Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. They also have a self-serve espresso machine and water in the breakfast area for anytime use. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious for Europe standards.
Cons: Everything was great!
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Nice boutique hotel. It's the perfect location if you want to shop at the design shops (Gucci, Prada, etc.). Otherwise, it's about a 5-15 minute walk to all the main tourist sites. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is free WiFi and a nice breakfast from 7:30 - 10:30 am.
Cons: No real complaints, but there's not much of a hotel bar. There is a bar area in the same room where breakfast is served, but you need to call the front desk to ask someone to come serve you, so I didn't bother. You will probably want to go out for dinner/drinks instead. I just remembered that I couldn't get the TV remote to change stations, but since almost all stations were in Italian and I didn't spend much time in the room, I didn't ask the staff to help resolve that little issue. But I'm sure they would have helped.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Its a good location to all the branded outlets
Cons: During this time the weather is hot
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The location is amazing , perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the beautiful nature around it . Big rooms , rustic setup.
Cons: The activities prices are quite high , in addition to the dead insects in the pool that remove a lot of its appeal . The insects and flies needs to be take care off one way or another .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was beyond our expectations! The villa is located in Mugello hills, far from the noise of the city, in the heart of nature. Everywhere you look you see a great and authentic landscape, exactly as you can see in the movies about Toscana. So the place is great and I strongly recommend to go there and just stay, relax and walk around because is so pity not to enjoy the surroundings. Our triple room was located on the second floor so we had an amazing, breathtaking view. The room and also the bathroom are very big and clean, beautifully decorated, as the whole villa. The bed (not the couch) was very comfortable. The view from the pool is also great and the water seemed to be warm enough. The villa has its own restaurant with not so many but delicious dishes and it is open all day long (for lunch, dinner and in between for ~merenda~ and drinks). The breakfast is also delicious. The host and also the staff (especially the girls from reception and the waitresses) are very polite and helpful. There are many beautiful places where to stay in Tuscany but this is heaven on earth so it`s a must to visit. Congratulations to the owners for eveything they do!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Viola and Gemma made us feel so welcome! The Villa is incredibly beautiful and so well run - our bedroom was really spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast (as well as other food we were served at meal times) was excellent! We enjoyed a lovely massage on our first day here too - which was done with home produced olive oil with added essential oils! Perfecto! All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The setting is so peaceful and my boyfriend and I are leaving feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated. Would definitely highly recommend! The only one thing to mention (which isn’t necessarily a negative) is the hotel is in quite a remote location, we didn’t hire a car so if we wanted to travel anywhere, it was a minimum of 30EUR taxi to the nearest train station (Vicchio). But if you’re well equipped with everything you need, you won’t want to leave anyway! :-)

Pros: Very friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, they guided us about the important landmarks nearby and marked every place on a map to help us find them. The buffet breakfast was excellent, the french toast and mushroom cheese omelette were delicious. I loved the free apertivo hours in the evening where you could sit in the bar, sip a drink of the day,(or juice) with hors d'oeuvres like nuts, bite size sandwiches, olives, etc.
Cons: In house restaurant would have been a huge plus.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast, a good nights sleep and the very freshly refurbished hotel definitely is in far better condition than you would expect for Italian standards.
Cons: The spa area wasn’t ready for guests yet and supposedly won’t be ready until December 2019 - that came a bit as surprise, because it has been advertised on booking.com. Apart from that, we loved it there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Food was wonderful...especially the french toast with Nutella & strawberries! Staff was super friendly and didn't make us feel awkward that our Italian was not very good. Like staying with family! And the room.... beautiful! Extremely clean! Can't wait to return some day
Cons: The spa wasn't ready yet. I guess we'll have to come back next year! Also, it was on the outskirts of central Florence. But, then again, not as " crazy" as the center.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brand new hotel, close to everything ( 10 min walking to Ponte vecchio, by the Arno river, very nice). Reception very polite and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms very big with one of the best bathrooms (suite with jacuzzi). Overall I was very surprised (regarding all other 4 or even 5 star hotels in Italy)

Pros: Deluxe rooms are lovely however anything less is quite basic. A good 25 m walk to the centre.
Cons: The little additions when everything was paid for! Parking and tourist tax are payable locally which is similar to many other planes however taking cash payments for booking trips and the being told at the Uffizi that you can only pay when you arrive to skip the queue is highly questionable!!

They try and get the best results for all of my requests. They even made a reservation for the uffuzi galery for us in the time of huge turist traffic. And then the breakfast, it is also perfect. Special thanks to Mrs. Huda who remembered my coffee every morning in the breakfast.

