Pros: Very pleasant place to stay. Ian and Sue made us very welcome and were helpful beyond the call of duty!! Lovely room comfy bed- very important.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful owmers
Pros: The welcome. Arriving hot and tired, we were immediately given refreshments and made so welcome. The description on your pages does not do this place justice. Our room was described as "private external bathroom" and we were expecting to have to trot along a corridor. Not so, this room is truly a suite, with separate toilet, bathroom with superb double sink unit and lovely bath with shower over. Bedroom. The whole unit is accessed via your own private door. Moreover, there is a supply of bath salts etc. Bedroom overlooked main road which is quiet and deserted of traffic by 7pm. This was our second night stop on a month`s cycling La Velodyssee, and the accommodation, the breakfast, everything, exceeded anything else which we experienced in other chamber d`hote accommodation. We considered it far too cheap for the services provided. I somehow missed the fact that an evening meal could be booked ahead, so we ate in the only restaurant open which was pretty well next door. It was just ok, and very limited choice, but that`s rural France. I know Sue would have done a lot better! Ian offered to give us a head start the following day by taking our bikes further on in our route. My conversion of kilometers to miles was often out so we found ourselves doing many more miles than planned, in a day. but such generous assistance would have been cheating so we slogged it out and soon got into our stride. What a wonderful gesture, evidence of nothing being too much trouble. Without hesitation, go there!
Pros: The continental breakfast was very good.especialy the bread.very cozy bedroom with nice bathroom spotlessly clean very comfy 3 day stay would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Lovely place. Beautiful people.
Cons: It was great
Pros: Lovely bathroom and good breakfast
Pros: Friendly owners lovely comfortable bed breakfast continental style Clean and fresh very comfortable bed and lovely bath!
Cons: The property was excellent!! Would return next time in the area Eating in the area, local pub/ eatery finished serving food at 8pm, we arrived at 8pm closed so drove to the centre for a panini everywhere closed!
Pros: Our room was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the traditional breakfasts.
Pros: Host were charming and amenable and very friendly. Bed was comfortable and bathroom excellent.
Pros: Hosts were wonderful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it was lovey to talk to them . Thank you Sue and Ian.

Pros: Absolutely love this place. Chris and Val are excellent at what they do and will do anything for you. We loved every second staying here we didn't want to leave.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.
Pros: Nicest owners anywhere - very helpful. Even helped me lube my bicycle chain. Room and furnishings were immaculate and very tasteful. Thanks
Pros: Great location in Caurel within short distance to the lake. Val and Chris are superb hosts and looked after us well, including welcoming us after our very late arrival. Clean, tidy and comfortable room, with breakfast included in the deal served at a time to suit yourselves in pleasant surroundings.
Cons: We were aware when booking that we had the last available room, which was small but adequate for our short stay. A minor point was that a wardrobe or some hanging rail would have been useful - but this is not a grumble as perhaps the larger rooms are so equipped!
Pros: We were made to feel welcome from the first minute. Lovely room and excellent food. Val and Chris gave us lots of advice as we are buying a property in Brittany.
Pros: Valfrescos is as it is presented at the website. The personnal touch, the ambiance and the hospitality of the owners made my stay perfect.
Pros: warm welcome and very friendly what didn't you like
Pros: Excellent welcome from Val and Chris, that continued through our visit. Terrific value for the location, as the lake is an easy 20/30 min walk.
Pros: Valfrescos was wonderful, breakfast each morning had fresh bread and pastries and a big pot of tea! Our room had a lake view which was lovely. The hosts went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, nothing was a problem to them.
Cons: Nothing, it was all wonderful
Pros: We spent an excellent night with Val and Chris. We felt they were friends by the time we left. Our evening meal and breakfast were both wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them!
Pros: Lovely room and bathroom, lovely owners
Cons: Every thing was nice, but a tv in the room would have been good.

