Lovely Room and Bathroom, decent dram selection downstairs in the Bar, Staff were lovely, only niggle was the coffee at breakfast...awful ! Everything else was great and I truly recommend this Hotel.
The Coffee !
Well appointed hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem. Our dog was made very welcome with treats and water.
Only comment as that as an old building the floor were a little creaky. Not a major problem.
A bed for the night after driving for 12 hours.
Over priced menu, stiff jabby bed, low pressure shower.
Room War Well furnished power shower was good addition roaring fire in lounge had a very pleasant night. Plenty parking staff helpfull left to early for breakfast so can't comment.
In common with many hotels present restaurant as upmarket but use frozen chips...really...can chef not cook some chips..my wife can show him. Lazy lazy and British clients lazy for accepting them. French £10 plat de jour would never present such foods...come on owners..peel a potatoes 25 mins in air fryer job done far better