Pros: The hotel was nice, clean and close to Mercato Centrale. The staff were very friendly and willing to help when needed. They offer a welcome drink each day between 5:30pm - 7:30pm which is nice after a long day of touring Florence in the heat. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The staff wrote nice birthday notes and left a bottle of Prosecco for my wife, which made her day.
Cons: The rooms were on the smaller side - if travelling with two check in bags, there wasn't much room to have both bags open or much closet/drawer space to put clothes out. Not a big deal, but some people may life to unpack and put the bags away.

Pros: A great hotel in an historic building in a marvellous location in Florence. It has a real air of luxury. The staff are very professional and friendly. We were also impressed by little details like the fragrance of the exclusive Dr Vranjes air fresheners in our room and the lounges. Very impressive.

6.8 Good
Pros: the staff and the breakfast were great. The room was extra clean and very well maintained. The level of noise from the street till 3am, and from the aircon on low setting - the only one ! was too much. we could not sleep well on any night. room 401
Cons: the street noise - even though i had booked a river view - it was too much .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, very close to the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, and Ponte Vecchio. Beautiful room, with lots of luxurious little touches. The view I had was very good. I will forever enjoy the memory of opening my windows to listen to the sounds of Florence below. The rooftop bar was wonderful. The view from the top was great and the service from the bar staff was also top notch. Honestly, this is the best hotel I've stayed at in Italy, and the biggest reason why is the staff. The cleaning staff keeps everything looking sharp and tidy. My room was spotless. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful with any request I made, helping me find a jewelry shop off Ponte Vecchio, getting taxis for me, making reservations and recommendations, and doing it all with a smile and in a very friendly manner. They are the shining jewel of this establishment.
Cons: The only thing I can think of that wasn't absolutely perfect is the wifi range. In many places, I could only get two bars, but I could get three in many places as well, so this is a minor problem.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with super friendly staff. Great location and we loved our room with view of Arno and Ponte Vecchio.
Cons: Would be nice to have water boiling pot in the room and/or coffee maker.

Pros: The hotel staff was amazing. Rachel at the front desk helped us in every way. The rest of the front desk staff were all fantastic. The upgraded room was deeply thoughtful. I would recommend hotel very highly.
Hotel Rapallo - Florence - Building

9.3 Excellent (911 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hotel Rapallo places you in the heart of Florence, within a 10-minute walk of Fortezza da Basso and Gallery of the Academy of Florence. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bedding. I loved the pillows. Good layout in the twin room with two beds distant from each other against the wall(just like a college dorm). Good privacy if you are traveling with family. Large patio with chairs, table and sofa. Valet parking is good for 24hr. You can stay for only one night and leave the car in garage for another half day.
Cons: Twin room is a bit smaller than the double room. Feels more like a room in a suite. No access to your car after it gets to the parking garage. No drop-off parking zone. You will have to find the nearest possible street parking to take out your luggage and get yourself check in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed, really a great bed
Cons: The wifi connection will be improvement
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This property is well located to visit the sites in Florence typical for an American traveler visiting. The train station is within walkable distance, so it is possible to take the train into Florence and then walk to the hotel (depending on amount of baggage & going over cobblestone streets/sidewalks). This is very near the Academia with David statue and nearby restaurants. The room was well sized for being in a downtown/historic area. The features of the room were modernized & clean. AC was on and kept the room comfortable even for a US traveler during the height of summer heat. The rate we purchases included breakfast daily that was a nice start to the day with typical options for a breakfast buffet in Europe. The food was fresh and well prepared.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was so nice, specially the room with the terrace and the amazing view over the Roofs till Fiesole. All was clean and the stuffs had always a smile on their faces. The breakfast was very good, specially the Cappuccino, which you can order. Room was Ready 10 minutes after our receiving which his a bonus from our side. The tea time we didn´t use in the afternoon, which is included in the price. We are very often in Firenze, and have seen a lot of Hotels, but this will be our favourite one, also for our next trip. We felt very warm wellcome! Thank you!
Cons: All was fine!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely small boutique style hotel. Beautifullly decorated and super clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful and go the extra mile recommending some great restaurants to us. Loads of choice for breakfast including cold and hot options. Afternoon tea was a real bonus and very welcome after a days sightseeing! Location is great, only about 10 minute walk to the main centre. Highly recommend staying at the Rapallo.
Cons: Nothing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are perfect. Delicious breakfast! Free water offered! Will visit again!
Cons: Around 10~15 mins from the station. It's really hard to move with a big luggage with from the station to the hotel, but the staff greeted us with ice water right after our arrival. Breakfast has limited choices.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good choices for breakfast. Lovely helpful staff. This was my second stay at the hotel and I’d stay again.
Cons: Nothing
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Staff were fabulous! Made you feel like a VIP. Rooms were small, but charming and so comfortable. One outlet was universal, so we could charge more devices without multiple adapters. Great breakfast and tea in the afternoon. Only 10-15 min from the sights. Has an elevator, so it's also good for tired legs at the end of a long day or family travel or elderly travel. Decent hair drier which is good to know since many hotels don't have very good ones.
Cons: These suggestions not a criticism of the hotel. Rather a few notes for potential travelers. Most hotels in the area seem to have shampoo, but not conditioner. Also be prepared for small (but very very good!) cups of coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big bathroom and comfy bed
Cons: No toaster for breakfast, although the staff did make us some when we asked.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: 1. Location 2. Quiet and clean 3. Nice breakfast 4. Excellent service 5. Excellent cappuccino
Cons: The electricity in our room went out twice in the night and my husband has a c pap machine that shut off. The room key operates the power and it malfunctioned. That was the only thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, far from the crowds. Only 10 minutes walk to Academy and 14 min. walk to Duomo. Descent Breakfast.
Cons: Everything was Ok!

Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy - Florence - Building
14
9.3 Excellent (386 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you look at the Renaissance, there are few places that can match the amount of art and architecture that came out of Florence. This Tuscan city is at the heart not just of Italian culture, but of Western civilization. If you’re looking to the place where Dante conceived of the Divine Comedy or Da Vinci conceived of inventions centuries before they were actually created, then Florence is your city. As a bonus, the Tuscan dialect is the national language of Italy. Staying at the Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy ensures you get all that this cultural capital has to offer. One of the great sights in Florence is the Duomo, and when you stay at the Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy, there’s a good chance your room will have a great view of the Duomo. Located on the Piazza Repubblica, you can easily walk to the Duomo or see all the great art at the Uffizi. The best part is seeing the attractions and all that Florence has to offer is literally at your doorstep. The luxury accommodations showcase the best of Tuscan hospitality. Tuscan dining is something everyone should experience. The hotels restaurants and bar – the Irene and the Irene Bar – serve up the best in Tuscan cuisine and wine. Tuscan wine is considered some of the best in the world and having it fresh from the vineyards is something that can be replicated anywhere else. The small Tuscan restaurants and street food is also a great experience for travelers, as this is authentic food and drink as well. Enjoy a trip to Florence by staying in one of its premier hotels, the Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy.

Pros: It was excellent ! Very nice house with a fantastic view on the campaign and great hosts! We do recommend it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: hosts are very nice, cappucino was great, scenery very beautiful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast with gluten free options and fresh strawberries. And great cappuccinos! The hosts Perla and Franco were so friendly and welcoming, they are very special people. They provided everything we could have asked for including transportation to and from tram station and to restaurant for dinner. Our room was immaculate and the in-room sauna was a much needed and appreciated feature after a long day of walking the area!
Cons: More suggestions for day trips in the area. Unfortunately, the winery in the local area on the day we had to explore was closed (Sunday). But that was just unfortunate timing on our part.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and best hosts ever! Was a pleasure to stay at Perla, Franco & Zoia. Their hospitality is outrageous (as well as the creamy cappuccino)! The telescope on the cozy rooftop lets to see the moon and makes this stay even more memorable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Broncigliano Luxury B&B is like a magnificent Tuscan oasis - everything you could imagine and more. From the extraordinarily friendly and thoughtful hosts - Pearla and Franco (they are truly beautiful people); to the splendid scenery of rolling Tuscan hills; to the pristinely manicured gardens; to the lovingly restored and immaculate accommodation in a 14th century building - you will never want to leave. And, all of this is within a 20 minute tram ride from the heart of Florence - bellissimo.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an amazing experience. First of all we were welcomed by the most gentle and sweet couple/the owners of the B&B. They made us feel like home and where very serviceminded. Other than that they are just super nice people and interesting to speak with. It is visible that they care about their guests and they enjoy to meet new people. It’s the kind of people you will always remember and that makes travelling like an adventure - so thank you for that :) I have to admit that I was served the best cappucino I have ever tried! And the owner also let me try his own home made liqueurs - it was really tasty and interesting to try. Second of all the house is like a castle with beautiful marble interior, hand painted ceilings, beautifully decorated rooms with big private new bathroom and a very nice and clean garden with cozy chairs to enjoy the amazing landscape view - it looks like a beautiful painting. It will give you peace in mind :) It is also close to train station which will take you to the center of Florence - very easy and comfortable. We recommend to stay at this B&B if you want to spoil yourself - you will not regret it! :) Best regards from Olga&Dennis&Masha&Maxim
Cons: There is nothing not to like :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Franco and Perla were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were treated like family!