Pros: Amazingly helpful hosts, lots of space in the accommodation and unexpected extra facilities such as dishwasher, and access to washing machine. They were also very welcoming to my little dog.
Pros: Helen and Carl, the English-speaking hosts, were friendly and helpful. Put me in touch with a local garage 'Top Car' with a last minute car problem before the ferry. I had appropriately-named Roost studio under the eaves for 2 weeks. Light and airy in agricultural countryside, it was perfect for my writing purposes. I was not there to cook so only used fridge and kettle but the kitchenette was well equipped. Big double bed was comfortable and I was given fresh sheets and towels for Wk2. Wifi fine and table and chairs right height for working in front of wide scenic windows. Roof window in bathroom - able to visit loo by starlight, magic!! Shower pressure good when I got the 'hot' temperature setting right for me. There were warnings about red-hot water.
Cons: Obviously, the staircase though it was not as bad as I feared. Think they should put a photo on the website rather than describing it. Easy going up and with care coming down - there is a handrail. Travel with several smaller bags rather than big framed and wheeled suitcase and you'd have no problem.
Pros: From the moment we arrived our hosts Carl & Helen made us feel at home. The studio was roomy. The bed as oh so comfy. Both English and French TV added bonus. All the items we needed to cook were proved for in the kitchen area. Helen's Breakfast was just right and a great cuppa Looking forward to returning next Year.
Cons: There was nothing we disliked about this stay. Apart from having to leave to catch the Ferry Home.
Pros: This is an excellent place to stay for a few days and make trips out around Brittany which we did. There is everything there kitchen wise and washing facilites to catch up on refreshing clothes. The village is charming . Highly recommend this Gite.
Pros: Both were wonderful hosts, we feel like we have made new friends, we will definitely be in touch for our return journey, thank you both, love from Steve and Sam Dance
Pros: Everything was beyond our expectations, great and quiet location. Host was very friendly and checked with us every day. Located between villages in the beautiful Bretagne countryside. Will definitely be back.
Pros: The shower was nice and there was a plentiful supply of hot water. The gites were in a quiet, countryside location.
Cons: The gite was filthy. When we wiped over the kitchen surfaces with a damp paper towel it came away brown with dirt. Similarly, the kitchen cupboards and draws were dirty. We had to clean all the kitchen cupboards and put all crockery and cutlery through the dishwasher before we felt it was safe to use. The WiFi was also very poor with difficulty connecting and frequent dropouts. This is possibly due to having two routers on the same WiFi channel and should be reasonably simple to remedy.
Pros: The accommodation was perfect for a relaxing week away. I would recommend this property for families and couples wanting a break away in central Brittany
Pros: Owners were friendly and helpful.
Pros: Great location. Found the place late at night hadn’t eaten so the host put some food together for us. Saved the day. Perfect

Pros: This is a truely amazing property and very great value for money. You get a lot more than what is advertised and the hosts are amazing they can't do enough for you even if you can't speak French . The property is the cleanest one we have ever stayed in it is like home from home. We have been backwards and forwards the last 2 years as we are looking for house so we have stayed in many and even though we have just bought a house we will be staying here again. Also on booking.com it says this is a communal kitchen which is wrong you get the whole property hot tube and sauna the pictures really does not do this property justice. So if you ever get a chance yo book this do so as you will not be disappointed
Cons: There is nothing to dislike at all

Pros: Friendly staff and comfortable room. They even offered us a meal with their family when we first arrived. They were also able to offer a secure storage spot for our bicycles.
Pros: Friendly hosts
Cons: Nothing really but the breakfast could have been a little better
Cons: No one there at breakfast. Communication was hopeless. We needed to go home as an emergency and they were not friendly at all regarding this
Pros: The Relais is very convenient for cyclists on the Velodyssee route. The hosts are very welcoming and madame speaks good English. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and perfect for an overnight stay. We had a freshly cooked evening meal which was very enjoyable. Breakfast was simple but OK. Would stay again if cycling in this direction.
Cons: The bathroom in our room would benefit from redecoration.
Pros: Welcoming and comfortable. Very good bar and restaurant - excellent fish and chips.
