easy access to the lovely city of Avignon. Super good value breakfast. Good value for money. Excellent shopping and eateries close by. Very friendly and helpful staff. Have used this hotel regularly twice a year, for about 5 years now, travelling by car to and from our holiday home in the South of France at the beginning and end of the year. Highly recommended!
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Comfortable clean accommodation, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lots of free secure parking. Easy access from autoroutes, and to centre of Avignon.
Cons: Would have liked boiled eggs, and fruit such as grapefruit and grapes to have instead of cereal, but the breakfast still was very good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Convenient location to the autoroutes and to Avignon. In a quiet location, with plenty of free secure parking. Good facilities, and comfortable beds. Very good all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast. Very friendly, helpful staff. This was our fourth stay. Highly recommended and very good value for money!
Cons: Would have liked some eggs and cheese to be offered in what was still a very good buffet breakfast.
Okay 4.2
Cons: they have serious humidity problems in the rooms, it is not healthy to sleep
Good 6.7
Pros: Our room which was literally at the rear of the reception was dark and smelt of smoke. If WiFi is important for you, don't bother as I could not get it at all
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Cheap, clean, pleasant staff, good breakfast
Cons: Wi fi intermittent at best. Light switch did not turn off. No tea or coffee in room. Not very much space.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was good and helpful, very close to drive around the nearby attractions. Good parking space. Lot of SuperStores nearby
Good 7.5
Pros: Convenient to airport and bus stop
Cons: Very small room.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very helpful staff...nice and quiet location excellent value for money.
Good 6.0
Pros: The place is affordable and they have ample parking.
Cons: Everything was old. Clean but old, in non charming way. Bed wasn't comfortable. Whole place felt like a make-fit or temporary nature.
Okay 5.7
Pros: Hotel Cristol is basically a motel for business travellers: Privacy is good: Rooms are comfortable with all necessities: The staff were friendly and most helpful
Cons: Hotel Cristol is half an hour by local bus from the centre of Avignon - a point I did not realise when I booked: This proved inconvenient, but certainly my own fault:
Good 7.3
Pros: The patio garden was a wonderful place to work, especially as they served coffee, beer & wine there.
Cons: The only problem (minor in our case) was that you needed a car to get to the city of Avignon. If you had a car, it was really no problem. If you didn't, then you were stuck.
Good 6.3
Pros: Relaxed country atmosphere
Good 6.0
Pros: it is a very clean hotel with wi-fi connection. the people their are so kind they help us a lot .
Cons: as we travelled by public transportation during the stay, the location is a bit far away from the city center, although there is bus No 3 ,but it out of duty so early at the afternoon.
Good 6.3
Pros: It was only 1 night. Suggest to visit old town.
Cons: Stuff
Mediocre 3.6
Pros: Parking space.
Cons: Despite asking for a non-smoking room had an ashtray in the room + just outside my door was a table & chairs where guests would sit and smoke all night. Bathroom towels: no towels one day, had to ask and was only given hand towels to shower with! No compensation offered - free breakfast would've been nice. Then my PJs were left on the floor after the sheets were changed.
Good 6.4
Pros: The hotel was clean and its staff really helpfull. The room had a double bed and a "loft bed" for the children. Secure parking and just outside Avignon
Cons: It would have been cheaper if we had just turned up rather than pre booked!!
Good 6.0
Pros: The personnel attitude and the location with a the little garden.
Cons: $review.cons
Good 6.4
Pros: it was comfortable and clean and very quaint. We used it as a stop over and was perfect for that
Cons: $review.cons
Okay 4.4
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: The Mezzanine was inappropriate for our stay as we were a senior, 1 adult and 1 small child. It was not totally clear from the information that there was only 1 room type that sleeps 1,2,3 or 4 people.