Pros: Great location, cool staff
Cons: Disappointed by the rooms for a 4 stars hotel (i guess some rooms have better view but our was almost unacceptable (no possibility to open the curtains as you could shake the hand of the guy in the room in front of you - you have to like living in the darkness), and the breakfast was really average with very poor choice.

Pros: Great location near all of the highlights, nice room with sufficient space for 3 and best of all is the fantastic rooftop pool and bar.
Cons: Can’t think of much, the shower head could do with some maintenance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooftop bar with view of the city.
Cons: It’s a bit of a walk to the main attractions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfortable room! Hospitality was fabulous!
Cons: Location to many sites is excellent!
7.5 Good
Pros: I really liked the beautiful lobby and the rooftop pool. Even though it was tiny it was perfect for an afternoon dip in the 105F degrees weather. The bar was beautiful. Loved the personal android device everyone gets in their room for their stay! And the chargers for all your devices.
Cons: My room was very dark, looking on to other windows on all four sides. The shower/bathroom was a tight squeeze. When you walk into the room there was a twin bed (which we did not need) near the doorway and the queen bed in the rest of the room. Overall the room was a little sad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location - excellent view from rooftop
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooftop panoramic views were amazing and having dinner overlooking the city. The rooftop pool was awesome! Our dinner in the hotel was fabulous with the steak and lasagna! Our waiter Fabio was amazing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautiful, the view from the rooftop incredible and the staff helpful and always nice
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful. The rooftop pool and bar was fantastic. We will be back and I have already recommended this to another family member. The room was perfectly appointed and the bed was comfortable and quite. Florence, Italy is just spectacular at night and seeing it all from the roof was worth it.
Cons: A few things that you need to understand; the pool closes at 7:00pm so that they can convert the roof for viewing the sunset and the dinner buffet. The buffet food was just ok and the bar is expensive. Based on the diner bill; there is a cover charge for having diner on the roof and the view. We did had a cleanliness issue in our room. After we alerted them to it; while we were at diner, they promptly took care of it and gave us a bit back on the final bill. The particular issue should never have happened. Even thought we had an issue, we will be back.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Its a really fantastic property located on the river. The bar near the reception and the terrace restaurant and bar are amazing with great service and ambiance. The rooms were extremely spacious and the hotel feels more like a 5 star rather than a 4 star hotel. We even got an upgrade which was helpful. The concierge was one of the best and very helpful with great recommendations, etc.
Cons: The wifi in my room did not work for the entire 4 days! earlier they didnt acknowledge the problem and later they said the tech guy couldnt fix the issue so i was left with no Wifi for the entire stay. This was only compensated by removing €27 off my final bill.
7.7 Good
Pros: Our room faced the river m, such a beautiful view. The room was nice & very clean. The concierge recommended some excellent restaurants.
Cons: The street noise is loud at night, so either ask for a quiet room some where or bring ear plugs. The staff working the breakfast each morning could be a lot more friendly.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Beds hard and rooms very small shower tiny for a 6 ft man

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is really good, and the time for breakfast is very long. The waiters there are very nice.
Cons: Every single people working there were very nice to us, unfortunately excepts one receptionist, and because of this one, I have to give bad score for "Staff", which I do not think I am fair. But they need to carefully look back to the dishonest guy. He was the one who welcomed us and worked for our check-in. He asked me to pay city tax for 2 persons and 8 nights on the check-in. I was supprised a bit since we normally pay it when checking out. But fine, I paid him by cash and also my colleague . He didn't give me the receipt for the city tax, and I thought it would be mentioned in the receipt at the end. Then 8 days later, I was asked to pay the city tax again, by another receptionist when checking out. When I said I already paid, she asked me for the receipt of the city tax, which I could not show her because the other receipt has mentioned only room fee. I asked her to check with the guy at check-in, he told her on the phone that he for sure remembered I had not paid the tax, and he remembered that he checked my credit card only, but not asking me to pay anything!!! Then at that time I am quite sure that he did not tell the truth. I booked the non-refund room and how the hell he could ask to check my credit card when the room already paid long before I come! The female receptionist said that they would look back to the camera (and in this case, they would see me paying the tax by cash) and inform me or communicate with me. But several days have passed, I receive nothing from Luca Room Mate.

Cons: Nothing... all was great.
7.5 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean and the location was perfect. The breakfast was also good.
Cons: I didn't like that my room was facing the street, and every single morning at 5:00 am the garbage truck was coming to pick up the trash and the trashed glass bottles. This was so annoying and I was not able to get good sleep.
